“Fresh food, made to order, great service, good price for quality food”
“very good food and friendly staff!!! the food is pricy but very good”
“Went here for the first time with my sister who has been here several times before and Omg! Everything was incredible 🤤 we got there pretty late so the kitchen had run out of a few things but everything that we tried was so good! Very hot and fresh, we ordered several appetizers to share and I loved everything. Then the entrees came out and they were all beautifully presented, and so flavorful! This place really is a gem and I will definitely be stopping by when I’m in the area again.”
“I know this restaurant has been around for 20 years but it was my 1st time here. The food tastes authentic, service is great. Some people say the servings are small but they are actually just right. I had their lomi (for take out) and had their halo-halo, inihaw na bangus for a late lunch. Was worth the trip. Will definitely be back.”
“Tangs Haus' sign caught my eye - the name made me think it was going to be a Chinese Hofbrau. But instead a lively and delicious Korean restaurant. The house made kimchi stood out for me but everything was great. Is there anything more soothing than a bubbling sundubu and a hot bowl of rice? Make sure to save room for the Hotteok Ice Cream.”

“Good stuff. Try the fried chicken leg meal. For 14.99 you get rice, a fried egg, a whole fried chicken leg, some pickles and lettuce, a large egg roll and a small bowl of broth. The chicken was cooked nicely and everything tasted great.
The chicken is cooked to order.
This is the Chinese Vietnamese version of Jollibee, but it tastes better.
The waitresses were attentive and friendly
Will will return.”
“Chris that works there is awesome, food is good and they are accommodating”
“Muy rica y buena comida! Sabor y porciones muy buenas! El personal muy agradable y muy serviciales. El lugar bueno y limpio aunque escondido pues está en una zona de oficinas. Pero en general 💯 por 💯 recomendado 👍”
“Lamb was very tender and girthy, it was especially good raw. The lack of soda perplexed me, I gained over 25 pounds after eating here! Finally I way 440 pounds. The laterally thin rice dessert completely satisfied my cravings. The nice whitish liquid, that elicited a delicious reaction with my pink tongue, wowed my world. Overall my chakra levels increased and I can now go on to master spinjutsu! We love you Tecca! 10/10”

“The first time I came here I wanted to get their Milky Chill Quenchers in this cute bear cup they had but they didn’t have it available when I went. The owner said she will owe me one if I come back for it. I didn’t come back maybe for at least two weeks and she remember me and said they bear cup that cost an extra $5 is free. Wow what service and the fact she remember me that’s awesome. I got their Milky quencher mint chocolate flavor because I love mint flavor anything. This thing was so good it was minty but not too overpowering the milk shake which is good and I love the bear cup it came in. I really want to come back and try their UNE sandwich and another one of their drinks which they have so much of. Most definitely come here especially for a nice cool drink to escape the summer heat.”

“Nick the Greek launched its NEW Greek Frozen Yogurt! You can get it with a Chocolate Shell or Baklava on top! This is your perfect solution for this hot weather!
Fun fact: Did you know this restaurant was started by three Greek American cousins, all named Nick? You can also find high-quality, authentic Greek street food here. A great option for lunch imo.

“The one and only poke shop in Union City, they have a good variety of choice with servers who are super helpful and have great customer service. The owner was really nice as well and took time to help me pick out the right items I wanted. Highly recommend getting their salmon and spicy tuna, as the salmon is super fresh and always has the right fat to meat ratio (nice white lines). They even have a community wall to put post it notes and cute lego minifigures! Would love to see some polaroid photos too for atmosphere and string lights. Prices range from around 20 to 23 for a medium or large bowl, you just need to get as many toppings as you like to get your fill.”
“This place is a hidden gem for asian fusion tapas. My favorite skewers are the chicken skin skewers, pork belly skewers, shitake mushroom skewers, shishito peppers, bacon wrapped quail eggs, mussels in special mayo, shrimp in special cheese. Their waygu skewers are dry, I don't recommend.
They need to improve their storefront appearance to draw in more customers. Inside the ambiance is nice.”
“Went here yesterday. It was our first time trying out food here but they formerly had an old location in Fremont. We had 5 adults and 1 child so gratuity was automatically added on to bill, but well worth it. The lady I believe was the owne,r gave us a scallion pancakes on the house. Great halal food. Recommend schezuan chicken!”
“It's a 10 minute drive from where we live so we've come here way too many times. I think Sunright used to be one of the best in the bay area years ago, but now they're right around above average. Price-wise about the same as every other half decent milk tea spot and taste-wise stronger on the tea than the milk. It's lost the wow after so many visits, but somehow still always hits the spot.”

