If you order a Bite Box it is a single side and a main. The Single Box requires three sides, which is a lot even too much food for lunch or a light dinner. (We were ordering online on DoorDash for the first time so we were confused about how to order just one side and one main but we eventually figured it out.) “What a wonderful experience ! Had to come back after coming in I came in December when the lake had its Christmas tree lightening. I can't and have stopped talking about the bacon covered stuffed dates and how the food was hot and fresh in everything that was ordered. Yesterday I came in with someone who hasn't experienced and lives near the one in yorba linda. With the experience, atmosphere and delicious food he's making sure to attend his local. Miles our server was the absolute best!!! I mean just down right genuine! He was able to catch on with our humor and laugh. When you have employees like this it just makes experience being there and the people your with so much better. We also asked for his opinion on selections for our meal. Instead of saying "I don't know" he was able to pick something from each section in what he enjoys but also what other customers truly enjoy. Having this knowledge and able to share just puts a little more confidence in what you are choosing. I split the pastrami dip sandwich with my friend and we both found it down right delicious. the pickles on that amazing. The dipping sauce was amazing too and I couldn't decide to dip or not. My husband got the chipotle sandwich which was amazing especially the sauce. With that I will definitely be back-hopefully to get pictures next time- but also will be checking for miles to be our guy if he's working!“

The double tea time made with tequilla is as is the patron, club sofa, lime, lemon, and mint. The food is delightful, and Kelly stopped by to assist and was simply amazing as well. Tate delivered our food and was also attentive and quite kind. The bread and butter were so good and fresh. “Our Place Lake Forest is a great neighborhood Bar/Restaurant. The staff is very friendly and they take good care of the customers. I host an Open Mic there on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday every Month. It is always Taco Tuesday when I am there. I get the Beria Tacos and they are delicious. Our Place has great music on many other nights. They also have comedy nights and are great supporters of the LGBTQ community. The owner cliff is a great guy and does an awesome job of running the place. I highly recommend Our Place.“

As a first responder, I don’t always have time To go to a restaurant to eat, so having my food with me Makes my life easier. Between the chimichurri sauce, and the green salsa, I swear I could eat every meal with that. The service is always on point. I actually found a workaround for the straws because I love their smoothies and protein shakes but yes, they are a little bit thick for the straws. So I ended up bringing my own straw which are a little bit thicker. I bought them off of Amazon after California decided to make everything out of paper. Keep up the phenomenal work black market, I love your food and your service.“

Both restaurants share the same kitchen and restrooms. And there’s a lot of similarities between the menus but this has the better options.I always complain that OC doesn’t have great food but this place knows the game. And the wine menu is excellent. I even had a Pinot Noir from Baden, Germany. All dishes were excellent and the service was even better. Only complaint is the parking is terrible so good luck, maybe the lot is bigger in the back.“

We love eggs Benedict and they have some original twists on it, and even an option to get two smaller portions of different varieties which is what we like to do. The kids loved the French toast and their hot chocolate is excellent. We don’t drink coffee or alcohol so I can’t comment on that but we try the hot chocolate every where we go and theirs is so good, especially with the cinnamon they add. I don’t think you’d go wrong with any of their menu items.“

The menu prices were a bit on the higher side to adjust to what I would beleive to be high rent costs. But 3 and 1/2 buck for a so-so cup of coffee, hard pass. This is a 50’s diner feel, with 2035 prices. The vibe was a bit off and didn’t have that classic old school 50’s uniform, music and attitude going on… Which we all seem to love when visiting a diner. The plating was a bit to be desired and seemed a bit rushed really. It felt more like this had been saved as an investment and not a passion. Had the pleasure of visiting the Ruby’s in the South Coast Plaza Mall and was pleasantly surprised it was still a ruby’s and rockin the awesome old world diner vibe! They still have to work on the menu, it's pretty simple, but is satisfying for now. Big bar, high tables, and lots of tables for families inside. Big patio for live music outside. We received our first round of drinks quickly but our empty glasses sat for about 15-20 minutes before our waiter came by to ask about refills. We probably would have gone for a third round but I barely had time to finish my second drink due to the delay. Not a big deal at all though, they were clearly busy. It is very noisy inside and every voice echos from all the hard surfaces. It is themed fantastically though. Unfortunately the outside noise level isn't much better and while the fresh air is nice, there was very little ambiance and it didn't feel like the restaurant theme and decor made it to the patio. We were sat next to a very loud table and found ourselves almost having to yell to each other to hold a conversation due to the echo. The dinner was great and the dessert was even better. My pizza was very greasy and floppy but the crust was fantastic. Quality was there for sure. Not a bad restaurant at all and the staff is very friendly but I don't see us returning.“

“Situated at the cusp of suburbia of Lake Forest and the nature of Trabuco Canyon is the famous and popular roadhouse biker bar, Cook's Corner located in South Orange County. It is a cute wooden structure that holds a kitchen and full bar, which is connected to a large patio area with lots of additional outdoor seating and a large stage where many live bands have played on the weekends. This is a great spot to stop for a drink and some bar food. This past weekend we stopped in for an early dinner and all enjoyed different selections of burgers and fries along with a few beers.
