“I have been here 4 times already since grand opening on Aug 10th! It's a nice, simple place with great breakfast and lunch foods. Open Monday thru Saturday. Closed Sundays! I like the falafel sandwich, baklava, French croissant, and chicken hummus plate! Coffee they make is good! Stop by and try!!!”

“The food and quality are consistently good. We always get cold and hot sandwiches and are very pleased. They have the best chicken salad sandwich around; I live a little distance away and I'm always looking for excuses to go to Upland to get a chicken salad sandwich!

Service is good. My only complaint is that whoever takes phone orders should repeat the order back before hanging up because my sandwich recently didn't come the way I ordered it. I take partial responsibility because I should have requested that the woman taking my order read it back to me. Lesson learned for next time. I will definitely be back!”

“Delicious ice cream! This was our first time here, my husband, our friend and I had three small ice cream cups and we were pleasantly surprised on the size. We were celebrating my birthday, But a perfect way to end the evening, we are so glad we found this place! If you are in Upland area I highly recommend checking it out!”

“Friendly service when you call on the phone... although there might be a slight chance of 'lost in translation' I had asked for Oolong Lemon Iced Tea and when I got there it was Jasmine Green Tea with Lemon but turns out it was delicious and refreshing so HA!!!

I used to drive by this place all the time and the few times I attempted to go they were closed, and last week I worked late on Friday and tried to call in an order around 8:45PM, google page has hours closed at 10:00pm - this is incorrect they close at 9:00pm. So I couldn't get something to eat as I was driving from work (Riverside) and wouldn't make it in time.

So last night I worked late and thought I would try them again. I ordered the Eggrolls I wanted the traditional Vietnamese ones but I got the Shrimp Eggrolls instead (not a biggie) and the Cream Cheese Rangoons... after I placed my order they called back almost immediately to say they were out of the Rangoons so I ordered the Pork Banh Mi (pronounced barn me) instead - HOLD ON TO YOUR HATS cuzzzz Honnneyyyyyyy

That Banh Mi was so goshdurn delicious!! so good in fact that I didn't manage to take a photo LOL it was wrapped in hardy white (sandwich) paper with all the trimmings (pickled Julienne carrots, daikon, cilantro and jalapenos) in a ziplock and LET (hand clap) ME (hand clap) TELL (hand clap) YOU!! that french bread was perfecto! I really am sorry I didn't pause long enough to capture it but OH well next time I'll be sure to do so ((smile)).

Parking lot was empty but I got there slightly before closing so it figures. There were 2 people sitting eating and they had an entire booth full of food in front of them that looked and smelled AMAZING. I'm happy to have found another 'comfort food' spot so close to home. BTW the young lady at the bar was so nice but the 3 people that worked there that were near the exit when I left never said "Bye or Thank you for coming" - and you KNOW I'm in Hospitality and every impression counts I'm ultra aware.

I had the Rosemary Bergamot Latte with an extra shot of Espresso and it was one of the best coffee drinks I’ve ever had… Absolute Perfection! Surprisingly, their everything croissant style pastry was filled with cream cheese and also delicious!”

“I've come to this location quite a bit at every time of day (not all in one day). I always get great service. Getting a quick breakfast before teaching 9th and then 12th graders was always enjoyable. The employees were kind and the food was good.

There manager (Lita I believe) was accommodating when an error was made and let me talk about my distaste for chocolate shakes. Very patient, which is greatly appreciated. I may be only ~25, but I just ramble on anywhere I go.

There's also a man who works very quickly (very noticeable) that I see sometimes. He's nice and makes you feel certain that my food and shakes are on the way.

I don't have bad experiences here, the quality is what I expect and I always appreciate everyone's effort and kindness.

And as always, I recommend the app, this location, and leaving a review. I always forget, so hopefully this sheds light on the service.”

“Good day, I would like to recognize three Jack teammates; Vanessa, Jennifer, and Jonathan. Vanessa was the one that actually serviced at the drive thur. But it was a team effort. They make a great team! Jennifer handed me my food ... and she did a wonderful job ...refreshing to receive service with a smile. And when I didn't like my drink Jonathan stepped in and made a suggestion...never knew Jack and a Box had unsweetened raspberry Ice T. It was really a great experience. “As everyone knows unless you have been living under a rock, sorry Patric. Cost of everything has gone up, food, gas prices you name it it’s up. So it’s should not be a shock to anyone that fast food is in that same boat. I am happy to say Petrilli’s Pizza does not fall into that category. They are a hard working small local pizza joint that does not skimp on their toppings. This place has not changed sense they first opened. If you doubt me, give it a try. Order the Petrilli’s specialty pizza and say there’s not enough toppings, I dare you. As a local in Ontario we have to support our local businesses or they will be gone.”

“My husband and I have been to The Back Abbey in Claremont, but we recently came to the one in Upland for the first time.

We came during the weekend when they have their brunch menu available. A plus for us is that they have an outdoor patio that's dog friendly. We arrived a little after 10:00am with two of our dogs. We were immediately greeted and told that we could pick any table we wanted.

There's actually a very nice view from the outdoor patio. We were trying to eat a little cleaner after the holidays so we both got water and both ordered the Steak Salad ($18.00) and added avocado for an additional charge. The Steak Salad comes with grilled beef tenderloin, mixed greens, peppadew peppers, red onions, and feta cheese dressed in sun-dried tomato vinagrette. It was very good.

Our server checked on us several times, refilled our waters, and asked if our dogs wanted a water bowl. They had a lot of items on their brunch menu that sounded really good so next time, I will have to try more items.”

“Had this for dinner last night with some friends after hearing about this place online and it was honestly as good as In N Out is, but with much better fries! The double cheeseburger was really good, the fries were much better than I expected and were seasoned pretty well. There wasn't even a line when we ordered the food, and the price was really reasonable for everything we got! I'll definitely be back! They have been around forever and I can definitely see why that is! Please don't change a thing!”

“A+ business. Drive thru is very quick and easy. Staff is very kind and helpful. Verh thorough. I eat here maybe 2 or 3 times a week and have never had a problem with anything here.

Kid-friendliness: Good kids menu. They provide booster seats if needed. The servers are very good with kids. I watched one of the female servers bring a 5 year old boy his sandwich with a candle in it lit snd sang him happy birthday because when he had first came in with his family he was crying and upset. I'm not sure why he was upset buy she saw that and then heard it was his birthday and then did that. He went from sad to happy snd bashful quick. And didn't shed another tear for the rest of his time there. I wish i would have got her name. I would have definitely left a good review just for her to her manager. I'm sure the manager is aware of her excellent and over the top great customer service thing.
