I came to this location to pick up my mobile order, upon arriving I realized I had placed my order in a completely different location. When I went to reorder the cashier told me not to worry they would get my order out to me with no additional charge. Very kind of them to do that, additionally as I would have been a mobile order a barista immediately started on my order effectively allowing me to cut the line so to speak. It actually made my day as I was already running a bit late to work.

I bought iced mocha, I've been in the bathroom for 2 hours... I recommend it if you're having trouble going to the bathroom... everything comes

Coffee was pretty good, but I was a little shocked at how long it took. From the time I placed my order of Black Coffee no cream or sugar ot took approximately 15 min to come out. And it was not that busy. The atmosphere is very friendly and inviting. The lounge area was comfortable and parking was plentiful. I'll be coming back for sure, great place to meet, hopefully the production is able to improve on their timing.Dietary restrictions: They did not have any gluten free options that the staff was aware ofParking: The spaces have a time limit and they range so pay attention where you park so a longer stay doesn't land you a ticket

Standing in a line was great. Many interesting people you can meet there. After about 12min I gave up so I did not try the coffee. I've heard it's pretty good but given that people who were already waiting when I came in were still waiting for their order when I was leaving you should give it about 20-25 mins to get a coffee. The line was not very long. Maybe having more than one person at a counter would help

I genuinely like to get Philz coffee when I am in the city (the one by the ball park) and I love it. I go to the one in Walnut Creek for the first time and it was horrible the only person that looked like they were enjoying life was the cashier. Everyone else working there looked like they were working in a Russian gulag mining for coal… you make coffee for Pete’s sake! The attitude from the staff (except the cashier) was terrible they made it feel like I was going to be sentenced to death for asking for a straw… we ended up waiting 30 min for 3 coffees and when we got them they were cold… when I got to the bottom of my coffee it’s like the workers dumped the coffee grounds from my coffee in my cup it was horrible! Honestly who ever is running this coffee shop need to lock in and fire everyone. (except the guy on cashier) Making coffee isn’t hard I do it for free every day for friends and family. So hire some people that can smile or not give attitude. This was just embarrassing…

An Unexpected Adventure with my LatteRating: ★★★☆☆I recently had quite the experience. As usual, I ordered my regular cafe latte a soothing blend of espresso and steamed milk that usually hits just the right creamy, robust, and warming to the soul. It's evident they take their coffee seriously here. However, this time around, things took an unexpected turn. Not long after enjoying my drink, I found myself in uncharted territory. My heart started racing, and anxiety crept in not exactly the relaxing experience one hopes for from a cup of coffee! ? It gave 'coffee jitters' an entirely new meaning! It could have been due to many factors: perhaps too much caffeine on an empty stomachSo while the taste was great and service stellar as always (hence three stars), this jittery experience took away some points for me personally (hence minus two). Laughed about it afterwards though! ? For future visits, I might just opt for half-caff or decaf instead.?

The pastries are on point. A big improvement from options offered at the OG Mission location. The coffee however just isn’t the same. I suppose it’s the inevitable price of expansion but it’s missing something, love perhaps? As far as the heartier food options, I’d go elsewhere. The “Pork Sausage Breakfast Burrito “ was a sausage flavored POTATO burrito. I’m not sure I saw any pork at all.If you come in the morning, get the app and order ahead. If you just walk in and order, you’ll be there a while.

Love Philz coffee, but they are SO SLOW HERE. It often takes 30-60 minutes to get a coffee.

Another stop on our coffee pilgrimage. Ok, I understand Philz is extremely popular and I was excited to try them. We arrived at 11:10 on a Saturday morning. This place was "Philzed" with people. We were unclear where to go to order because there is a bar of baristas to the right upon entering making drinks., and no clear line of people placing orders. A sign directed us deeper into the cafe to place our order, but no one was there to take an order. Swiftly, a young man said he'd be right with us. And he was, and he was super friendly and seemed very happy to be working here. The line begins forming behind us--we got here just in the nick of time! The menu offered several iced coffee drinks, and the ginger snap looked good to me, but I wanted it hot. Our server enthusiastically said it's delicious warm, too. So I ordered that with almond milk. Husband ordered the same. And he had a twice-baked almond croissant, I had the bacon onion croissant. Both were "toasted."The baked goods came available quickly, but we didn't hear our name called. I thought I heard my name called about 3 minutes after placing our order--but it wasn't for me. Hubby went into the main area after about 5 minutes and found our pastries on the counter with the name Lauren--his name is Warren, so he confirmed they were, indeed, ours.He brought them to me and went back to see about the coffees, because it's just insanely busy. The croissants were not warm, but they were crispy. I like to eat my food with my coffee, but still waiting on that. So I started to eat. I have to say, very delish! After about 15 minutes, we finally got the coffee. Hubby was chatting it up with our Barista, and he said she was also extremely pleasant and clearly was enjoying her job. Love that!My drink had zero sweetener. When I placed the order, our server mention it comes with sweetener, and so I was surprised. It had a lot of the spices, nutmeg prominent (and that gives me a little bit of a numbing sensation to my tongue--but not to Hubby--I must have a little allergy). Anyway, I went to get some sugar and they don't have it out for customers to grab. I asked our Barista, Juno, if I could get some sugar and she happily said sure and offered several options. I selected the brown sugar, which she popped into a cup and added a bit of water to dissolve it. Very accommodating! I poured it in my drink and liked it much better. So, five star service here for sure! Lost a star for the slow and disjointed delivery, I think the drink was ok, but not sure why this place is so popular, and for me, not a fan of this particular store. I guess I'm just not hip enough--lol!I'd like to end on a positive note--I love the inclusive, friendly vibe. The store prominently supports the LGBT ‍ community, BLM, and all humans. Bravo!

Delicious coffee with great service! I love the Philtered soul! Extra creamy and less sweet!

Granted while I am writing this review during a busy holiday day, however how the heck does a barista pick up our order and the app tells us it's being made by this person and decides to leave to do other things to leave it to another barista that is already busy doing other things. I never left a bad review but I had to because it wasn't fair for me to wait this long as well. I ordered at 11:50 and didn't get my drink until 12:30. I'll be looking to go to other locations and hopefully it's better.
