If you are looking for great food with awesome views at a great price, visit Jax on the Tracks. There's ample parking and it's easy access to the train station and the cute historic stretch of Truckee.
Great staff. Was surprised they have shakes only $6.99 on a grease board and then charge 9.99What ver, food still kicks butt over everything else in Truckee for the whole family or in our case the Snow Summit Ski Race

We happened to drive by this place and commented how cute it was and the following day while walking Truckee Downtown we crossed the tracks and decided to give it a try for lunch. The hamburgers were great, the pulled pork sandwich with cheese was off the chain and the shake that my daughter got was wonderful. No regrets from picking this place to grub at! The service was great too!!!!
