I have to give 4 stars just for the animals. Although when I pass some animals I feel truly sad as they do not look happy at all (such as the polar bear, it is just too hot).But all in all it is beautiful zoo near the ocean.I am just deducting a star because even with the membership they charge you for parking which is 10$ and everything in the zoo is just way overpriced (drinks and food). I attended an alumni reunion event at this location. The press club has a professional and attentive staff, classy atmosphere, great selection of wine and beer. Food is also quite excellent, but expect sampler platters rather than a meal. My only suggestion for improvement would be to expand the menu.

Ventura Beach club is one of our not so many go to's....i love love that it has the potential for 2 soundstages outdoor/indoor options for both entertainment and cocktails.... Ventura Beach club is spacey enough to have all kinds of different events from a small quince to a large wedding to even a small concert....
