I always feel good visiting a small business. This is a tiny, hole in the wall, right next to a barber shop. Flavors are posted on the wall. Service was friendly and personalized. I enjoyed my scoop of milk tea ice cream. It was rich and creamy. There's a little seating inside and outdoors. I sat at the table outdoors. Perfect place to stop by after the Torrance Antique Fair.

[ Food ]: 5 stars [ Service ]: 2 stars Came here around closing time on a Sunday evening ( 02/25/24 5pm ish). It took us 15 min from when the order was placed to get the ice cream. Two scoops of ice cream. There was a family of three ahead of us with a small order as well. After 15 min, we did get our order with a waffle cone. I presumed the worker must have freshly made this waffle cone because it was pretty fresh and chewy. I guess that makes up for the wait. For the worker, please let the customer know how long it will take. In this instance, we ordered ice cream and expected to be out within 5 minutes. If you had informed us a waffle cone would be added, it would have been good to give a heads up that it would take 10 more minutes.

Tried and tired creameries better watch out; This hole in the wall gem is about to give them a run for our money. Located off a busy main street, this unassuming establishment had gone missed by even this local until fate had me in need of the laundromat next door. As I browsed their, rather eclectic, menu I was hit with a "Woyld you like to try all of our flavors?" That's right, all of them. From ube brownie to matcha oreo the clerk (and apparently confectioner) featuring samples of 6 novel flavors and 1 classic good (chocolate). Top recommendations: Jasmine Tea and Taro Blueberry Other Standouts: The lactaid tablets on the counter. This establishment is gut-flora inclusive - and we love it. PS to the establishment: For research on that new ice cream you're working on, head over to a Salvadorian restaurant and order atol de elote (we like Paseo San Miguel). See if that offers you some inspirational direction.

I love ice cream! However, most places can't quite strike the perfect balance in flavor, and would either lean too much on the artificial side, or the flavor would taste natural (a good thing) but it's too light and you can barely taste the flavor at all. Also, some places have their ratios off, and the ice cream is too watery/icy and just not creamy enough (it's called ice CREAM for a reason). However, this place manages to strike a happy medium. They were even lovely enough to give me a sampler of every flavor (I didn't just get offered the ice cream sampler flight like many reviewers here, but I can be shameless at times so I just asked them for it). And the best part, they have a container of free lactaid pills near the register! My recently lactose intolerance belly is very thankful My only negative is the parking: it doesn't have a parking lot and solely relies on street parking with many of the other local businesses, so if the street is packed, you're out of luck. But this is one of my favorite ice cream places around here, if not my #1 favorite, so I'll definitely be back.

First off the quality of the ice cream is extremely rich and creamy. Many unique flavors and they're all too good to pass. The service is also super friendly and quick. We couldn't decide on which flavors to get, so the young lady brought us samples for each and every single one including a flavor that's not on the menu. Small store but so lucky we stumbled across it. Will definitely come back!!

Mom and Pop shop home made ice cream. Reminds me of “salt and straw” with the out the large lines. They give you samples of all flavors and they are all equally tasty. Service is excellent and welcoming.Outdoor sidewalk seating is available and indoors. It’s nice to have a local shop for sure.Worth trying and would come back.

One of the highlights of our visit was the generosity and friendliness of the owners, who graciously offered us a variety of samples to help us decide on what to pick. It's evident that they're very passionate about their craft! The combos are really flavorful and unique like matcha oreo and taro blueberry. My favorite was the jasmine milk tea ice cream--it had very delicate and light floral notes and was the perfect amount of sweetness. We took some to take home since it was good! We can't wait to go back for more unique and delicious ice cream!

Small ice cream shop with fun flavors. The guy at the front offered for us to try different flavors and all were pretty tasty. We took a pint home and ate a small cup of the banana pudding! Yum.

Their durian ice cream is surreal. I bought a whole pint and you can taste the authentic fruit flavor in it. I wish them much success!

They deserve all the praise! Just popped in looking for something sweet after lunch and we were met with amazing customer service and DELICIOUS ice cream! The person at the register was so kind and brought out samples of EVERY FLAVOR for us to try! You can't go wrong with any of them. They were all phenomenal. They said they only opened up about a month ago so I hope they pick up the attention they deserve!

If you walk into an ice cream shop and uncertain what flavors to ask to try, this place is currently offering samples of each flavor without having to choose which one ...that's right ALL FLAVORS TO SAMPLE! Felt like I scored big on Costco Sunday. Staff was very friendly. Cute quaint vibes with Halloween candy (the good stuff not just smarties) and Lactase for all who want to enjoy this dairy indulgence. Just had the chocolate cone and it was divine! My husband was looking for vanilla but, opted for the lemon cheesecake. Every flavor was so delicious. They offer pints and singles in limited flavors to take home.

This building used to house Little Mary's Bahn Mi (hence why the front of the shop and their receipts still say "Little Shop of Mary" on them), emphasis on the "little". It is very small inside the shop with one small table for two inside and (if I remember correctly) three more tables for two outside the shop. You can park on the street right in front of the shop or you can turn down one of the side streets and park there. The workers were very friendly and kind, and they let us sample all of the flavors! It was a bit busy when we got there, and we waited about 5 minutes or so to get our ice cream after we ordered. I ordered the Taro Blueberry and was pleasantly surprised by the little chunks of blueberry inside of it. It was just the right amount of sweetness, but I do wish the blueberry and taro flavors were a little stronger. Highly recommend getting it in a cone, as the cone tasted so good!

We can't wait to go back to Churnt Creamery! We had fun sampling so many unique flavors (and were welcomed to try them all!). I'm already craving another scoop of the Taro Blueberry. Looking forward to trying more flavors as well!
