“Wow! My son and I ate here for a very special dinner. The ambiance was cozy & finely understated, dimly lit along the neckline of diners to create elegant, artful hyyge -- top to bottom. Our waiter was a poised, warm, & knowledgeable gentleman, educating us and engaging generously with my son -- his commentary and conjecture with easeful comfort and charm. Each member of the staff we got to talk to was equally thoughtful and welcoming, making the meal all the more precious because of these extremely heart-felt connections. “Finally came to check out this old Hollywood establishment!! Loved the decor and vibes reminds me of New York. From hosts to servers to kitchen crew, everyone is so warm and funny made us felt very welcomed. Definitely need to reserve ahead because I overheard they were all booked out and I assume that happens every night.For food we got:- Mussel’s special salad. Romaine and avocado in a creamy dressing. Delicious yet light.- hubby got sand dab and loved it. Very flavorful I wish portion was a bit bigger- I got ribeye cap as many reviews recommended. Did not disappoint! Was so tender and juicy. Love the jus too.- Alfredo. They were so kind and split in two without us even asking. I gotta say I understand this is a classic and cult favorite but I guess just not for me. Still good but I wouldn’t order it again as I enjoyed the other entrees much more.- New York cheese cake for dessert. This was the highlight of the night!! Our server said best NY cheesecake on the west coast and I was skeptical! But he was right!! It was so creamy and cheesy. Not overly sweet. I almost ate the whole thing by myself!Drinks: I gotta try the classic dirty martini and hubby old fashioned. Both were great and the martini came with a mini carafe with extra for refill later so cute!“
“Food and wine selection at AOC is very good. The service is what stood out most. I dined here Monday night and the hostess was very kind. Michael our waiter really made our night. He had great menu and drink recommendations and his positive attitude was so infectious it really made our night. He really set the standard for amazing service. We will be back asap to see him!“

During this All-American™ escapade, I was slyly offered a small bag, containing salt-upon-sea, by a dishevelled, camoflauged Hollywoodian native whilst engourging of the delicacies delivered by this All-American™ "Clark Street Diner" (克拉克街餐厅). I indulged in this salt-upon-sea once entering their one (1) lavatory. This legal and easily accessible substance enhanced my dining experience tenfold. It should be offered at the table, and is my only complaint with the experience. I should not rely on local pathfinders to expand my experience.Vegetarian options: No.Kid-friendliness: The kids were very friendly ! They thoroughly enjoyed my salt-upon-sea.“

“Hands down the best breakfast biscuits I've had. I stop here every single time I'm in l.a. I finally tried something new and ordered the ADB Loco Motto, and it didn't disappoint. The drinks were strong and good. Get there early because it's a neighborhood favorite and fills up fast. The space is cozy, and parking is very limited.Parking: I only saw metered street parking, and there weren't a lot of spots available. You may have to park down the street and walk down to the restaurant.“
“Donna Jean is a great place to enjoy healthy vegan options in the Sherman Oaks area, the staff is very helpful and very attentive. My wife and I came here for Brunch on a Sunday and we ordered there Fungazi and we also got the hot shrooms. Both dishes were really really good. I highly recommend Donna Jean for everyone not just if you are Vegan. The food is outstanding and nothing beats a lively atmosphere and nice staff.“

“The influence of Alice Waters and David Tennis is at play in the $45 prix fixe 3-course lunch, simple, elegant and delicious. The rest of the menu, except the desserts and cocktails, looks to be uninterestingly pedestrian. Recently, a salad of thinly shaved manchego, mint, beets and radicchio first course and a perfectly cooked Sea bass, very plump clams, broad beans, and fennel second course in a seafood broth lightly seasoned with dill were superb, as were desserts that our waiter allowed us to substitute for the third course. Highly recommended for lunch.“
“Very busy café for the “in-crowd” in the Los Feliz area with plentiful indoor and outdoor seating.Upon staff recommendation, I tried the chocolate chip bread pudding- which was absolutely massive and delicious! Not the best bargain at $10, but I’d say it was worth it and probably could have been shared with another person.There is also a bar in the room adjacent to the coffee shop/bakery, which was also very busy.Neat place to get delicious food and drinks, get some work done, or just sit and people watch.“
“Kind of hidden away in the slightly shady feeling streets south of Hollywood Blvd is this gorgeous cafe/restaurant.If the weather's nice try to get a table outside, otherwise inside is just lovely.Apart from the awesome breads, the salads and sandwiches are amazing. “Wow the brisket is a must have. Melts in your mouth. Love the Mac n cheese and the collard greens. The corn bread with the honey butter of yum. Comes hot. Katie helped us and she was so wonderful and sweet and attentive. Marino was our bus boy and was so helpful when we asked for things. We weren't even in his section. This staff went above and beyond. This is the kind of service that makes me want to return to a place. Thank you to the best bbq on the block!“
“Went on a Sunday for brunch and there was a hefty wait around ~1-1.5hrs, which was completely expected for the area. We were fine with waiting as there's a lot of neat shops to explore and farmersmarket in the area. We ordered the breakfast burrito, spicy chicken sandwich, ceviche, and pepperoni pizza. The ceviche comes with homemade huge taro root chips - which was a nice touch! Everything was delicious but the chicken sandwich was really wet - to the point of needing to eat with a fork and knife. I personally would not order it again as it felt a bit too soupy for me but overall everything was tasty. Service was great and friendly. We sat outside as we had our husky with us - the place was very dog friendly outside.“
“The aesthetic here is quite beautiful. Made by a graffiti artist Kacper Abolik, horses and other subjects adorn the walls as you eat in the back room. Many dishes make a correlation to horses as well. The hot plate is a horse shoe. The butter is molded into a horse. The details really make the experience. The cocktails and wine selection is lovely as well. It's a great place to go for date night!“

