Start off with an empty cup, move along the diverse range of flavors, and mix and match to your heart's content. The portions are impressively generous, ensuring you get value for your money. The cherry on top? The vast assortment of nuts you can sprinkle on your treat. Since the price is determined by weight, you have the freedom to go light or indulge a bit. “Very busy café for the “in-crowd” in the Los Feliz area with plentiful indoor and outdoor seating.Upon staff recommendation, I tried the chocolate chip bread pudding- which was absolutely massive and delicious! Not the best bargain at $10, but I’d say it was worth it and probably could have been shared with another person. There is also a bar in the room adjacent to the coffee shop/bakery, which was also very busy.Neat place to get delicious food and drinks, get some work done, or just sit and people watch.“

“My fiancé and I have put Mazal in our rotation of FAVORITE places. It's not just the food, but since it's yelp..... THE FOOD: I'm new to the vegetarian lifestyle, and started reluctantly under doctor's orders. Mazal has been a revelation! Tal and his staff prepare vegetarian dishes that taste amazing because they were always intended to be vegetarian! Fresh fennel salad, hearty beats with cumin, silky humus and baba ganoush. And mushrooms so perfectly grilled that they taste - dare I say - MEATY, like a mushroom should! So yes, the food is supurb. But that's not the reason we come back. Nor is it the reason we decided to celebrate our recent engagement with them. Mazal feels like a home. The decor is warm, the patio is beautiful and spacious, and Hanni, Tal, and the rest of the staff are kind and welcoming. So, I suggest you come for the food, stay for the people, and come back for both.“

“"Sippin from your cup 'til it runneth over..." I heard JT performed at the Wiltern last night for free so I had his music on repeat in my head all day today during work. So of course I had to stop by here as soon as I saw the store name. I did NOT expect to find the best donuts I've ever had in my life. Period. I walked in and was greeted warmly and decided to just order the Original Sin and their version of classic milk. They were so nice and gave me another donut for free which was the Obrama. Everything was so scrumptious. I loved that the donuts weren't too big. The quality of the donut is so good that it only needs to be a smaller size to have the same effect as something larger. The outer texture and the crispness reminded me of the blueberry m&m donuts that they sell in OC where people line up for hours to buy. The donuts here taste better because the inside texture is a lot lighter and isn't as dense so you don't feel disgustingly full afterwards with regrets. I cannot wait to come back and get some for my family and friends. I wanted to test it out myself first prior to sharing with others. Yum! Also their classic milk was soooooo good and complimented the donuts so perfectly.“

“let me start by saying this is the BEST vegan Ethiopian food i've ever had. i have frequented a lot of Ethiopian restaurants and the veggie platter combos just don't compare to Berbere. the atmosphere is so calming and refreshing and the ambiance is amazing. the staff were quick and efficient as well as attentive without being annoying. the food was served fresh AND hot and the flavors will excite a party in your tummy!! i went here with my mom and we shared everything. to start i ordered the et tacos and let me tell you the reviews for the tacos were right on the money. i never thought id like a taco that wasn't traditional but these made me rethink tacos as a whole. the flavors were so powerful and delicious. honestly it's just best if you're reading this to just try them. no amount of words can describe the flavors. for the main dish, we ordered the eat the rainbow with red lentils, yellow garbanzo beans, purple cabbage and potatoes, and kale. although i loved everything the KALE was the star of the show. it really surprised me how freaking delicious it was. i mean it was tangy but also seasoned just right. cooked to perfection if i do say so myself. to drink we both ordered the blackberry (could've been blueberry not sure?) mint lemonade and it was refreshing. i didn't feel guilty drinking it at all. for dessert i ordered the sublime confection and it was superb!! it's an interesting dessert to describe but it had banana and chocolate and ice cream and that was enough for me to order. the banana was not overwhelming either. i ended off dinner with a hot cacao and i burned my tongue so badly but it was so good i didn't even mind it. the cacao was so rich and thick. it was a nice treat to end a wonderful dinner. all in all our experience here was everything and more. i cannot wait to go back soon because it's right near my job two blocks away. side note: it is on the pricier side but i promise you won't feel robbed or cheated the portions AND the flavors are worth every damn penny. berbere is a 10000/10.“

