“Great price, huge portions, AND it tastes great. Was craving Chinese takeout but wanted something better than panda express. Saw reviews saying this place is better quality and I can confirm that is true! I got combo B (two items) plus egg rolls (3 for $2).Highly recommend. Note the pic is after I started eating :)“
“Came in with no expectation and left with tastebuds and wallet happy!I had reservations about coming here due to the name that sounds like it caters to the same Panda Express crowd. However, after some vetting and missing our old chinese Noodle house that closed down, we decided to give this place a try. What drew us in was the lunch specials. Duh, savings of any kind makes the food taste even better. We ordered from the lunch menu:-$13 kung pao chicken 4.5 stars!-$14 ginger fish 4.0 stars! (lunch special $12.99 + $1 for fish)They were busy with 2 large orders for catering but they managed to get our food out in a timely fashion. Although I do want to mention it took the server awhile before she came back to our table to grab our order. Poor girl, she was running back and forth. I appreciate the effort! So my ginger fish, really good and not too salty. They fried the fish pieces and than sauteed in a soy type sauce. I loved how crunchy and how the fish was super tender. For my side I wanted soup but they haven't made it yet. Luckily they're so good we'll definitely be back to try the soup. Lover's kung pao chicken was even better! Although it got pretty salty after a couple of bites. Going back and forth between the ginger and kung pao chicken was a perfect balance. It's worth mentioning going back for that hit of chicken always catches me off guard with how much umami flavor it carried. I want to say it tasted like *ahem msg, BUT the menu clearly states NO MSG. That's how good it was! I love everything about this restaurant so far and will definitely be back soon. A tip for parking: Super tight small parking located in the same plaza as Oli Boli donuts. You can't see it but go further back and there's more parking behind the restaurant. Do go during non peak hours. Winner winner chicken dinner!“
“It's a small quick hot pot place. We've been here a few times. Selections is a bit small but it has the essentials. It's like Mongolian bbq style where you grab a bowl, put what you want in it, and they weigh it for the price. It's easy to add too much. So less is more. The tomato soup toy is a bit too salty for my taste. So I usually get the fish based soup. It's a nice hot pot place if you're in the area.“
“China Palace 的服務很好. 雖然這家的環境很響, 不過他們的服務員的人很好,上菜也特別快. 我覺得這家餐館的蜂蜜核桃蝦, 甜甜的,鹹鹹的,好吃極了. 我還建議這家的綠色花椰菜牛肉很脆. 我覺得他們的糖醋肉太酸了.“
“I’m so happy discovering this super yummy Thai restaurant. They decorate the dishes so beautifully with fresh flowers. They also make their food fresh with no MSG.Highlights of the menu:1. Thai tea sunset2. Chaiyo chicken - specialty dish3. Thai fish cake4. Coconut shrimp5. Grilled shrimp salad6. Tom yum - lemongrass and lime broth7. Pad see ew - sweet black bean and large rice noodles8. Roasted duck in red curryAmazing service, super quick and friendly.“
“I loved: $24 Boiled White fish I really liked: $15 Fried String Beans + $23 Lamb skewers + $10 Impressive Bean Jelly + $41 Braised whole Sea Bass + $23 Fried Squid Dry Pot + Incredible #goodeats but so spicy! Clearly I liked the less spicy stuff but even so, you can tell everything here uses high quality ingredients. I'd say it's 90% as good as in China itself which is honestly impressive. Service is expected for an Asian resturant. You absolutely have to flag a waiter down. You will feel ignored if you don't do so. Same for the noise level. It's a bunch of Asian people loudly talking. We got there at 11:30 and there was plenty of seating but as soon as 12:15 rolled around, there was a wait list.“
“Called ahead a day before to place a catering tray of 50 egg rolls and 20 spring rolls. Prices as of 12/23/22: Egg rolls $0.70 Spring rolls $2.00 Asked for a 5:30 pm pickup. Order was ready when I walked in. Very nice gentleman working the front. Imagine he was the owner. Egg rolls were a hit at pot luck. This review was mainly to let people know the current prices since most of the other reviews don't mention it or are outdated.“
“Very good food, egg rolls great! Owners are very nice. Simple decor, my favorite neighborhood stop now. Food delicious!! Chicken pho was huge, wonderful flavors. So fresh. Loved the Thai corn. Look forward to trying more items.Parking: Quick parking, easy. I should walk here, it's so close to me!“
“This place is awesome if you have a hankering for Thai food in the Pasadena area. The place is small with outside seating but the food is incredibly delicious and most of all the prices are very reasonable....The service was quick, the servers were friendly and provide you with menu recommendations. I recommend the green sole fish curry and the pork with sticky rice and the vegetable egg rolls! Thank you Nine & Nine!“
“The Tustin location has introduced a new dish, after seeing it on Instagram, I couldn't resist giving it a try!Initially, I was concerned that the crispy skin might make the chicken dry, but my worries were quickly dispelled with the first bite—it was incredibly juicy!Of course, I couldn't resist ordering dumplings as well. For me, dumplings are the epitome of Chinese cuisine, so I make sure to order them every time I visit.“
“China West Express is a little hole in the wall place that just might be your best bet for Americanized Chinese food in Tustin. Although they do have a few tables inside, it is primarily a to go place. I've yet to see anyone eating inside. The to go orders are very well packed up, so much so the food will still be hot when you get it home. The place is a 15 minute drive for me. The folks who run the counter have always been very friendly and polite. The entrees are cooked to order, which is far superior to a nearby competitor's practice of serving food out of chaffing dishes. Expect about 10 minutes for your order to come out, but it could be a little longer if they are busy. No biggie. Their generously portioned Lunch Box deal is a great value. For $10.99 you get your choice of entree, your choice of chow mein or white rice, your choice of egg flower or hot and sour soup, your choice of a canned soft drink, an egg roll, and a fortune cookie. The food is good, but I don't care for their chow mein, so I go with steamed white rice. It's a good place and one of the gems of Tustin. My pics are better if you click on them.“
“The roast fish and BBQ skewers are pretty authentic. The environment is also interesting if you understand the culture. It is kinda pricey for the amount of the food. The roast fish plate looks big but it is actually not that much. Two people can spend 100 easily with some drinks.“
“Very highend Chinese restaurant, which is a rarity. Very tastefully done interior. You come here for the peking duck experience. Coming here and not ordering peking duck just doesn't make any sense. From presentation to the flavor and texture, it is beyond any other peking duck I've ever had. They even smoke a portion right at the table and it is unforgettable. Their other menu offerings are also great but a little over priced. Very professional staff.“
“I rarely comment online, but I couldn't help but do it today. I searched it on Google and saw many people commenting on the authentic Beijing cuisine. I went there with the intention of giving it a try. It really lived up to my expectations. The two of us ordered the sweet and sour pork loin, garlic sausage, and fried cauliflower recommended by others. They are all really delicious and the portion size is just right. This is the first time in the 5 years since I came to the United States that I have eaten stir-fry that I want to come back to eat again.“
“Ordered a killer combo of cucumber salad, beef roll, gyudon (Japanese beef rice bowl), and tomato prime beef noodle soup. There were great portion sizes per price, and the taste was delicious. They provided phenomenal service during a Saturday dinner hour, despite a full house and many takeout bags in the back. Mr. Jeffrey was an extravagant serviceman to us, thank you Jeffrey and Seven Grams!“
