“This is a small casual spot but with very good and flavorful Filipino food. The service was straightforward and the menu is varied. Not the best spot for vegetarians, as this cuisine is pretty meat heavy, though there is a very nice tofu adobo. From the lumpia to the lechón, it was all fire. I’d absolutely come back to try other menu items.Vegetarian options: Really only a small handful of vegetarian options, mainly tofu based. Even the best rice dish has chicken fat oil.“

“I had been hearing a lot of good things about the food here so I finally made my way into Silverlake to check it out. As you are probably already aware, this is a take out or delivery restaurant. You cannot dine in here. You actually can't even enter the building. The front door is a two piece door and when they are open for business, the top part of the door will be open. You order from there and then wait on the sidewalk for your order to be ready. You can also call in an order in advance or use various delivery services. There was not anyone waiting to order when I got there so I was able to walk directly up to the door and immediately order. I had to wait approximately 10 minutes for my order to be prepared and in those 10 minutes they got very busy. Six people came up to pickup phone or delivery orders during that time and those pickups went very quickly. A line began to form to order during that time and when I left with my order there were 5 other people who had placed others and were now waiting for their orders to be prepared and an additional 7 other people waiting in line to place orders. They prepare their food quickly but keep in mind, they need to cook the food after you place your order. If there is already a line to place your order and people waiting for their food to finish cooking, all of that will add to the amount of time it will take before your order has been prepared. If you are in a hurry and need your order quickly, perhaps you should consider another restaurant such as a fast food restaurant. They do prepare the food as quickly as they can but keep in mind, you will wait approximately 5 to 10 minutes at a minimum and the more people you see standing around out front will add to that wait time. Is it worth the wait? Oh yes, it is worth it. I had the popcorn chicken, Summer Rolls and the Caramelized Pork. The Popcorn chicken and its dipping sauce was a real treat for the taste buds. The chicken is double fried but is not dry on the inside and the dipping sauce has the perfect bite of spices to it. The summer rolls are huge. Your choice of protein or vegetables only. They really could be a meal within themselves and the vegetables were very fresh with lots of vegetable crunch in every bite. The Caramelized Pork came with sticky rice and cooked with hard boiled eggs. It was as good as it sounds (which is very good). The portion sizes were very good with my order easily being enough for two people with some leftovers. Truly, the summer rolls are so large that you cannot help but have leftovers. Parking can be very tricky here. There are yellow painted loading zones in front of the restaurant and the mom & pop grocery store next door so if you are just picking up an order that had already been placed, you shouldn't have a problem. You may find yourself desperately looking for a place to park though. Keep that in mind but don't let that scare you off. You will be thankful for the effort you put in when you are finally home and enjoying the fruits of your troubles. BTW, I hear that their Bahn Mi sandwiches are so good. I look forward to trying that next time.“

“Fantastic restaurant! They are known, as the name in Korean suggests, for their cheonggukjang (fermented soybean stew). Absolutely delicious. The staff working here take care of every detail in the service as well as the food. Price is also good. This is definitely one of the gems of ktown - homey, authentic, and delicious. “Not a particularly large interior but well spaced tables. You order on an ipad screen at your own leisure.Ordered the half green onion and half garlic bossam with the pork belly kimchi stew.I highly recommend the garlic bossam if you enjoy garlic. The garlic mince is slightly sweet and pairs nicely with the pork. I personally didn't enjoy the green onion bossam as much because it's topped with a fermented soybean sauce, and in my opinion, the meat tasted significantly more gamey. The kimchi stew was really tasty. The spice level was perfect for someone like me who often orders mild or no spice dishes. It had a kick without being painful. The only complaint I would have is that the pork was quite dry and chewy. Also, rice is not automatically served with and you need to request it.For the banchan, the radish kimchi was a highlight while the pasta salad was very disappointing (it kind of just tasted like whole wheat bread but in a pasta form). Our server did a great job despite being the only one working the front.Parking: A small to medium sized parking lot shared by all the stores in that mall.“

“Excellent, spicy fried chicken. Easily the best I’ve ever had, and the pieces were large. I also had the fried okra, which was perfectly crisp.