That thing was amazing, i was only supposed to take a bite cause i had 3 other flavors to try but Nope couldn't do it, i ate the whole thing. It had a chewy caramel center with gooey milk chocolate and crispy rice crispy's on the outside. Street parking available, they accepted cards and staff was very helpful. The hostess checked in with each person waiting to be seated multiple times-you don’t see that very much in most places. A good vibe inside and the atmosphere is nice also. Even though we were early, we still did have to wait almost 15min beyond our rez to be seated but, we were delighted when they offered to bring us an appetizer because they were sorry we had to wait so long. “I had been hearing a lot of good things about the food here so I finally made my way into Silverlake to check it out. As you are probably already aware, this is a take out or delivery restaurant. You cannot dine in here. You actually can't even enter the building. The front door is a two piece door and when they are open for business, the top part of the door will be open. You order from there and then wait on the sidewalk for your order to be ready. You can also call in an order in advance or use various delivery services. There was not anyone waiting to order when I got there so I was able to walk directly up to the door and immediately order. I had to wait approximately 10 minutes for my order to be prepared and in those 10 minutes they got very busy. Six people came up to pickup phone or delivery orders during that time and those pickups went very quickly. A line began to form to order during that time and when I left with my order there were 5 other people who had placed others and were now waiting for their orders to be prepared and an additional 7 other people waiting in line to place orders. They prepare their food quickly but keep in mind, they need to cook the food after you place your order. If there is already a line to place your order and people waiting for their food to finish cooking, all of that will add to the amount of time it will take before your order has been prepared. If you are in a hurry and need your order quickly, perhaps you should consider another restaurant such as a fast food restaurant. They do prepare the food as quickly as they can but keep in mind, you will wait approximately 5 to 10 minutes at a minimum and the more people you see standing around out front will add to that wait time. Is it worth the wait? Oh yes, it is worth it. I had the popcorn chicken, Summer Rolls and the Caramelized Pork. The Popcorn chicken and its dipping sauce was a real treat for the taste buds. The chicken is double fried but is not dry on the inside and the dipping sauce has the perfect bite of spices to it. The summer rolls are huge. Your choice of protein or vegetables only. They really could be a meal within themselves and the vegetables were very fresh with lots of vegetable crunch in every bite. The Caramelized Pork came with sticky rice and cooked with hard boiled eggs. It was as good as it sounds (which is very good). The portion sizes were very good with my order easily being enough for two people with some leftovers. Truly, the summer rolls are so large that you cannot help but have leftovers. Parking can be very tricky here. There are yellow painted loading zones in front of the restaurant and the mom & pop grocery store next door so if you are just picking up an order that had already been placed, you shouldn't have a problem. You may find yourself desperately looking for a place to park though. Keep that in mind but don't let that scare you off. You will be thankful for the effort you put in when you are finally home and enjoying the fruits of your troubles. BTW, I hear that their Bahn Mi sandwiches are so good. I look forward to trying that next time.“

I got the single scoop and it's a good amount of serving but I should have gotten a double scoop for sure! If you love chocolate ice cream and Oreos, then this is the perfect flavor for you. Although, there is a hint of coconut in the aftertaste in case you're not too huge on coconut. But the actual flavor overpowers it. We went late at night but the service was still good! You have to be careful not to miss the window it's right next to a small coffee shop. There's a few chairs around to sit after or you can walk around and see the other shops around. “We came here for Easter Sunday brunch yesterday. It’s a cute restaurant with friendly staff. However, I expected the food to taste better…I ordered their classic breakfast pizza suggested by the server. First of all, it looked great. I’m not a fan of the fake bacon because it tastes like paper. After the first couple of bites, I realized the pizza was barely edible because of the amount of big rosemary leaves added in the pizza dough. I had to hand picked them out of the pizza to avoid tasting the ‘soapy’ rosemary flavor… and I love rosemary in general. Just not THIS MUCH. I asked my friends to also taste my pizza and they all told me I should send it back.Luckily, our server took it back right away and gave me the option to change to a different pizza. The second pizza I ordered was margarita pizza. It was pretty blend. But at least edible.I do need to say their menu is probably a hit or miss. My friends ordered the breakfast burritos that they enjoyed a lot. Which is why I’m leaving it 4 stars.Note: very limited street parking and $20 valet parking.Parking: Very limited street parking and $20 valet parking.“

