Every time we visit Ventura from San Diego we always try to come to Ventiki. I am a huge fan of tiki themed bars and lounges and I've been to many. This is a very small place and many people want to experience it. Patience is the key and don't get snooty and uptight with the staff and they in turn will treat you right. I was up in Ventura for the day, so decided to look for a cool bar to check out. When I saw there was a tiki bar, I knew exactly where I was going! Ventiki is a little off the beaten path of Main street. I almost thought I had missed it or something because it feels a bit hidden away even though it's on a corner. Gosh I want to give this more stars but it's just ok. Lovely server. Bouncer was intense. Drinks were good. Very pricey. Outside tiki drinks on a rainy night is a special kind of hang.
