Wonderful dinner at Pianeta. Ambiance is cozy and classy; food was top notch - pasta dishes and ragu; wine list good (try the super Tuscan!) and desert was amazing. Loved our visit and will definitely be back!
It's expensive, but worth it in my opinion. I've never had anything I didn't like here, the quality of the food cannot be beat. Sometimes it gets a bit loud and cramped inside, but not usually to the point where you can't hear those at your table easily. The wait staff are knowledgeable about everything on the menu and we've always gotten great service here.

Absolutely delicious! The service, food, and drinks were phenomenal! Why not 5 stars, because they dont have high chairs which is a complete bummer since Truckee is a place a lot of families come to visit with their children and don't have child care to go without them. I hope they consider making this change as I would definitely come every time I'm in town if it was more comfortable for children to join.
