“Phenomenal ! First time trying them (delivery) and this is easily in my TOP 5 food places in the WHOLE BAY AREA! I scooped two prefix 4 course meals (beef patties, oxtail, blueberry blue match lemonade, and dessert of the day - a blue pastry & currant pastry) plantains, Accra salt fish fritters and mango turmeric peach cobbler. I wanted to try a little bit of a lot. The smell was heavenly, the portions were generous and the first bite made my eyes roll back. I can't imagine what this must taste like in person. This was the PERFECT pre Valentine's Day surprise dinner! Small but amazing touches that put this over the top: The salad had tomatoes and cucumbers, not just random lettuce. And the dressing was on the side (so we can control how much) plus it was well balanced in flavor. The oxtail was separate from the rice in its juices so the rice didn't get mushy and the oxtail was flavorful and juicy. The desserts were the perfect amount of sweet. It didn't taste like just sugar, you could really experience the spices.“
“4 stars because although It was good,it wasn't quite the traditional jamaican i am use to. The service was above and beyond amazing. It is actually safe to park there. I ordered jerk chicken with steam veggies. Although I loved the veggies, they are not the traditional cabbage and carrots that I am use to. The jerk chicken was tender, and boy did they give me a lot of chicken but I paid for it too lol. The meal is quite pricey and I wanted more spice to the chicken lol (And yes I know jerk is not that spicy in Jamaica but I personally like the spicy jerk lol). Good juice. I will be back to taste other items.Parking: Parking lot behind the store can be full but street parking is not great. Again, it is safe to park there!“
“La Fritanguera delivers an authentic taste of Nicaragua with every bite. From classic dishes like Gallo Pinto to flavorful Carne Asada, each dish is bursting with traditional flavors and expertly prepared. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff only enhance the dining experience. A must-visit for anyone craving a delicious Nicaraguan meal!” The Nica sampler is highly recommended.“
“My first visit to Lita's was an amazing experience I will never forget. Our reservation was for a party of 5. We visited around 6:30pm, on a Thursday evening. We were celebrating two birthdays. Street parking was very convenient. Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted by the one and only Chef Sean Streete. After a brief conversation, we were led to our seats my the hostess. There was a moderate amount of patrons dining inside and outside. The music playing provided a really nice vibe. The kitchen had an open view so we were able to see the cooking crew busy at work. Once seated, the waitress approached and gave a little history on Chef Sean. She then took our drink orders. A few minutes passed then our drinks arrived. We then placed our food order. We ordered the black pepper shrimp and shrimp ceviche, the Cassava Risotto w/steak, braised oxtails w/rice & peas and sweet plantains. We also enjoyed Lita's house made chips & dip, Caribbean street corn, coconut braised pork belly tacos, pineapple upside down cake, key lime curd, chocolate passion cake and Lita donut holes. Order any of the above and you will be pleased. Our servers were wonderful, very friendly and knowledgeable about the meals. Chef Sean came out toasted and conversed with us. He even wished the birthday ladies a very Happy Birthday. We enjoyed great service, great food/drinks and the ambiance was awesome. We are forever thankful to Chef Sean and his crew. We will definitely return. I highly recommend Lita's for a wonderful dining experience. Lita's get two thumbs up.“
