“When I went it was during a very busy time and there was only two people running the shop. But I have to say the food hair was pretty terrific. If you're looking for a reasonably priced flavor packed meal, I would stop here. I don't think you could really go wrong with any of the meals here to be honest. Chutney was flavorful, the Masala Dolsa was crispy but with some fluff and packed with onions (which was a lovely surprise) and it honestly made me regret not ordering two plates.“
“5/5. Guava pastry is insanely good. The empanadas are made from scratch and they remind me of my mom’s from when I was a kid. The coffee was refreshing. If you’re reading this and you’re still wondering if you should come by and try this place then you’re wasting your time and should just come by already. Before I eat all of their empanadas myself.“
“I love picking up my juices every week. They are fresh and delicious.I love making ice cubes out of them and using them with soda water or just defrost in the morning and a glass and they’re like a slushyI freeze the shots as well, yet in small ice cube trays“
“I loved this place from the moment I walked in. The staff was very kind and polite. The atmosphere was nice and quiet. I definitely recommend this place to study, meet with a friend or just to get some delicious coffee. I just wish they stayed open until 6 or 7pm.“
“Just tried Russel's for the first time. Wow!The buttermilk and apple fritter were the best I've ever had.Fritter was perfectly crisp on the outside yet moist and full of apple and cinnamon flavors on the inside. The buttermilk was exactly what you'd want it to be.Combine that with great customer service and you gotta try this place out!“
“What a great find! Better than any coffee shop I've been to in a long time! House-made gelato and baked goods (including a wonderful selection of unique gluten-free items!), organic coffees and teas, interesting and unusually flavored coffee and tea beverages...all in a gorgeous location on the Ventura Harbor! Highly recommend!Dietary restrictions: Great gluten-free and vegan options!“
“Beautiful, decadent handmade truffles that are almost too pretty to eat. I added turtles to my husband's Valentine box this year and he absolutely loved tpromised. The online orders I've placed have always been ready when promised.“
“Cutely decorated quaint cafe. I was charging my car across the street and had to use the restroom when I discovered this place. They must have the beat banana bread I have ever had. The cream cheese spread and toasted warm bread is absolutely delicious!!“
“The staff are very friendly and the shops are beautiful designed. The Coffee and tea are delicious, I always get a chai tea latte which has made it on my comfort foods list.Vegetarian options: Although the food isn't the best out there the coffee and teas are great and definitely vegetarian.Dietary restrictions: I haven't personally asked for any.changes to my order. I know they have many options for dietary restrictions.Kid-friendliness: Friendly to all customers no matter their age.Wheelchair accessibility: The store has no stares and many wheelchair accessible routes.“
“We had the breakfast burrito and the quesadilla and they were very good with large portions. We will get 2 meals out of this order. The potatoes are nice and crispy and salted just right. We will come here again when we are in the area. Most seating is outside but they do have 7 tables inside.“
“Came here to pick up pastries for a work meeting. Read reviews on Yelp and decided to try it. The employees were very friendly and helped me pick out some of the favorites. The place has great outdoor seating and also indoor. One of the fav cookies was the Spotted Cow. I got a few of those and some Easter egg cookies. Everyone loved them. I also snagged me a blueberry scone. It was soft and flaky but it lacked the flavor I was expecting. There were many other pastries to choose from. They also serve food. They had some great looking sandwiches that I would love to go back and try.“
“OMG, the açaí bowl was to die for! My girls tried it for the first time and totally fell in love with it . Plus, the people there were super sweet and made us feel right at home. They even had puzzles on a table, and the kids were totally into it, having a blast. I totally recommend this spot! The prices were really reasonable, and the latte? Oh, so good! We had such a great time there. And can we talk about the beachy vibes? Perfect after a long drive. They also had these amazing paintings for sale, and the whole place had such cool decorations that totally set the mood. Definitely 5-star worthy!“
“I was on my way to solvang for vacation and made a stop for breakfast. I came here around 10:30am on a Sunday and only had to wait 5 minutes for a table. Our waitress came by and took our order and the food came out quickly and hot! They have a ton of booths and tables inside but it does get busy. Our food was great! The breakfast burrito had sausage, egg, cheese and potato with sour cream and salsa on the side. It was so hot and tasted fresh. The Swedish pancakes are always amazing and delicious! I'm sad there isn't a location closer but if I'm headed this way I'll be back!“
“Favorite donut shop. Huge selection of donuts plus muffins and bagels. They also have breakfast croissants with eggs, bacon ham and cheese.Parking: Vons shopping centerKid-friendliness: It's a donut shop. Duh, next question.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible with handicap parking in front“
“Love Palm and Boy, by far the cutest coffee shop in Ventura. Their new menu is awesome! They serve Dune coffee too, one of the best roasters around, and they know what they're doing. 5+ stars, make Palm and Boy part of your day in downtown Ventura!“
“Another coffee spot in Ventura to try! If you are fan of a fruity undertones and light roast coffee - this certainly your spot. I love their location the vibes of their coffee shop and wish they had a bigger location so you can hang around with friends. However, overall a great experience and the servers/barista/owner are very friendly people who just make you feel warm (just like their coffee). Definitely a must try!“
“The food was delicious. My friend had breakfast and I had lunch. Both dishes looked amazing and tasted great. The service was wonderful. I didn't feel rushed to leave. We had a business meeting and didn't feel rushed to hurry and leave. We did go during the week. Plenty of food.“
