The broth is extremely bland and could barely be considered pho. If I had to guess, maybe it's because they get their ingredients from Seafood City and they're missing some key stock ingredients (off the top of my head, some decent star anise and black cardamom would've been nice in this stock)That being said, it's Vallejo, you gotta make do with what you got, and it could be worse. Reading some of the reviews that left fewer stars because of attitude/service makes me laugh. If you're a true foodie you know that when it comes to a lot of ethnic places, the sweet spot for finding the delicious hole in the wall restaurants are the ones with three stars, because many people will take away from them because of the service, even though the food is Top-tier. Service was good. But prices went way up since last time I was here. I usually get the #27 small and fresh spring roll. Everything tasted fresh and was hot for the cold weather. Service was good and fast.
