“I stumbled into this health food store since it was right next to LA Fitness in search of a tea that will help my menstrual cramps. The owner (?) was very kind and knowledgeable about all the products. He provided some suggestions and wasn't pushy about buying anything. He even offered me two free single servings of magnesium to put in my tea as he said it helps a lot. Overall really kind customer service, great shop, and reasonable prices. Thank you!“

“My boyfriend and I were craving for some healthy but filling food and stumbled upon Mad Rebel. And we are so glad we did and will definitely be coming back!The chef makes his own dressings and the ingredients were all so fresh. We got the Marley, Desperado, and Healthy Heart, and we were both blown away how delicious healthy food can be. “This is such a cute spot, I had my reservations, as I am a neighbourhood resident and I had heard not-so-great stuff, but upon going in for my first time, I was recommended a fantastic shake, and I also got a wrap. The boys, both working the counter and the back were the sweetest people, the service was fast, and the food was fantastic. Honestly, I can't give this place enough praises. 10/10“

“Yummy! I've been really into acai lately. When I got a job in Century City, I found myself going to the Century City mall on a daily for lunch. During one of my lunch outings, I came across Oakberry Acai. When I entered, I was getting huge Deja Vu. I realized that I had been there once before thanks to a Yelp event. Since my experience went well during the Yelp event, I already knew I was going to like it.The place was clean and straight to the point. I was greeted by a nice gentleman who helped me order. I got an acai with granola, chia seeds, strawberries, blueberries, and bananas. It definitely hit the spot! It tasted fresh and it was filling. Thank you!!“

“Thanks to our fabulous server, Joshua- everything was perfect! Two members of our party had finished the LA Marathon and Josh went out of his way to make sure they got everything exactly as they wished. He treated them like Kings - which they deserved. The food, as usual, was fresh and delicious and fantastic. Major props to the whole kitchen crew for doing such a great job on such a busy day. Also- the grass fed beef in the true blue burger is amazingly tender and fresh. Only to be topped by the grass fed ice cream on top of freshly baked chocolate chunk cookies.“

“For as small as this place is, it was worth it! The food was so good, probably one of the best chilaquiles I've had. My friend and I shared the chilaquiles and the chocolate banana pancakes which were also so fluffy and not overly sweet, they were just right. We came on a weekend for brunch so the place was packed and there was a line waiting to be seated. Good thing we had reservations. Seating is both outside and inside but considering it was a very hot morning, we opted to stay inside. Service was very slow for us compared to others but at least the food made up for it. To drink I tried the chocolate raspberry ice coffee and it was really good as well, again it had just the right amount of sweetness I didn't have to add anything to it. Will definitely come back and I highly recommend this place (be sure to make reservations)“

I came here for a quick lunch on the go fore work started up again. Was mildly overwhelmed for how many things were on the menu for such a small place, but the workers there were kind and offered recommendations really helping out since I was on a short schedule. “I'm a former nutritionist. About a decade ago, I was using GG Scandinavian Bran Sprinkles. I haven't been able to find them anywhere recently. After an extensive search, I came across Lo Carb U Foods. They had what I wanted in stock & purchased 3 bags. The following day, Jose called to let me know that they only had 2 bags of the sprinkles, but would supplement with crackers, which are the same thing. I'd just have to smash them up to get sprinkle consistency. He also refunded me 10% of the purchase price for the inconvenience. It was so thoughtful! A week and a half later, I still hadn't received my order, so I called and reached Jose again. He looked into the system and saw that the order had been shipped, but there was an issue with the USPS tracking. He spent a day getting transferred from one person to the next and finally found out that my order had been destroyed in transit! He called me back to let me know that they had packaged more than enough of the crackers to cover the damaged order and were FedEx'ing it to ensure that I had it the following day. I have my product and... WOW! Am I impressed with the conscientious, professional and friendly customer service. It doesn't get better than this. Thank you Jose and Lo Carb-U for getting me back in touch with one of my favorite dietary products and for going the extra mile!“

They aren't huge and anything over $10 for a smoothie is way too much for me. Still, I will probably be back at some point because it's in a good location and tastes so good.“

“I've made several trips to this location as a post-workout pick-me-up. I like the Muscle Builder (blueberries, banana, almond milk, almond butter, and plant-based protein) and the Flax Power (Amazonian açaí, flax powder, coconut water, banana, maca, cinnamon, and plant-based protein) smoothies the most. The Wake Me Up with dates and coffee is also pretty good. The drinks are excellent, but the service can be real hit or miss. There's been improvement since it seems they've added more folks to their team, but a couple of times I've gone in, there's no acknowledgment of customers at the till. I get it if you're busy and making drinks and working the till, but you have to at least acknowledge folks who walk in and say hello, and that you'll be them in a moment or something. I'm glad they've added more folks to the team, because it can be a lot to man a till and also handle the drinks on your own. The interior is nice, and clean, and there's some seating outside, but doesn't seem like a place people come to hangout at - just order, grab, and go! Tip: there's free parking in the rear, via an alley!“

“Sweetgreen is my holy grail! I used to drive to the location on 3rd whenever I come into the office because I'd allow it to be a little treat for myself rather than bringing in lunch. When they opened this location, I couldn't be more ecstatic! The food is of course delicious and refreshing but the staff is what really takes the cake. Luis has helped me a few times to the point where I feel like I've become a regular so it's always nice to see him when I come in for my lunch. He's friendly, generous, and charismatic -- when working in Beverly Hills, it's so refreshing to come to an energy like this. 10/10“

“I love Sweetgreen and in particular this location. Everything is always so fresh and I respect from where they resource all their products. But, frankly what makes their 3rd Street location worthy of five stars is their incredible team. Everyone I encounter at this store is so incredibly nice and helpful. The old hippie in me would say “They put good vibes into your salad.” It’s because of this that I now eat at this store multiple times a week. We had the two vegan bowls and they both were amazing.Staff was very friendly too and I loved that they mix your bowl for you and not just put it together nicely so it looks good on pictures but then is dry halfway through - no here it gets mixed and tastes perfect throughout.We’ll come again! :)“

“Wow! We have not been to Tender Greens in over 10 years and so happy we decided to go tonight. We were so impressed with the staff, they were very accomodating, friendly, answered all of our questions and genuinely seemed happy to be at work! What more can you ask for? Attached you will see pictures of what we ordered, everything was SOOO good with exception of the Chipotle Barbecue Chicken Salad, it tasted kind of plain, I felt like it needed to be spiced up with something....maybe some sundried tomatoes or artichoke, I don't know. Everything else was delicious and we would order each of the items again! I am a registered dietitian, great to see they have so many healthy options. As far as amibiance, I loved the dim lights and spacious seating, such a nice vibe. Perfect spot for a Friday night quick eat! We will be back for sure!“
