“Hands down, this is one of the best Thai food restaurants I’ve stumbled upon. The two young ladies I met when picking up my order were so sweet. I felt very bad because the DoorDash delivery guy had stolen the original order, which was well over a hundred dollars worth of food. Not only did they replace the order, but added a couple of items for the inconvenience. Every single dish was absolutely delicious. If you enjoy chicken wings, there wings are heavenly. Honestly, some of the best wings I’ve ever tasted, cooked to perfection. And the quality of beef and chicken they use is well above average. The steak in the Thai salad was so tender, super lean and not even slightly over cooked. This will now be one of my family’s “go to” Thai restaurants in the neighborhood. Support a wonderful local small business ran by genuinely good people! You won’t be disappointed.”

“Really chill atmosphere but the bartender ron/rob (white young guy) was a dick. Really judemental about taking the orders of some of my friends. They werent “bar” experienced about what kind of drink to order and he was annoyed with that. Which is unfair regardless of how tired you are as a serve worker. Other than that, the place is all vibes and great ambience.”

“Small hole in the wall with big flavor! I had the vegan options which were chick peas, eggplant and cauliflower. It was a little oily but all was delicious. The woman that served us was kind enough to let me know that the Naan was not vegan since they use butter to make it, most places won't even bother. I'd definitely go back.”

“Has a lot of potential. The sandwich ingredients are great, overall concept is better than other places. The taste is mostly there but overpowered by the unnecessarily massive amounts of sauce that squirts out and drips everywhere when you have a bite. Maybe they were going for juicy but it was too much. I used about five napkins cleaning up.

Opinions differ on how much sauce is good but I'd say the vast majority of people would agree. The owner should test his own food and come up with a slightly different ratio of sauce.

I will still go back and try something else but I'll make sure to request slightly less sauce.”

“Pretty much everything it is always the best and freshest fish in town! The best oysters on the half shell, Uni, yellowtail belly, the seafood salad is really delicious, (as well as their salmon skin salad)! Another favorite is the ELhand roll (it’s almost a meal in itself)! You really cannot go wrong with anything you order there! Five stars for sure!”

“We've been going to Hugo's for years. The food and service are consistently good and the staff are always very pleasant and accommodating. Be warned, if you order a salad with added salmon the additional cost is over $20. Neither the option to add salmon nor the price are listed on the menu. When we brought this to the attention of the manager he was very accommodating and gave us a partial credit. He that said we were not the first to complain.”

“If you are looking for an authentic, kosher, Jewish bakery, it does not get any better than Schwartz Bakery. I always thought that Portos bakery was number 1, well that spot is now taken by Schwartz Bakery. Their blintzes with cheese are amazing. I was shocked to know that the cheese is actually dairy free (parve), but it has a full taste of actual cheese, not an easy task if you ever bought dairy-free products. The assortment is great as well, you can find anything from non sweet potato knishes to savory little chocolate rolls and poppy seed roulettes. The little challas are very delicious too. I honestly can say that out of dozens of items that I had tried there, I have not found one that was not tasty.”

“11/5/2018 I gotta give a shout out to this pizza restaurant. I just finished this long drive from long beach to LAX to santa Monica to NoHo. I drove by this place and said I am gonna go there as I drop off my last client. They were so kind, they let me use the restroom (which was for employees only), gave me a discount on a pizza and so I ate it from my hatchback. Top stars for service and for pizza in NoHo!”

“This Mexican restaurant at Don Zarape deserves every one of its five stars. I absolutely adored my experience here; it was our inaugural visit, and it exceeded our expectations. Despite the early closing time at 6 pm, we managed to arrive at 5 pm, giving us a satisfying hour to enjoy our meal. Next time, I'll be sure to arrive even earlier. I savored the fish soup, caldo de pescado, paired with horchata, while my wife delighted in the shrimp Coctel with a refreshing jaimaca drink. The flavors were outstanding. Didn't taste garlic. It had good flavors and the shrimp was fresh and not overcooked, but when I order something with garlic in the name, I anticipate tasting garlic.The Hot and Sour Soup was very good. Plenty of tofu, but would have preferred more mushrooms and bamboo shoots. It had about half of what other restaurants give. Lots of great flavor. A little more sweet than I'd prefer though.The chicken dumplings were good, but maybe not the best choice for take-out. Good flavor. Not greasy, but ate them at least thirty minutes after cooking and they should be eaten immediately.I'm definitely returning and trying other dishes.”
