“Not only was the food very good but I give a shout-out to the staff for keep it very professional when a customer was making a scene and being very rude. Our food came out very fast and was hot when we got it even though they were very busy!!“
“First time stopping by here after work. I started at the bar to order some happy hour drinks and appetizers and then moved on to a table with friends. The bartender and server at the table were great. The atmosphere inside was very chill, not too crowded, and had people from every walk of life. I would definitely be coming back. My only thing was the chicken wings I ordered were supposed to be salt and pepper but came out with little to no seasoning. I did try the fries, and they were decent.“
“We live in Pinole and I'm so excited to have discovered this awesome neighborhood pub! The vibe is super laid-back in the food is outstanding. They have a full bar and a nice selection of beers on tap. The brussels sprouts were amazing and the burger really hit the spot, not to mention the wedge salad was to die for! “Just like most of the other reviews say this course has a great layout! That is the best part of the course for sure. The driving range is grass not mats which is a huge plus! The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The cons are maintenance is lacking. Par 3 tee boxes look like a war zone and near impossible to find a comfortable place to stand that doesn't have one or both feet partially in divots. Fairways are ok but not great. Greens roll pretty good but don't look very good. The worst part of this place however is the "grille". I can honestly say of any golf course I've ever played including some courses which are far worse than this course, Hiddenbrooke has the worst food I've ever seen. Staff is friendly and it isn't their fault it's the management to even allow such a horrible menu/quality of food. It's really bad. I had a chicken Caesar wrap thinking that would be the safest of the 5 or so options and I was worried the rest of the day I would be sick from it. Still giving 5 stars because I would come back to play the course again as it has a fun layout. If this course were maintained better and had a decent food option I would pay twice as much to play it. Since it doesn't I would definitely not pay over $50 with cart and probably won't play unless it's a $40 or less deal.“