“House of Dumplings is an absolute treasure! Their dumplings are incredibly fresh, flavorful, and clearly handmade with care. Every bite is a delight, whether steamed or pan-fried. Beyond the dumplings, their other Chinese dishes are also excellent. This place is a must-visit for authentic and delicious food. Highly, highly recommend!”
“this is honestly such a cute local spot and there's a lot of people within the area and neighbors that come and hang out there - which made it so homey/cozy vibes. i stopped by recently and really enjoyed my visit. the bartenders were so fun and i had a great time interacting with them/the drinks they made were also really good! if you're in the area, definitely stop by and grab a drink or two!!”
“Family favorite! My parents have been coming to Hong Kong Restaurant in Union City for years. Authentic Chinese cuisine, fresh ingredients, and friendly service. Consistently delicious!
We always order the hot and sour soup, clay pot, salt and pepper ribs and the sweet and sour fish.
Highly recommend!”
“If you are searching for authentic, high-quality desi cuisine in Union City, Peshawari Kababs is the place to be. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the warmth and dedication that goes into every aspect of this restaurant. The kababs are a true masterpiece—perfectly marinated, juicy, and bursting with flavor. Each bite reminds you why traditional Peshawari cooking is so highly regarded.
What sets this restaurant apart is not just the food but the overall experience. Owner Muhammad Dawood has created an environment that is inviting, clean, and perfect for families and friends alike. The staff is courteous and attentive, making you feel welcomed every time you visit.
Whether you are a local or just passing through, Peshawari Kababs is a must-visit. The combination of authentic flavors, quality ingredients, and exceptional service makes it one of the top culinary destinations in Union City. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates genuine, mouth-watering desi cuisine!”
“L&L Hawaiian Barbecue always delivers on delicious, authentic Hawaiian flavors! Their plate lunches are incredibly satisfying, with generous portions of perfectly cooked meat and macaroni salad. The Katsu Chicken and BBQ Mix are my go-to's. It's a taste of Hawaii right here, and the service is always friendly and efficient. Highly recommend!”
“Food is very good. However, I rather they told me the truth instead of steering me into something else. It appeared that they don't have 2 lbs or more lobsters. So, they BS about 2 one lb lobsters would provide better meat quantity and that the meat in a 2 lb lobsters would be tougher. You will get more shell and more elbow joints that are difficult to handle. Instead, just order something else. Anyhow, the lobsters over noodles were nicely cooked and were extremely tasty. So were the surf clams over cellophane noodles. The rest of the dishes were also good except for the salt and pepper pork chops. They were tasty but the chops used were too thick. Desserts were not warm/hot enough.
Service was generally good. Near the end, the waiters were, as if by concerted efforts, ignoring our wavings to get our teapots filled.
The tables were not too jam-packed as other Chinese restaurants.”
“It’s my first visit here. I loved the rice casserole and the fried pork ribs. The rice casserole was very authentic and delicious, just like the best ones I had in China.
The place was clean and the service was great. The manager answered my questions and when she saw there’s oil on my hands, she got me a paper napkin before I asked. I was very grateful!”

“Elegant, delicious, truly artisan donuts. The unique flavors and beautiful products show off a love for the craft of baking that goes far beyond mere donuts. I highly recommend Doughweime for any time that your sweet tooth is active, but especially for special occasions when you want your desserts to stand out. Awesome!”
“Ordered the Lion King sushi as an appetizer along with two soups to share 🍣🥢. One soup size was larger than the other. The sushi was tasty, and the soups were great for sharing 🍲. It also came
With white rice and small portions of pickled veggies. My favorite was the pickled zucchini. I really enjoyed the cozy booth seating, plus the background music and concert videos playing in the background 🎶🎥. A great touch. Service was attentive and there was plenty of parking.”
“Yesenia is a recipe genius! Every dish I've tried from her blog has been a hit. Her recipes are easy to follow and always turn out delicious. If you're looking for foolproof recipes that will impress your taste buds, she's your go-to. Maltese local dishes .. elevated, sophisticated, just perfect!”
“Went this morning Tuesday around 9am it wasn’t busy at all. Plenty of parking. It smelled great. Lots of options. Most items $2.50 each. I got a few different things: concha’s, cookies and corner sponge cake. The corner sponge cake I am sure that’s not its actual name but that’s my to go Mexican bakery item. It’s was delicious. The perfect combination of sweetness and freshness. Not dry at all spongee and hits the sugar craving needs without over powered sweetness. Will come back. Only reason I’d not give it a 5 star was person who helped me out was very serious and not welcoming at all. They make delicious baked goods. Check it out. Maybe next time I go I’ll get a smile.”
“First time here. Great pizza! Will come back again. Did take-out. It was going to take 20 mins to bake so got there right about the time it was ready. Unfortunately there was a long line. (I figured that was a good sign though so was fine waiting.) My bad for not realizing it was lunch hour so it might be busy. So 20 mins later finally got my pizza. Will remember for next time.”