“I like this place. They have a great wine selection and their charcuterie and small plates are delicious. The Marcona almonds are well flavored/seasoned. The olives are also well-marinated. Their meat board contains delicious selections of cured meats and cheese with some sweet jam. All of these items pair nicely with their Chilean red, which is a reasonably priced and tasty bottle. I've only eaten inside but they have a nice patio in the back. The inside is dim and cozy. This is a great spot for a date night or a night out with friends. It's not cheap by any means, but they deliver solid service, food, and wine. Enjoy!“

The food the decor, the staff.. if you get a chance to meet Eden Alpert you're lucky. Always kind.... And you'll notice that she's probably having the best time of anyone. The music and the performers are top-notch. It's not uncommon to see some of the top names in jazz.. however don't be surprised if you see Seth MacFarlane doing songs from Sinatra or an Amy Winehouse tribute. Sound mix is even and the perfect volume. Highly recommend the Caesar salad with a plate sized parmesan crisp and the mini ahi tuna tacos and save room for the hot chocolate cake. Food is top of the line and jazz club is elegant and upscale. Can't wait to eat and shoot pics there again soon.“

“First visit after driving by for too long. Don't drive by, this is an amazing spot for brunch on the weekend! Atmosphere outside is wonderful, wait staff was on point and very helpful, food was truly special, prepared perfect and presented beautifully, as you would expect from a great spot in WEHO. We tried the Crostinis which were perfectly sized apps and had the Breakfast burrito (so fresh with Avocado, Egg, Black Beans and Bacon) and my wife had the Herb and Giat cheese omelet, in her words “it was delicious”, and great portion of food for both of us. Have already reserved our next brunch and eager to bring our out of town guests. Excellent and looking forward to dinner as well.“

The cocktails were absolutely delicious and our bartender, Frenchie (I believe that’s what he went by) was very attentive. We mentioned being curious about a vermouth in a cocktail that he happened to overhear and before we knew it he let us try it. “3rd visit - Obsessed! Innovate cuisine and meticulous cocktails at the level everywhere else wishes they could. Negroni - All time fav because the bitter punches hard (sometimes too hard). This is the best I've had! Bitter and sweet balance exquisitely - not brusque. Crispy Potatos - Well done, but makes you wonder if size is right. Close to being a french fry - but large! Crispy outside, soft inside, well seasoned. Mildly curious aioli pair well. Not perfect. Maybe needs another sauce? Seared Hokkaido Scallops - Scared green curry would overpower delicate scallops, but texture remains in tact. Curry pulls out creaminess. Delicate, but flavorful. Warm and clean. Scallion paratha is so necessary to give heavy depth! Cheesecake - Yooo!! Creme Brule is my fav and this is rivaling it! Bright and tart while velvety with deep. Not heavy! You'll regret not getting. Martini - A must every visit! I love olives, but tried lemon this time and loved how big of a difference it made! Excited to try gibson/onion next!“

Sam was super cool and he told us about how all the dressings were made from scratch — and they did not disappoint! The fries were delicious. I love fries that are both soft and crunchy. Your mushroom fungi trecce is good. I don't like creamy sauce but this one is good. Hard to find a good bolognese pasta, but this one is good. The hamachi is good, nice tempura element. Lobster roll is excellent!! The family loves the lamb chops!! I am not a dessert person but your sticky toffee pudding is good!!“

We started our meal with the cheese plate and tuna carpaccio both of which were an amazing first course. I then ordered the pan seared cod and my girlfriend ordered the octopus. Both were cooked to perfection and full of rich flavors and complimentary accoutrements. Finally to finish our meal we ordered a serving of ice cream which is always a good choice and the Cloud de Maron. The latter of which was not only visually stunning but also deliciously decadent. You can tell that folks in the kitchen really care by how perfectly cooked and meticulously plated everything is. The front of the house was no different. “Today my husband and I, visiting from Florida, took a walk in hopes of finding lunch while our Los Angeles daughter continued her work day from home. What a find! We stumbled across Three Borders Grill. My husband ordered a Tronnquito and after explaining that I'm a vegetable and either chicken, beef, or fish eater, #37 was recommended minus the black beans and rice. OMG does not describe the deliciousness of what was put in front of me. Everything was garden fresh, including red, yellow, and orange peppers, brocolli, asparagus, and a large amount of chicken. We both were amazed at the presentation and the flavor. We also had 2 all-natural drinks with our meal. Mine was orange based and my husband's was pineapple. Very refreshing with no sugar added. Then, they prepared a fried banana for us to share, but without the sugar they usually add. I can't recall a more satisfying dining experience and we just stumbled across this gem. We chatted with the owner and she shared the meaning of her three-border concept and her love of using very fresh and natural ingredients. We were so impressed that we asked if she'd pose with us for a photo. Absolutely made my day!“
