Enjoyed the juices and paletas a lot this week cuz of temps of August 2025. Biggest variety ever seen. Nieces luvd all the choices. The soups actually helped cool us down 2. Great trick! The horchata is incredibly fresh & has quality flavor no matter the temp.

People are fantastic. Patio is like a lazy river of relaxation. Lots of options. Fireplace just off 2 side of the epic & iconic Villa Park Water Tower is perfect for keepN feet toasty. Seating under the Tower is brilliantly lit up by a elegant chandelier. Patio has layered covering and wood is covered in vibrant and colorful flora.

Attached to 1 of best pastry stores in all Cali.
We enjoy sitting on patio near fireplace and water tower ( lots of TVs). Or enjoying lots of comfort food at bar counter.

He's so personable, asked me exactly what meat I wanted and made sure I got that piece (garlic picanha- INSANE). The other servers that helped us (Juliano, Patricia, Deborah) were equally as amazing and attentive. I truly cannot say any more good things. “Super nice speakeasy with generous pouring and extremely attentive staff. The ambiance is very nice. Josh (server) and Yin (owner) are fantastic hosts. The drinks are very creative and delicious. If you want something mainstream, you could also get wine. A great place to get some glassware as keepsakes!

The owner also operates the Rabbit Hole and another location at the packing area.

“The burgers were amazing- so tender and juicy for a default medium/medium well burger! The fried chicken sandwich was also so juicy and yet crispy, in fact I think my friend and I both preferred that, please don’t tell the owners! Just kidding..but it was great. Very light batter, but just enough crunch. The mochi waffle was yummy, and the combo of hot waffle and cold ice cream was uber-comforting. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a simple but extremely well thought-out meal.”

“The Duck Confit Spliff is a great representation of the Vietnamese & French cultures “wrapped” up all in one dish. And for a more traditional & fun way to eat it, you definitely have to use your hands. My only wish was for a little more duck in the spliff.

With the Ebelskivers, the concept was again brilliant. The garlic emulsion creates an intense garlic flavor but in a light and airy way. But like takoyaki, I wish there was more escargot in the batter to remind me more of that chewy feel from the traditional dish.

The surprise star of our meal was the Royale with Cheese. The wagyu had great flavor and char. And the sesame seed bun held up well for this napkin-required burger. But those pickles were amazing nuggets of necessity to add balancing acidity to the richness of the dish.

We definitely want to try the Duck Breast, the Spanish Octopus, and the Prix Fixe Meal on future visits. A final thanks to Chef & Curtis for the friendly service and explanation of the menu.”