“Great chill place! Awesome coffee! We randomly hit this place on a road trip for a togo coffee , but we loved it so much, stayed around and enjoyed a few too many cups ?People are nice , place is clean , coffee if good, their pastries were also good! They also do sell beans too!Do expect a line probably on peak days but it moves rather fast!Cleanness: cleanPeople: very niceSeating: a few outdoor some insideNoise: average noise!Parking: street, there is a lot in the back tooPrice: fair“
“If you are looking for a great expresso (or any other tasty cofee based beverage), do not miss Prospect! The blend they served is delicate and well balanced. Add one of their pastries, and then you have the perfect breakfast. I advise you to sit outside to enjoy the sun (inside it can be noisy). The people working there are really kind.Kid-friendliness: It seems that a lot of families are coming with their kids on Sunday morning to enjoy great coffee and delicious cinnamon rolls !“
“My wife and I just brought our UK friend here! I ordered their Cold Brew Coffee. As I am a Cold Brew fanatic, and in my opinion, if the Brew ain't made locally, it just ain't Cold Brew. Starbucks upsets my stomach. And such other places that imitate Cold brew. Normally I'd been through 2 trentas no ice by the evening. I'm still sipping on Simones Cold brew! The quality is amazing. Very refreshing and there is no bitter after taste. I will be back.“
“OMG I just had the best mocha ever (and I drink A LOT of mochas)....Beacon's current seasonal mocha <<trumpet fanfare>> Ojai Pixie Zest Mocha made with their house-made dark chocolate ganache (and just FYI, all their mochas can be made vegan). If you like orange and chocolate, you must go try this! Now...Go now! :)“
“Breakfast food might possibly be the most satisfying! Ventura County has a number of solid breaky options and Golden Egg Cafe is one of them! I like a good traditional breakfast cafe that isn't trying to be too trendy, just good food! Homestyle cooking and personable service. Always appreciate a cafe with outdoor seating and I enjoyed sitting on the front porch. Golden Egg operates out of what was most likely a residential home. Quaint and comfy vibes. I ordered a 3 egg breakfast with hash browns and English muffin. Solid choice, sometimes a basic breakfast is what the soul needs. My toddler had the French toast with fruit. So good. An eggy type of french toast and fresh fruit made it even more delicious. Parking can be a little tricky. Limited options on Main and a few spot in the back. Food was good. Service was excellent and I will return to explore the menu.“
“Love it here! The place looks great and very vibrant. The service is very nice and very accommodating. The coffee is good and their food is also good. You can also buy beans from them and you can also get a specific beans for half pound only if you are just testing it out. When you buy beans from them you get a free coffee which is really nice deal. This would be you go to coffee! You should try their Chicken & Waffles!“
“Great place for a coffee and sone avocado toast! While I was there, an employee was wiping down, handles and door entryways all around the store. I appreciate this attention to detail and cleanliness.Vegetarian options: Avocado toast is awesome here!Parking: Parking shared with donut shop and Valentino’s PizzaWheelchair accessibility: Yes, definitely wheelchair accessible“
“My gf and I both really liked our meals here. I had the pho with brisket and she ordered a noodle dish. We came near closing time and they were out of a few items we tried to order so the nice waiter gave us a discount, which we appreciated. Good food and good customer service.“
“"Recently, I decided to give Bagel Café in Ventura a try following a less than satisfying experience at another bagel joint. Situated in a small shopping center off Main Street near CMH Hospital, this cozy café requires accessing from the back as there's no access on Main Street. While the parking lot is decent, it tends to get busy during the week. The café itself is on the smaller side, offering a few tables outside on a quaint patio and a handful inside. Their breakfast and lunch menu out feature A variety of absolutely delicious looking bagel sandwich options. What sets Bagelicious Café apart is their commitment to freshness—all their bagels are made in-shop daily, along with their cinnamon rolls and other baked goods. I opted for a four cheese, jalapeño, everything sourdough bagel with cream cheese and lox, and it was an absolute delight. The gentleman assisting me was incredibly helpful, explaining the full menu and emphasizing the freshness of their bagels. My bagel was toasted to perfection, enhancing its flavor. In addition to their mouthwatering bagels, they offer a wide assortment of coffee drinks. The pricing was fair, considering the quality and speed of service.Overall, Bagelicious Café surpassed my expectations, and I'll definitely be returning for more of their delicious offerings."“
“Dropped off my espresso machine for repair after talking with Tyler on the phone. He was super knowledgable and helpful in diagnosing the issue. Not only did they diagnose the problem within 48 hours, they also repaired the machine in no time and gave me plenty of good advice on maintaining my machine properly. I picked up the machine from Foster who was also extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommend these guys & will definitely be back!“
“Everytime I came in it's always great cause I'm part of there Fuel discount program which is great on pocket and it's also great when you want to get a quick cup of coffee or a quick snack so I would recommend this Shell highly if you're looking for gas or that quick snack“
“Absolutely wonderful. Everything was fresh and delicious. Nothing was too sweet. The lovely lady at the counter happily walked me through the day’s selection. She said it changed every day. Everything looked incredible, it was hard to choose. We ended up with a raspberry and chocolate twist, a pineapple strudel, a croissant breakfast sandwich, a mocha and a cold brew. The twist and the strudel were perfectly fruity, flaky and soft. The sandwich was freshly made with ham, eggs and cheese. The pistachio croissant was heavenly. Perfectly crusty and flaky, a light pistachio pastry cream in the center, covered in crushed pistachios and sugar, without being overly sweet.Cannot wait to come back and try more.“
