“Good tacos, just inconvenient that they don’t serve you the tacos in a plate anymore, even if you dine in they don’t give you a plate. You also have to be asking them for condiments and since they’re busy you have to wait in line. It suck’s considering how much money they make.“
“Some of the best fish tacos I've had in LA. Lovely staff, unique menu options. There is serve-yourself salsa station with an impressive array of house made choices. Do yourself a favor and get a crunchy fried fish taco and eat it right when it comes out!! There is limited seating out front, but you can usually snag a table in the shared space between the truck and Pine+Crane.“
“Probably in my top 3 breakfast burritos in LA if not my favorite. Almost a literal hole in the wall spot you order from along the busy street in Atwater Village. No seating - just take out. You order from the window and grab it when it's ready. Can't remember if I started coming here before or after Bourdain made it famous, but I'm not a gatekeeper and I'm happy for any fame or business this place received as a result. My go to is the papas and steak breakfast burrito. I ask to add spinach. As of 11/23 the price of this comes to $7. Super reasonable. I love the salsa here. Spicy and makes me sweat but such a great smoky flavor. So delicious. There was a time in my life I used almost get a burrito here every week - whether it was the morning after hanging out with my friends living in Silverlake or the time period in my life when I lived in Silverlake myself. So many great memories tied to this place for me. Parking can be a little tough depending when you go. There's lots of metered parking or you may have to park a bit away and walk here.“
“My favorite taco place. Please blow this place up so it can survive!!! It’s in a slightly difficult place due to the traffic at that intersection but the food is sooooooo good and the workers are all so friendly. Cute space inside and out. Get your tacos/burrito gogo “
“Must try if you are looking for delicious authentic birria. It's a cute-humble family owned establishment that serves very tasty dishes. My favorite was the consomé with tacos dorados. I do wish they had a spicier red sauce but overall was great. It hit the spot on a Sunday afternoon. I especially liked the fact I could dine-in instead of the typical food truck. I can't wait to come back and try more items. Thank you familia Castro.“
“Visited Button Mash for a fun anniversary dinner and it did not disappoint. The seating allows for some people watching of the arcade, but far enough away to feel intimate. The service is fantastic and it’s worth getting some quarters from the front bar to play games after your meal. For food, we split the house roll, yellow curry bucatini, and the mushroom curry fondue. The roll is so decadent and interesting, and the bucatini was a must-try. One of the most texturally complex and flavorful dishes I’ve tried in a while. Don’t let fusion scare you off. The mushroom curry fondue was good, but simply too similar flavor-wise to the bucatini. If you try one, get the bucatini, it’s more balanced from the squash and chutney. Would definitely come back to try a fish dish and dessert in the future!Vegetarian options: Good balance of veg/vegan items on the menu and the server asks if any allergies or dietary restrictions once you are seated. Did not feel restricted eating a fully vegetarian meal.“
“Great Birria Ramen. Loved that I could order it online and it was ready for me by the time I showed up. It was easy to find parking, and I loved having the option to sit there too. Did I mention that the Birria Ramen was great. Totally will go back“
“Unreal! One of the best quesadillas I’ve ever had and honestly I’ve always felt like it’s such a basic food. This one though had tons of flavor. Even the mild salsa I got as an extra was garlicky and delicious. The frozen piña coladas 10/10. Glad I tried this on a whim. Excited to try the cocktail spot next door next time“
“Stumbled upon this place on a whim with my friends while trying to find some Mexican food and decided why not here? It's a good thing we decided that because I think we ended up each getting 3 rounds of tacos. The pork and beef tacos were delicious and only two dollars each. The toppings and hot sauce are all self-serve. Finally, the horchatas are homemade and delicious! The place only accepts cash, zelle, and cashapp but do not sleep on this place the tacos and horchata are seriously good.“
“I’ve been coming here for years and I gotta say I am never disappointed. This is my place for tacos de Al pastor and Asada. The vampiros are also very delicious and it’s a must for me every visit. The asada and Al Pastor are fresh and juicy. The salsas are good and spicy also. The burritos, tortas, quesadillas, and nachos de asada are also pretty damn delicious but you gotta come on Mondays.Been here countless times and they’ve never messed up my order. I always leave with a happy stomach and This is definitely on my top 3 for taco spots.“
“Everything about this place is top notch.Yes, the portions are not big, but what they lack in size. They absolutely make up for and taste and quality of ingredients. They only offer one dessert: flan. And that is all they need to offer. The flan was delicious and also of a good size to share.I've been here for meetings with co-workers, a drink at the bar during happy hour, and dinner with friends. This place is great for all occasions. And there's even parking in the back!“
