It is a lot better then it was a few years ago, much cleaner. With COVID the only that is terrible and has been keeping me from coming back is that they do not give samples! I know some may say it's COVID but they are still scooping the ice cream so I do not really understand the difference, it is not like they are using the little spoons over and they are wearing gloves, doesn't make sense at all. Not sure why but this store always smells like sewage and bleach. Makes me not want to buy anything there. The staff are not always super friendly, probably bored out of their minds since this place is so hidden. Otherwise, Handel's is our go to place!
