Last trip I picked up a slice of Lemon cake, a slice of their classic Marble with Bavarian Cream filling and chocolate chips (oh. my. God.) and a slice of strawberry cake. Even my husband who can pretty much take or leave cake was grooving on the slices.Cakery Bakery does exceptional custom cakes that are as delicious as they are beautiful. For my bestie's recent birthday I asked them to cover the entirety of the cake with frosting Hellebores, my friend's current favorite flower. For cake flavor I asked for German Chocolate (though I am an avid fan of their Marble with any flavor filling, besties loves her some German Chocolate).The cake was EXQUISITE and the German Chocolate a choice we'll definitely go with again. Bestie took some to work and got raves then froze the rest in slices. Even the frosting flowers were delicious, and decorative frosting isn't always.Even if you don't need a whole cake (and if you do and it's last minute they have some on hand as well) Cakery Bakery is an exceptional dessert bakery and they have coffee and seating as well.“

“First of all, Half Baked has the best cakes and cupcakes in all of Los Angeles, and it’s run by the kindest women. If we lived closer, we would go every day. They did an excellent job with our wedding cake. We did two tiers, with the one being chocolate cake and fresh strawberry+strawberry cream filling, and the other tier a vanilla cake with the same filling. What Half Baked excels at in my opinion is nailing a perfect balance. The cake was perfectly moist and also had a very nice fluffiness.The strawberry cream filling is something I can eat by the spoonful. It was perfectly balanced in that it wasn’t too sweet the way other creams/icings are. It was just perfect. So perfect that I asked them to make the same chocolate strawberry cake for my wife’s birthday a few months later. I asked for the rosette design in blush pink and they nailed it.Half Baked knows what they’re doing, and I just want to have parties all the time so they can keep making cakes for us. It feels good to know we have a dessert bakery for all the special memories for the rest of our lives!“

“This is actually one of the nicest BR I have been to, ever. It is very modern with dine in, carryout, AND drive-through options. It is clean and well lit as well as well stocked. I liked this place because they had a lot of other dessert treats besides just ice cream. Treats like their standard ice cream cakes and bananas, but also different ones like their mango fruit bars and mini personal ice cream cakes. The service was ok. There were four employees, and it seemed that if you don't let someone help you right away, you may have to wait a bit. I think just know what you want when you get there and it should work out fine. Also, I'm not sure about your local BR, but ours does not accept the deals offered through the app on our phones. I suppose they are an independently owned BR? “We found this cute cafe on Google and it was just what we wanted. A perfect place for a low-key cup of coffee and delicious pastry on a Saturday morning with a friend ( my daughter:-). Just FYI, there are only a couple of tables inside, and the parking lot is small and shared, but there is street parking. Arbi the owner was really nice and our almond croissants and lattes hit the spot. I work in Glendale and will definitely stop in again.“
“Well, it's Baskin-Robbins, home of the 31 flavors. I have been to this location several times and have ordered many items on the menu. The staff team are great and always provide suggestions and honest feedback on new flavors, from scoops to splits. My favorite are the milk shakes. I like to mix mine up, always trying something new. Depending on the day and the weather, there is a line doe the creamy goodies or walking right up to the counter to place an order. The place is always clean and always has the classic favorite flavors available. My drawback with most BR31 are the prices. I know prices have risen for mostly everything but a scoop of ice cream shouldn't be damn near $4. Still, this spot has fast service and plenty of the flavors I enjoy“