“So delicious!! Great value, really affordable, lots of toppings :))) 10/10!! Really going to miss la tacos! All the options are super fresh and full of flavor! The mango salsa and sauces are fantastic. Made our night!Ps: they have a seating area“
“Solid selection of tacos, counter service, where you order, huge drink selection, including a $200 margarita meant for 16 people (sorry that’s not pictured we must have finished it so quickly). Generous portions, and all the tacos which he would hope for spending at least $5/taco.“
“Delicious and affordable tacos ($2 each), definitely recommend stopping by. They’re my new just flew into the city and need some late night tacos spot.Heads up it is an outside spot so people ate at their cars or this giant green thing that was kinda like a giant standing table. But despite this 100% worth stopping by.“
“Ran into this place randomly and I'm glad I did. I've never had birria tacos ? and I'm so happy I took the plunge, in fact I'm low key upset non of my Mexican friends ever even suggested I try birria tacos but here we are. It's right in front of the 24 Hour Adam's Coin Laundry. On top of everything else the service is top notch and they take card.“
“Stopped by to get some late tacos. Pleasantly greeted by a very nice family, father, mother, sons and their daughter. Not only are they a very charming family, the food is great. So far I tried, Tacos de asada, al pastor and cabeza. Mulitas de asada, al pastor, vampiro de asada and a vampiro in a mulita de asada. I will definitely stop by again to try more items from their menu. They've gained a new customer.“
“Awesome food, in the middle of the sidewalk on a busy street so I always fear a rogue driver will take out the crowd.Kid-friendliness: Be careful with bringing kids. Very busy street and you're pushed to the edge of the sidewalk. Open flames and hot surfaces.“
“We liked it a lot! I went with my family, and all the dishes we ordered were very well served and delicious. We ordered birria, a fish fillet, some tacos, chicken fajitas and Menudo. Excellent service and the place is very cozy.I highly recommend this place!!“
“The food was very good. My favorite thing was the spicy Pescado tacos. The chorizo scramble on toast was not as good as I was hoping it would be, but I did love the mimosa option with a flight of juices to kind of make your own mimosa. got there fairly early so there weren't many people and there, so the noise level was low and the atmosphere there is very charming and warm..“
“Birria tacos at the best.#1 for me in LA for birria tacos.Because it's so good better just put simple ingredients (onion, cilantro, spicy chili salsa for consome if you like spicy) and enjoy the flavor of real birria consome. Real deal. Fish tacos were very nice as well. Everything is really fresh.“
“Honestly, the best fish burrito in town. This was my go-to spot on my way back from the Silverlake dog park a generation ago (wistfully, three dogs ago). I have since moved up north, but come back to LA from time to time and make it a point to visit Tacos Delta. It is remarkable to me that the burrito remains exactly the same, the fish perfectly crunchy on the outside and blissfully tender on the inside. All the fixings on the inside are tasty and fresh, popping with flavor. The tortilla also remains the same, imbued with deep nutty, earthy notes - so delicious one could eat it alone and be perfectly happy.Kudos for the way they service their soda machine - their pop is carbonated to perfection with just the right amount of syrup. As you can tell, these folks still know exactly what they're doing!“
“Love their tacos and burritos! It's right next to my work and they usually setup by 3pm so we can get early dinner with the team. I usually get the carne asada and el pastor tacos + burrito. If I ask them mix (beef /pork) meat in the burrito there's $1 extra charge. Last time I didn't have an extra dollar so the amigo gave it to me for free. The meat is little bit salty so don't put too much sauce! Love their grilled onions too and avocado sauce. Tacos $2.50 and burritos $10 as of February 2024.“
“The place is beautiful and the food was delicious. However, the service was not good, the male waiter at the registration desk was a bit rude and I think he is a racist. He let white people in first even though they arrived later than you and only acted friendly to them.“
“They are open Monday through Friday from 6pm to very late 1130pm and are very nice people. The food is excellent especially the tacos are my favorite. The burrito is good but a little pricey for the size. Overall we were very satisfied with our meal and the friendly service here. The best part is living 2 blocks away.“
“I’ve been looking for a delicious torta for a long time and I finally found the place! If you like fresh delicious food this is the place. The service is excellent, they answered all my questions and explained their menu. I created my own sandwich with some recommendations from Johnathan who was awesome. This is by far the best torta I’ve ever had! It was so good I was back a couple days later for another! Wifey ordered tacos and they were amazing as well. The flavor and freshness of the meat is what sets them apart. No old meat being served here. Definitely my go to spot for delicious fresh food!“
“The crispy chicken tacos are soooo good! & I usually don’t like hard shell tacos. The service & staff is amazing, they really take the time to make sure everything you ordered is perfect, & if it’s not they don’t hesitate to correct it.“
