Lots of TV's, Lots of seating, option to open up the front along the sidewalk, actually relatively cheap prices for food and drink, including great Happy hour deals. I haven't tried a lot of the food but tacos were pretty good. We went during the week so not that busy and service was great. The one downfall was parking. Even during the week, after 7, there was no street parking within 2-3 blocks, and advertised Valet was not there ( maybe on weekends?) so take an Uber. A great option to Fox and Hound down the street. Especially if you prefer Mexican over British food.“
“Came solely for the Al Pastor tacos and they were chef's kiss! CASH ONLY. Located in the parking lot by the gas station. A few parking spots available. No restrooms available (even in the gast station) You order your tacos at a smaller stand and then stand in another line to the food truck window to get your salsas and toppings (which are all pre-packaged) A couple of standing tables next to the taco truck for eating as well. The al pastor was juice yet tender, I always love the sweet pineapple component and then the avocado salsa was very good. The green salsa had a good kick and the red salsa had a slight smokiness to it. I dress my taco up with all the fixings so I liked the raw onions and pickles onions they offer too. Will be back!“

If I ask them mix (beef /pork) meat in the burrito there's $1 extra charge. Last time I didn't have an extra dollar so the amigo gave it to me for free. “4+ Considered one of the best by many or at least one of the most popular taco spots in Los Angeles. They have a good variety of items and meats, but I would say they are most known for their al pastor (marinated, spit-roasted pork that is usually served with a slice/ chunk of pineapple). The service here is pretty efficient since they have to be - there's almost always a line. The vibe: depending on the time of day or night you come, it's usually a mixed group of people wanting to try this spot, people eating after a drinking session, or just people looking for decently priced tacos. One of the times I was here, I was standing behind Dante Basco (Rufio!), haha. Usually a fun vibe for sure. My usual here is two tacos (typically the al pastor) and a mulita. It used to be that there was a toppings and salsa bar where you would dress up your food. Not sure if it's because of the pandemic or people taking advantage and taking too much stuff home, you now have to go to a separate window to ask for the toppings and salsa and they're individually packaged. I definitely think this place is worth going for the al pastor. I myself have been here multiple times. Parking can be tough, but if you are going during the week there's usually parking along the street facing south on LA Brea right around the corner. Just be careful though as it is a relatively high traffic area and some people seem to drive recklessly in this area.“

“This is the go to taco spot. I been coming here for a while now and they never disappoint. I tried their Carne asada tacos, asada quesadillas and asada burrito. The way they season the Carne asada is delicious and the red sauce that they give is the perfect combination. They now accept credit card but they charge a small fee if you use that. “I attend a family gathering, they served food from HomeState that was so delicious, I just had to write about it. A pre-order for 2 dozen tacos, tortilla chips and toppings was served. The tortillas were handmade and filled with a variety of protein, cheese and beans. Each was individually wrapped in foil and clearly labeled for your convenience. The food has a "Texas" flair to it, featuring brisket, pinto or black beans, diced potatoes, pickled red onions, Pico de Gallo, and vegetarian options too. I chose the "Don't Mess with Texas" soft taco. It was filed with Charro beans, bacon, potatoes and cheddar cheese. You can also buy a dozen flour tortillas as a side and save them for the next day! So worth the price ($8 a dozen). They are open 7 days a week, for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Try them and you will want to go back for more. Don't forget to tell 'em that Rosemary sent ya!“