“4 assorted donuts / 1 glazed, 1 reese peanut butter, 1 cinnamon sugar o-nut (cronut), 1 nutella strawberry o-nut - 5 ⭐!DK's Donut & Bakery in Santa Monica is an excellent, family-owned 24-hour donut shop and cafe that has been in business for over forty years. They have a mouth-watering selection of fresh donuts, including an impressive assortment of cronut inspired donuts.Their little shop is in a small strip mall in Santa Monica. I had no trouble finding parking right outfront. The shop has a colorful, pink-focused theme. They had an outstanding selection of donuts on display in their glass cases as well as a nice, large menu board offering up all kinds of snacks, drinks, and sandwiches. The four donuts I sampled on my visit to DK's were fantastic. It was honestly a very hard decision. I had to limit myself to four because when I buy donuts, I have very little self control and know I am going to eat them all the same day. Besides, donuts are always best when they are fresh. The strawberry nutella cronut style donut was amazing. Lots of rich, hazelnut spread flavor mixed with strawberry. The plain glazed donut was top notch. I always try to get a plain glaze and use it as a baseline. A great plain glaze donut is always a treat for me. The cinnamon sugar cronut and the peanut butter cup donut were also great.I know there are other "DK" donut places out there. This one is a real treat and I think it is the OG one. If you are in Santa Monica or are passing by, make sure you stop by and support a great local business!“

“The food is not only delicious but visually appealing and suited the atmosphere of a restaurant inside of an art museum. We started our meal with the cheese plate and tuna carpaccio both of which were an amazing first course. I then ordered the pan seared cod and my girlfriend ordered the octopus. Both were cooked to perfection and full of rich flavors and complimentary accoutrements. Finally to finish our meal we ordered a serving of ice cream which is always a good choice and the Cloud de Maron. The latter of which was not only visually stunning but also deliciously decadent. You can tell that folks in the kitchen really care by how perfectly cooked and meticulously plated everything is. The front of the house was no different. I never felt rushed and the staff was friendly and attentive. 10/10 will definitely return.Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian options are available and they are willing to accommodate any dietary restrictions if they are given advance notice.“

“I have accidentally found the greatest toast in all of America. I was here to meet some friends for an event and thought I’d pop in for a quick bite. I ordered the avocado toast thinking it would be an unremarkable snack. Have you ever experienced something so above and beyond expectation you wonder if you’re on a hidden camera show? This toast is that good. Toppings were fresh, seasoning was on point, and the toast was perfectly soft but toasty. Also ordered the Michelle Wi which lemonade and black tea. Great atmosphere, really friendly staff, nice patio and neighborhood parking nearby. Would it be rude if I ordered another toast? Actually considering it.“

“The greatest cookies I’ve ever had and it’s setup at a gas station! Amazing cookies and the selection is way more than expected.I had the walnut gooie, cloud 9, the chunkie and the chocolate oatie. All four were delicious and had its own distinctive style. They lived up to the “gooie” expectation and were really filling. I think two cookies were enough to get me good & the others were extra credit. Load up on napkins and the customer service was great.Just be aware the gas station didn’t have whole milk, just 2% but all the cookies were still phenomenal by themselves. I’d definitely come back again to try their other menu items.“

The food was delicious... we had the avo/beet salad and Caccio e Pepe along with the avo toast appetizer and the blueberry cobbler for dessert. Sitting to note, their happy hour is well worth showing up early for... we did dirty martinis for $10!! The service was on point- Kenny was a gracious host who made us feel cared for! “A cookie store that seams to like to take things to the next level. They don't have your plain cookie choices. The chocolate chip option has 3 kinds of special chocolates. Some choices made with duck eggs, lots of vegan choices. Almost anything you can dream of they made a cookie out of it.All the cookies are hand made, hand mixed and custom made by actual bakers not machines. They are very large cookies, very soft and not dry.Even though they have cookie in the name they seam to be equally famous for their expresso, coffees and milk shakes. The milkshake come custom with pieces of their cookies crumbled inside which they go grab fresh from the back. They have a good selection of Gelato which was very good. And how can you beat Gelato and a cookie. There was indoor seating and outdoor seating as well. Staff seam very friendly and loved to talk about their baking process. They will tell you how everything is handmade and made fresh to order. Brag how everything is hand mixes so you don't get the machine melting to chocolate or leaving uneven mixes for the batter. The Staff does a good job talking up the cookies and the cookies live up to the hype.If you are staying in some of the higher end Beverly hills hotels you can ask the front desk if they have any of the cookies available, as they seam to be the go to cookie for the big hotels to display in their lobbies. If they have run out, stopping by the store is a must stop while in town.Parking: Lots of parking options. Closest is paid street parking. Depending on the time of day you can park right in front of the store. There is a parking garage about a block away with free 2 hour parking or a parking lot a block the other direction offers free parking for the grocery store but a good choice for a quick cookie stop.Kid-friendliness: Lots of cookie, Gelato, milkshake options. The milkshakes are real cookie pieces which kids seam to find extra exciting.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp at the entrance and easy to move around store“
