Butter and Fold is FABULOUS. The team is welcoming, friendly and committed to the highest quality of food and drinks. I regularly enjoy croissants from Izola, in the east village of San Diego and voted the best croissant in 2022 by yelp AND B&F comes close to the same buttery interior and flaky exterior that makes a perfect croissant. It's a charming place, much needed in Ventura. I have given it a few tries, and baked goods are ok, consistently overbaked, under proofed, and too salty. I'd go back for the atmosphere and coffee but would skip the baked goods next time.

Wasn't impressed with what I would assume were yesterdays croissants that were left out over night and the pricing really needs to be worked on because 3 pastries and a mocha for 23$ is pushing
