“We ordered the number donut for our son’s birthday and it was a huge success. The donuts are delicious there, the big one was perfect inside and out and was more than enough to serve 8 people. The business was really easy/friendly to work with, plus the price was good and well worth it! “This very unassuming donut spot honestly has the best donuts in Ventura. I don't know what it is, but even a basic boring plain glazed is amazing. The donuts are perfectly soft on the inside with a hint of vanilla and have that delectable crunch on the outside. I definitely put the flavor, freshness, and taste higher than Rolling Pin in Camarillo. For me this place is the best, than Spudnuts and Rolling Pin in 3rd. I highly recommend it.“
“This has been our family's go-to donut spot for about 10 years. My husband and I would get our morning donuts for youth group here and always have had pleasant experiences. I don't know what it is, but they have the best custard filled donuts. Taliyah is so sweet and helpful. I usually just take my donuts to go, but the location has a subtle simple vibe of you wanted to stay.“

“Located off Wells and the 126, these huge delicious donuts are a must try. These are fluffy, thick, massive donuts, without the grease you get at other donut shops. The density of each is nice but not doughy like some places. My personal favorite was the chocolate bar that left me feeling like I just had 2. The maple round was tied for first, with a layer of maple that filled the middle. Everyone at the office loved these. One bite and I knew I had to try a second donut, no matter how full the first left me. A second bite and I found myself closing my office door for some alone time, as this donut and I were having a sensual experience. Like George Castanza eating a pastrami sandwich I found my heart start to race as my breathing quickened. I ran for another before the office vultures picked at them. Back in my office I again closed the door and found myself saying "mine, you're all mine, my precious" in a Gollum voice from Lord of the Rings. I think I may have found my new favorite donut shop in the Ventura County. That's this critic's review, until next time, I'll be eating.“
“Just tried Russel's for the first time. Wow!The buttermilk and apple fritter were the best I've ever had.Fritter was perfectly crisp on the outside yet moist and full of apple and cinnamon flavors on the inside. The buttermilk was exactly what you'd want it to be.Combine that with great customer service and you gotta try this place out!“