“Delicious Quesa Tacos! Must try if you're in the area or craving savory food. I had the steak and Al pastor. Their tacos alike their burritos are served with pickled onions, lime and chilitos. I can't wait to try the birria next time you won't regret it.“
“I’m not into Tex-Mex, yet i find myself eating here quite regularly. Hmmm… must be the delicious food and drinks! Plus my dog loves the attention she gets here.Love the queso, Frito pie, and vegetarian tacos. And of course the palomas :)Not into eggs myself, but there are a ton of options if you are. The los feliz location near me is smaller than Highland Park and Atwater, but still delicious.“
“First time here. But I would come backWe ordered the Baja and shrimp tacos. Let me just say... the hand made tortillas make a HUGE difference. It's only the tacos- no sides. Which was a bummer, but again.. they are really good. The drink thing they offer with the tacos was a little misleading. It says you get a ticket for a $4 Tecate, but what they leave out is that you get $4 off the beer. So you still pay $4. That's the one star off Ordered the spicy daisy- it's super Smokey. So if you like it, then it's for you. Music is really loud and they have a section to take photos. Not a first date place since you can't really talk much. But overall... it's good for the food“
“Poncho's has to be my and my family's favorite taco spot currently in the San Fernando Valley area. If you still haven't tried their tacos then you've been missing out. Currently I'm probably ordering via Uber eats on a regular basis. I highly recommend quesotsco beef birria tacos, quesotsco al pastor and of course you can't go wrong with the regular street tacos asada, Al pastor and even birria. I forgot to mention how flavorful the consome is and of course their salsa verde & red sauce are a must too! I pair all my queso tacos with all 3 ( consome, salsa verde and red salsa)“
“This is the go to taco spot. I been coming here for a while now and they never disappoint. I tried their Carne asada tacos, asada quesadillas and asada burrito. The way they season the Carne asada is delicious and the red sauce that they give is the perfect combination. They now accept credit card but they charge a small fee if you use that. You can still pay cash or zelle if you don't want to use your credit card. The staff are very friendly and the guy working as the cashier is awesome. My wife also loves their food as well.Parking: They are on Balboa and Nordhoff, more toward the back of Burger kings so there parking spots there.Kid-friendliness: This place is kid friendly but they are near the main street of Nordhoff so just keep an eye on them.“
“Great food and friendly owners. The pollo tacos are amazing, and use shredded broiled chicken instead of the usual flat-top grilled chicken. Imagine if someone fit an extra tender and flavorful Costco chicken in a taco. I came back the next day and tried the mole chicken, which was also excellent.“
“Found this place last minute and so glad I did. They accept card/tap pay which saved me. They were super nice and efficient. The food? PHENOMENAL. Will be coming back more often. Fresh made tortillas. The meat was seasoned and delicious. Fire fire fire. ?“
“Don’t let anyone tell you differently… it’s so much more than “just tacos”. The is something for every palate and taste bud, all developed flavors and easy. I have been to almost all the locations, from East LA to DTLA, to Echo Park, Beverly Hills, and Pasadena. I’m never disappointed!Vegetarian options: Calabacitas, Hongos, quesadillas“
“4+ Considered one of the best by many or at least one of the most popular taco spots in Los Angeles. They have a good variety of items and meats, but I would say they are most known for their al pastor (marinated, spit-roasted pork that is usually served with a slice/ chunk of pineapple). The service here is pretty efficient since they have to be - there's almost always a line. The vibe: depending on the time of day or night you come, it's usually a mixed group of people wanting to try this spot, people eating after a drinking session, or just people looking for decently priced tacos. One of the times I was here, I was standing behind Dante Basco (Rufio!), haha. Usually a fun vibe for sure. My usual here is two tacos (typically the al pastor) and a mulita. It used to be that there was a toppings and salsa bar where you would dress up your food. Not sure if it's because of the pandemic or people taking advantage and taking too much stuff home, you now have to go to a separate window to ask for the toppings and salsa and they're individually packaged. I definitely think this place is worth going for the al pastor. I myself have been here multiple times. Parking can be tough, but if you are going during the week there's usually parking along the street facing south on LA Brea right around the corner. Just be careful though as it is a relatively high traffic area and some people seem to drive recklessly in this area.“
“This place is my to go place for tacos n Asada nachos I don't go anywhere else around my area they are delicious specially their Salsa so good... Service is great they try n go as fast as they can not much of an ambiance since its a food truck i grab my food n go“
