Recently went here paid for a 12 piece chicken meal when I got home to serve my family I noticed I was only given 8 pieces of chicken so I immediately called them and told them they told me to come back and they would give me a free side for the inconvenience when I returned apparently the manager on duty thought this was funny when the employee went to explain to him about the order being wrong he was saying something to her and apparently was laughing because I had this experience so therefore I will not be eating at El Pollo Loco anymore because this was not a laughing matter at all not with the prices they are charging for the 12piece family meal and then the chicken was overcooked and dry as well

Their chicken tastes good but I am not giving them 5 stars because of their menu coupon. They make me spend more. I don't want more than what I need. It's not a convenient and friendly place. I hope their customer service improves as far as dealing with coupon orders will make business better.
Now I always want to give an El Pollo at least four stars. The chicken is always cooked really well since it's an open flame and it's healthy but what I don't like is customer service. I don't know what happened after 2021 but I am really ready to just always eat at home customer service everywhere has seem to go down the drain. So we go last night through drive-through. My husband has a coupon that came in the mail eight piece $20 that's the family mail when we get to the window. The lady will not except it. It Hass to be the $27. They are no longer doing the $20 I will be contacting their corporate office, but starting over in the drive-through my husband asked for the 8 piece family meal she's asking him what sides does he want and then just decide to start speaking to us in Spanish. So I kind of responded with " what" and asked her to speak English all of this, I said, in Spanish. She proceeds to speak again to us in Spanish so then I just said no Habla Espanol she thought it was funny and giggled. You're not gonna force me to speak a language that I'm not that familiar with only enough to get by and then think it's funny. Come on El Pollo you have got to do better not everyone speak Spanish I'm trying, but darn.
