“I wanted to try a different Salvadorean restaurant, loved the name, and did a field trip here for their pupusas. The gentleman serving was really nice, bilingual, of course, and the pupusas came out fast. The curtido was good, but I was really taken back by the greenery surrounding the front of the property. It's a great spot for dates, hangouts, or casual lunch. Don't sleep on the empanadas. ??☕️ Vegetarian options: YesDietary restrictions: Some customizationParking: BacklotKid-friendliness: YesWheelchair accessibility: Yes, seats are removable“
“Im from LA and was in Vallejo to do a job site only to come to Rinconcito Salvadoreño and have some of the best food I’ve ever tasted! Definitely5 star restaurant! I came here with my girlfriend and Got a Tamal de Elote & a Tamal de pollo ??? The empanada is more like a dessert but was still pretty good & the pastelitos are empanadas but with ground beef and that was pretty fire??? too! And me and my girlfriend got a pupusa revuelta and a pollo one and man you can’t go wrong with either or!“
“Returned a second time and it was well worth it. The food is spot on. I really enjoyed the beef soup that was delightful! And our server was outstanding. Our food came out in a very good time. She returned several times to make sure everything was going well. Kudos to the food and service!“
“If you’re looking for a meal that feels like “homemade”, this is a great place to satisfy your craving. Staff seems energetic, polite and respectful, and they even ask if you’re allergic to any of the ingredients on the food you ask for which is not very common, that way they put your health first. Prices are reasonable and the taste is great. When you’re done eating your main meal, you can get some pastries right there as well and they’re worth it.“
“The Salvadorian / Mexican provides home cooking type dishes for an affordable price. It has a decent selection which includes seafoods steaks and chickens, however sometimes the meats come out a little dry. However if you stick to their specialties of pupusas and other Niche dishes then you should be in the clear for a good meal at a good price.“
“Drive there. It took one hour. Interesting roads and real hard to find since it’s behind main road and the good thing that I got parking in front of the establishment. The bread there was very delicious. The store atmosphere was good and the service was quick and they were very friendly. I’ll definitely take the road trip again to buy more pan fresco to enjoy with my Minions.Parking: Plenty of places to parkKid-friendliness: They were super patient with my Minions in picking there favorite pastry choice.“
“Food was delicious and super authentic. I had the Plato típico with pupusas and plátanos. The horchata was also on point. Service was great, the woman behind the counter/in kitchen does it all! Super attentive and kind. Food took a little long but worth the wait! The dine in area is small and mixed with random things they sell, from shampoos to ES jerseys. Very mom and pop spot, feels a bit more set up for to go orders.“