“This will be the third time we have used Nana's Kitchen. So clearly, we love what they do. The food is fantastic, a step up from your normal taco caterer, and we loved the passed appetizers while the guests were arriving. They set up a beautiful buffet spread and used gorgeous bowls. Everything was fresh and delicous. They homemade the tortillas and served delicious guacomole, again homemade. The servers were ontime, self sufficant and cleaned up after themselves. They boxed up all of the leftovers for us which was really nice. The only negative I could find, and you just need to know, is that beyond the food/catering fee (minimum of $650 for 40 people) they charge a travel fee, a convenience fee to use a credit card, and a 18% service fee which is NOT gratuity. So ontop of the food, you will need to expect to pay about 40 % more on the charges (your own tip to the servers, their 18% service fee and travel fee and of course tax). They are transparent about it, but something you should know. With that being said, I would still use them again.“
“Great little Cafe with awesome vibes! As soon as me and my large family walked in we were kindly greeted, and offered a table because we wanted to dine in.The food is so fresh and vibrant with amazing flavors. I ordered the asada tacos and wasn't disappointed! If I'm ever in Cali I'll be back! I really enjoyed how they made us feel welcomed amd at home!“
“My new fave taco stand in la! The meat portion was very generous. There were many sides/toppings to choose from in another table. Also, the meats were freshly grilled. Asada was the best to me. This will be my go to whenever I'm in the area.“
“(Translated by Google) Good flavor and excellent service handmade tortillas and you can bring your ? white and black pansa very good ??(Original)Buen sabor y excelente servicio tortillas echas a mano y puedes traer tu ?pansa blanca y negra buenísimas ??“
“Hands down best burrito(American style) in the valley. The soup is a hidden gem as well, I would say it is one of the best things on the menu, no matter what you get atleast get it on the side. Owner is also very nice, polite and professional to everyone. This place is small but he made sure that everyone was taken care of personally and had everything they needed and keeps the place running on a tight ship. Worth a try no matter what.“
“Food is excellent. Loses one star forbathroom soap so watered down as to make lather difficult. Definitely suggest getting a pound + tortillas if you're hungry.Dietary restrictions: solid gluten free/dairy freeParking: it's easier than I expected“
“This place sure is great. I got the OG plate and everything is so jam packed with flavor there is no need for the salsa although still very tasty. The birria is so tender it almost melts in your mouth. Also the churros are probably the best I’ve ever had with a crunchy fried golden brown exterior and tender almost gooey interior. My only issue is that everything is so small but I guess that’s just California Mexican cuisine.“
“Walking to the Dresden after a show at the Greek Theatre. Very good music emanating from this place caused us to change plans. Drinks were great and relatively inexpensive. Loved the decor... in certain spots it feels like you're partying in an emptied out swimming pool turned party room. Music on Saturday 9/16 was amazing. Keep that dj! I have eaten at Atrium but didn't even know this place existed. 5 stars!“
“Phenomenal!! The burritos have the perfect ratio of meat to beans/rice. Genius portions of Avocado comes in the burrito at no additional charge. The tortillas are handmade and perfection. They're so fluffy and soft they almost taste like tamale texture. The carne asada street tacos are delicious. They have a table with togo ramekins where you can load up on several different homemade salsas/sauces and garnishes. I highly recommend the avocado tomatillo cream sauce! Coming from near the border of Mexico in Texas, I'm picky about my Mexican cuisine as I know what traditional should be, and this spot checks all the boxes!“
“Please come to Toronto!! My girls and I came to LA for the weekend and our first stop was your taco truck. The Carne Asada and chorizo were amazing... the hot sauce, the GUAC! Everything was a 10/10. We tried coming back before our flight but unfortunately, you were closed.“
“This is such a great spot…. Dinner, brunch, every meal we have ever had here has been so great and the service is really special. I’m hesitant to even post a review because I want this place to be my own little secret, but it’s a great spot and deserves to be visited.“
“Went to Kluckin Chicken and was greeted by a nice young man named Arthur. Asked him for his recommendation and it was the Chicken Quesadilla and boy was he on the money. I am not a big fan of different cheeses in my food but this was probably one of the best quesadillas I've ever had. Make sure that you eat it with the sauce that it comes with. My son decided to stick with his normal order of getting chicken tenders. At first I thought the prices here were absolutely ridiculous after paying $43 for two people but when you get your order and see how much food you get. This is like getting lunch and dinner for most people so the value for what you get made it easier to swallow the bill .Fries were OK and could have used a little bit more seasoning but once you dip them in the sauce it makes it all better.“
“The food is great but make sure to order chips/guac to share because the taco size is all over the place but with chips (theirs are good) you'll end up perfectly full. The whole thing is outside so dress accordingly. Ceviche tostada is standout, as are the churros (they come with 2 little ones to an order).“
“Great food! Can’t go wrong with the pastor. They also just started birria. The consommé is fantastic. It’s a small team so you might have to wait a little longer but it’s worth the wait. Patience is a virtue and these lovely people deliver!“
