“AMAZING quality, a clean ambiance, great service and family friendly. We came for lunch and the rolls we ordered were delicious and the sushi/fish was all so so fresh. The staff was ever so warm, inviting and attentive -- we had a 2 year old with us so eating out can become a thing, but their kiddo friendly options were a hit and the staff checked in on us frequently and never made us feel like "that" family. My two year old had a California roll (real crab, little bits of cucumber and generous avo!), udon noodles and he even killed my miso soup side. We're hoping to come back here for a date night (beautiful interior) to try out some other items from their menu and what looks to be a very generously stocked bar and drink options. “03/05/24- craving for ramen and decided to try this ramen place right here at Martinez! Place is on the area of Wal-Mart. Plenty of parking. Went here to try their ramen and some other dishes. You can seat anywhere. Ordered Tonkatsu ramen no spice, grilled squid and beef and shrimp plate. The tonkatsu is great, not oily, has fresh ingredients and good amount of noodles. There's always add-ons if ever you needed anything added on the ramen. The grilled squid seems to be a bit overcooked as it was a little rubbery, but can be eaten still. Sauce was on the side when you order this. The beef was tender and tasty and best of all grilled enough to have perfect sides of cook time on the edges of the meat. The shrimp was small but ok. Portions are big and can be shared by two. Service by Vivian was excellent! She tends to needs and not bothers the customers while enjoying their tasty meal! I saw people coming in to pick up orders. Prices are fair enough for the quality and taste of the food. Will be back to try more of some great menu here. I thought this place was new as there's a Grand Opening sign, but was told that it's been around for about 3yrs. How could I have not known this before? “We were absolutely thrilled to find this restaurant and give it a try. The customer service was outstanding and the food was delicious. They had many choices which included both small and big portions at great prices. The whole place was clean and the people were really nice. We will definitely come back again to try more tasty things! We had Birria Quesadilla, Birria Tacos, and Fried Chicken Fries. We loved the food and were stuffed! We left feeling happy and had a big smile on our faces. Only regret eating the food faster than we could take a picture of it!Vegetarian options: They have vegetables and good make things without using meat.Dietary restrictions: They are able to give thorough explanations about the food and all ingredients used. Tell them about specific allergens and dietary restrictions. “My first time here for lunch. A two-item combo plate is reasonably priced. I ordered sashimi with teriyaki salmon. The three slices of sashimi were salmon, tuna and yellowtail. Yellowtail had a dallop of ground ginger/garlic which greatly enhanced the taste. I found it amazing that the chef paid attention to such small portion of a lunch. My friend who ordered Hamachi Kama said the portion was the largest she ever seen in the area. It was delicious, too.“
“Teapot is literally the only boba place with mango sagos that I know of in concord, pleasant hill, Walnut Creek and Martínez and they make them SOOO GOOD. I always come here from Walnut Creek because of this drink. Their fruit based drinks are so good in general. They taste very natural and not artificial like other places. “Visited November 12, 2023A Japanese ramen restaurant located in downtown Walnut Creek. I live in Walnut Creek, but Vietnamese pho and Japanese ramen restaurants are rare, so I wanted to try warm soup, so I found this Japanese ramen restaurant online. There is a cooking kitchen and a few tables inside the store, but the space is somewhat narrow.There were about 4 to 5 ramen menu items. I wanted to eat spicy tonkotsu ramen, but it was a bit disappointing that the spiciest item on the menu was limited to tantanmen. I soothed my disappointment by adding spicy sauce to the regular tonkotsu ramen at the table.The food is cooked and served immediately after ordering, but there are a lot of pick-up orders during lunch time, so it may take some time. The ramen broth and toppings are a bit oily. The pork loin was quite thick and had a lot of fat, so I personally found it very unpleasant. However, there was Asahi beer as a draft beer, and it was refreshing and delicious. The karaage was warm and delicious. I don’t really recommend ramen.“
