My favorite place to get shaved ice from! The staff is always so nice and welcoming here. My boyfriend and I come so often that she started to remember our order.
Oh man they have THE best chocolate chip cookie ever! Super clean place Ample seating They have thrifty ice cream too!!! More than a hotdog burger dive, they have bbq pork, smoothies, shaved ice, and more!

Had lunch with my boss. Pastrami sandwich was great. My boss had a burger and fries covered with cheese and jalapeños. Excellent service and great food. I will be back.

This was the first time me and my son ate at this place. I was her once before with my sister we had ice cream but this time around we got the bbq Hamburger with fries and a drink it was delicious. The ice cream was delicious and my son said The shave was really good and the staff was very helpful. The manager Danielle and employee Veronica were very helpful and very nice. I am definitely going to recommend and come back to try the chili dog and the pastrami sandwiches

Our new favorite place to take our kids to celebrate anything and everything or just because we fill like a special treat! Danielle (sorry if I spelled that wrong) always makes sure that we are taken well care of. Even our 2 14 year olds wanted to give her a tip because she is so nice and friendly. Introduced my boys to their 1st Rueben and that is now what we get every time we go. Husband gets a different menu item every time (many to choose from) and they have all been great! And then there is dessert! We have had hawaiian shaved ice- the real way with ice cream at the bottom, the brownie bomb, a banana split, and real thrifty's ice cream shakes and malts! Every time we need to fill up our water bottles we drive way out of our way to go here. Nice to be able to get water and enjoy some quality family time together at a place we all choose! And seriously while every other place is so expensive these days we can not believe how much food and dessert we get for such a great price!Parking: Always parkingKid-friendliness: Everyone has been very friendly

In a world where one knows most food places, brands, what to expect etc, I have been Delighted by water shack. I discovered it when Carmelita's cut back hours, and I still need Shave Ice... Once I found Water Shack, it was doubly nice to see they have also unusual, tasty and hard to get items like good Pastrami sandwiches, baked onion rings, Thrifty ice Cream, and yummy 75 cents cookies to boot ... Everyone who works here is great; maybe like 8 people. Really is an unusual place being based around water - but also as noted yummy hard to find foods. I drive all the way from Encinitas to come here; worth the drive! I'll also sometimes go to Surfing Crab just off the 15... Cheers!