“This is a nice Thai BBQ place. We got Phad See-Ew with chicken, Chef's Special Seafood Combo Plate which came with Shrimps, scallops, mussels, squid. Fried shrimp & fried calamari, with a chicken fried rice. Everything was good except I felt the fried calamari and fried shrimp had to much breading on them we ended taking some of the breading off. Overall everything had good flavor, also the prices listed online are not the correct prices in store.”
“One of the tastiest ramen I have had in my life!
5 year update: I am a vegetarian, and I still maintain my original rating. There are only two vegetarian selections, but it's enough. It's quality over quantity, which matters.
I am a regular here, I go there once a week, of I can manage it.”
“As a ramen expert, I can tell you this place is very authentic. Only exception is the red ginger, which is American. This place is what I expect for Ramen, the majority elsewhere, you're paying for industrial noodles. I was skeptical at first because this area has a lot of fakes, but it's legit.
The best part of this restaurant is the noodles. They're definitely made fresh, hand crafted, and inhouse. You're getting your money's worth. Unlike the lower end places that charge premium.
The Ginjo soup is super thick and rich. It's essentially straight up a bowl of tsukemen, not necessarily the traditional tori paitan, but ultimately it's good.
I highly recommend this ramen, in that area, it's definitely the best within 10 miles radius, nothing is better.”

“Great value and good flavor overall. The stewed meats like lengua were super tender and rich—definitely the highlight. The grilled options (tripa, asada, al pastor) were just okay; tripa could’ve been crispier, and the others lacked that seared depth.
The restaurant is clean, and service is solid, though it’s mostly self-serve—order at the counter and grab your own salsas and drinks. Easy, no-fuss setup that works. I’d come back and stick with the braised meats.”

“Sheng Kee Bakery is a wonderful spot for delicious Asian pastries and baked goods. Their bread is always soft and fresh, and their sweet and savory buns are incredibly tempting. I love picking up their pineapple buns and egg tarts. Even when it's 'as busy as it gets,' the service is efficient, and the quality is consistently excellent. A perfect place for a treat!”
“The food here was phenomenal!! Our order was taken by the restaurant grandpa, and he was the sweetest. He literally walks away, and two minutes later, our food is at our table. The broth was delicious. Some of the best we have had around this area. And then best part is, it was affordable.”
“I really like this Filipino bakery shop because it has a bunch of goodies especially the empanadas. My parents always order them whenever they pass by here. It's also a good location since this area has a lot of Filipino places here like the restaurants and bakeries. It's really a good place to stop by if you're hungry or something.”

“ordered a 32 piece and were not disappointed! got Nashville hot and santa fe. Nashville wasn't very hot but still tasty. wings were great size and cooked perfectly. so juicy. fries also good. just needed a tad more seasoning. 8 out of 10 will order again!”

