My favorite restaurant is Ventura. Don't let the location fool you, this place is AMAZING. I usually go for breakfast, but I'll be coming back to try the lunch and dinner plates as well.
Yes, this hole-in-the-wall eatery is located in a strip mall next to the DMV. But who cares when the food is this good? The Carne asada was tender, the Ranchero sauce was delicious, and the house made tortilla chips were still warm when they hit my table. And the burritos are BIG. You won't leave hungry.Big flavor, big portions, reasonable prices, good Mexican food.
