Been here before for breakfast pre-shutdown times to satisfactory experiences. Nothing to write Yelp about but food and service definitely decent, especially with little or no competition in the area. (nice little drive south of Sac to get away for a little bit on weekends) Come our first post-shutdown visit, the place was quiet but the two people there were pleasant and friendly enough. We asked for water which surprisingly came bottled. Not sure what's the situation with the tap water there but after rinsing my mouth later in the restroom that definitely could be the issue. We ordered lunch food being past 1 and got the mushroom onion burger and patty melt, both with fries. The food was astoundingly good for being such simple fare. The fries were refreshingly awesome, fried crispy and pretty much perfect. The sandwich and burger were super solid as well. I can't recommend this place more for lunch if you're anywhere in the area. I can't wait to go back again for lunch (or breakfast) on my nest weekend drive out.

This is the only place i go when I want biscuits and sausage gravy (they actually make it from scratch). Only 2 people runnin the show this morning. I had breakfast with 2 friends(I didn't have biscuits and gravy, thank goodness) so it took a little while, but the food was worth the wait. I always have a large glass of milk with my meal,however, I will never make that mistake again. ........ Medium will be the choice. I swear the large was 32oz's.....maybe even 64 oz's???.

Traveled up river today for a really nice breakfast/lunch. Quaint, cute and clean! I ordered the Spanish Omelette which was stuffed with all the right goodies! My friend had Bacon & Eggs, she commented on the eggs being cooked perfectly! We enjoyed the food so much we both ordered a sandwich to go, Patty Melt and a Club Sandwich, excellent, we tried a bite when leaving, but are saving them for this evening as we are still stuffed from the breakfast! Check it out, no disappointments here!
Cute cafe facing the river. Had a nice view of the drawbridge. Had the bacon and eggs breakfast. The hashbrowns were very good but a bit greasy. The bacon and eggs were cooked just right. Server was very polite tho not too talkative. He refilled coffee once. Overall it was a very good breakfast and we will return to try more items from the menu.
