Great pan dulce. Try the cakes too. Tamales are okay, but all the bakery items are delicious

I came here to try the pastries since I heard that they were comparable to those at Porto's. Usually, I only order the guava and cheese rolls at Porto's so I figured I'd try the ones here since they are also the popular ones. Interestingly, they have a guava + cheese roll mix, but I wanted to try them separately. Overall, I'd have to say that I liked the ones here more than those at Porto's, especially the cheese rolls! The ones here have a sugary, crunchy exterior while being soft and creamy on the inside. Would definitely be coming back!

Great bakery that is somewhat hidden on San Gabriel Blvd. Prices are reasonable and pastries are fresh. I've been coming here every once in a while since the pandemic and I've always had a positive experience. It's convenient if you're going to or from the Rosemead Walmart. Their assorted Mexican breads and tamales are excellent. They also have some pastries that are similar to those sold at Porto's (ie. Guava cheese pastry and cheese roll). If you're looking to get some pastries, they are comparable to Porto's, without the hassle of the long lines. Highly recommend!

The pastries here are amazing. So fresh and so good. There's usually a lot of people going in and out throughout the day where they are busy. Parking is trash but manageable. The cheese and guava pastry is one of the best ones yet. You can definitely taste how homemade it is!!

Great food and great service when I went. Love the tamales and guava pastry. My kid love the mini conchas

The bread was hard ordered some concha's with some French bread and had to throw it away. Waste of money don't think I'll be coming back.

I can't rage enough on how AMAZINGLY beautiful and delicious these cakes came out to. I came here from stumbling upon a TikTok about the similarities the pastries were to Porto's, so I gave it a try. I really enjoyed their selection so this charming became a regular spot for me and my family. From there, I asked if they make custom cakes. The owner was SO nice threw out the process, from showing him an inspo pic, to providing him with ideas, and flavors, to assuring me he could make it. And let me just say, the cakes were beyond my expectations . Not only were they visually pleasing but delicious! THANK YOU NaVis! I got so many compliments and people asking about your bakery

My husband seen a reel on Instagram of this place saying that is better than Porto's. I honestly thought it would be an Asian bakery so I'm in. We came for some ramen in the area and we thought it would be perfect to just give it a try. Turns out I s more like a Mexican bakery making some Porto's favorites. I had a Refujiado and it's wasn't bad, but not as others that I've had. Another thing I didn't like is that my bread was really smashed by the time a got home. They trIed to put as many pieces of bread in a bag. No box. I did however love their empanada de calabaza (pumpkin). It wasn't late in the evening when we arrived and they were already out of chocolate croissants. I have a Porto's very close to my house, so it's not worth my drive. Even with the wait of the lines in Porto's.

Good fresh bread will go back any morning best time to go. A bit less expensive than portos pastries are amazing everyone in my work place loved them.

I had heard they have good bread. I must disagree. Canelas Bakery is way tastier and fresh. I bought an empanada and I don't think it's worth almost $3.00. Won't be returning.

On par with Porto. Hidden gem for us living far from Porto's. No crazy lines for now. Food guava cheese, pineapple cheese, mango cheese, cheese rolls, tres Leches, cheese cake flan, all legit. Price: most important for us: very reasonable and probably better than Porto's. No dine in table inside out. Take out only.

I'm gonna go ahead and maybe make myself some haters..... But this bakery can go up against any panaderia in East LA and win. This has got to be the tastiest bakery around. The cheese rolls are Amazing!!! The pan dulce is fire and the selection is incredible. Never had anything that didn't taste fresh. I will be coming here as often as my husband will let me lol

This place is hit or miss, they seem to always be out of fresh bread. They always have an excuse! They are unreliable and they often try to push stale pan dulce.

Terrible service, treats their long time customers like scum! There is no care or attention to their food.