“This place is actually underrated! The burrito bowl is delicious and I've seen other dishes that looked tasty. Also I think google need to recreate the star rating because if the food is delicious but I didn't like how the bathroom didn't have hand soup. The restaurant doesn't deserve 1 star for that. I'm reading reviews for 1 &2 stars and I'm going that's not 1 or 2 star worthy. That's petty”
“great vibe and i loved the homemade boba. Popcorn chicken was ok. the basil wasnt very crunchy and the chicken wasnt seasoned enough. the batter was seasoned and chili was sprinkled on top but the chicken itself tasted like it just came out of the butcherwrap. will try more of the menu again, there are a lot of other foods that look amazing”
“My experience was a mixed bag. The food was undeniably delicious, but my interaction with a male matured server/cashier left a sour taste in my mouth.
All the dishes were truly impressive. Each bite was a flavor explosion and equally scrumptious. The place knows what it's doing.
However, things took a turn for the worse when this matured server/cashier came over to my table. While I appreciate enthusiasm, this owner's brand of passion crossed into intrusive territory. He dominated the conversation. The real kicker came when he started micromanaging my dining experience, insisting I order fewer dishes and serve them on plastic containers. He said I wouldn’t be able to eat them all. I order two dishes so I can take it to go. I replied to him I could’ve eaten at McDonalds, but I want to eat on real plates and use real utensils.
Newsflash: if I'm capable of using a fork without guidance, let me enjoy my meal in peace!
While the food was great, the server/owner's overbearing demeanor put a damper on what could have been a fantastic dining experience. If Toppings Two Union City can work on striking a balance between attentive service and respecting customers' boundaries, I'd be more than happy to give them a glowing review. Until then, I'll recommend the food, but with a caveat: be prepared for a side of attitude.”
“I stop by Mountain Mike’s Pizza with a friend for lunch and we were both impressed by an outstanding pizza experience that was hard to beat.
From the moment we walked in, the welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff made us feel right at home. The restaurant is clean, spacious, and perfect for both a work lunch and casual outings with friends.
I am a pizza lover and have tried all different kinds pizzas around the world. The pizza at place was simply exceptional. We ordered a combo speciality pizza and a buffalo wings. The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside and delightfully chewy on the inside, providing the ideal base for their delicious toppings. The toppings came with generous portions of fresh, high-quality ingredients that ensures every bite was delightful. The wings were crispy outside, juicy and tender inside. They were well cooked. We also ordered the draft beer, it was so fresh.
In addition to the fantastic food, the service at restaurant was top-notch. The staff was attentive, courteous, and always ready to accommodate special requests. The overall dining experience was smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommended!”
“Tucked away in the hood of Hayward, you’ve got this lil nice family run restaurant that’s out of this world! The customer service here is unmatched to the point I thought I was a in michelin restaurant. The chinese cashier makes sure your food come out piping hot and deliciously fantasia. With the flick of the wrist and the spin of the heel, your food comes out in the blink of an eye. And now that’s what I called customer service ??”
“First-rate environment and very friendly service. The meals were fresh and delicious. Will surely recommend this spot to friends and family. Reasonable rates and big meals. Good job.”
“All I can say is ??? Wow!!! Came in for supper and was DELIGHTED To the sounds of a live band!!!! Awesome sounds and really down homey tasting food. Will definitely. Be back!!!!!”

“The seniorita bread was FRESH out of the oven. I ate one immediately and burned my fingers but it was worth it. It was the perfect amount of sweetness and butter and so soft and pillowy. It's hard to only eat one. It's even better when dipping it in coffee so makes a great breakfast treat. They also have donuts but I only wanted seniorita bread at this time. I will be coming by more often. It's baffling that this place is rated less than 4.5 stars. I think most of the reviews are from people who have never even been here, or are just upset about being asked to wear a mask, which is ridiculous considering the store is very small and it is not a bad precaution to require.Either way, when I came here, I was not asked to wear a mask. Although they do ask only one customer or party inside at a time, again- not a bad precaution since the place is very small. I personally would not want to be rubbing elbows with people in such close distance, pandemic or not, it's more about personal space for me.I guess people are unlucky or sensitive when it comes to their service here, because I was helped by a woman who was extremely kind. She even asked if it was ok that the 12 piece senorita bread I got was in a bag opposed to a box. Im fine with a bag since I'm gonna inhale the bread within a few days. There's also a sign that mentions 12 piece or less is in a bag so I appreciated that she reiterated the fact.Support Filipino businesses!”
“I'm fascinated with this I-Hop. The last time I went, I was very disappointed. The service was terrible. The waitress even yelled at me because I told her she'd gotten my order wrong. But... I went back last Sunday, and believe me, I barely waited for my table. There are more employees now, and EVERYONE is really friendly, very attentive, and truly makes you feel welcome. A big round of applause for the staff. I highly recommend it. You'll be very well taken care of. It's located in Union City, CA 94587 (Union Landing).”
