We decided to try Al's Donuts tonight because Scotty's donuts was running low on my favorites. The donuts are amazing! The service was great. We will be coming back again.
I'm a native Visalia and I've never had a donut from Al's. We recently started a pursuit for the best donut in Visalia, and Al's needed to be tried. We did so, and got a dozen. They were...I guess they were ok. I'd say they were average "donut shop" donuts. Nothing horrible going on, no gourmet to speak of, but again, they need not be. These donuts were nothing to write home about but, we had no complaints.

Don't ask me why, but after a hard weightlifting session I go for a protein shake and a single donut. I grew up in Visalia and Tulare and recently moved back. I thought I had been to most donut places. Like a lot of people I grew up on Scotty's. However, I popped in here after my work out for the first time and I can say without a doubt these are the best donuts in Visalia and Tulare. Highly underrated establishment.
