Very positive environment. The host is very nice and informative about the town's history. She is also creative by painting the local landmarks and happily share stories of the area.

Too expensive! Decor is vintage and bar is old soda fountain style. We ordered sandwiches and were disappointed. Each sandwich was $10 a bit expensive for two pieces of bread with cheese and a slice of Turkey plus some pickles on the side. They tasted great, like the sandwich you Mom would make for your lunch at school. Wish it came with chips or a drink, but it was a charge for chips $2.50 a tiny Costco bag and Drink made lunch for one $$$.

I'm giving this a five star review because it looks like a really cool place. Unfortunately, like the sign on the front door said it may be open, it might be open, it might not be open, and it almost might not be open! For us, they were closed in the middle of the day on a Wednesday. You might have better luck on the weekends. It is a located on a sleepy little street but with very authentic and old rickety buildings. We drove into the parking area pulling a 26 foot travel trailer and there were no signs warning not to pull down into the street to the parking area for RVs. It is a bit tricky and tight so beware of that. The city is located in a very beautiful rural area and it was worth the 7 mile drive off the 5 freeway to come visit even if we weren't able to taste any of the wonderful menu items at this quirky little restaurant. It has quite a history!

Excellent lunch & service. PBJ w Bacon & Tuna Melt Sandwich's were delicious. Types of chips offered were numerous. Due to the malfunction of the ice cream machine, dessert was Hershey's Almond Bars. Highly recommended.

This. Is. My. FAVORITE place on the delta. The owner is super sweet and knows her Locke history- and WOW- the rooms remind me of many very quaint European B&B‘s that I’ve visited. Very eclectic and so much historic charm. She has been very careful to preserve the history of this building and my goodness is it an interesting one! I’m so in love with this spot. Her prices are very reasonable and I can’t imagine a better getaway from the city than indulging in Chinese American history on the delta in this well-preserved town. Best kept secret in the west.

What a sweet find on a Sunday drive! Worth heading to a a destination, or as a stop off as you travel I-5. Say hi to Martha and "Woofy" her sweet pup that welcomes you out on the sidewalk. We had our pup Winslow with us and we appreciate proprietors that are dog friendly. Breakfast of 2 eggs, bacon and toast is served all day. Hubby had that while I had Martha's yummy tuna melt. Both were cooked perfectly and hit the spot! Coffee was freshly made in a French press, and she had vanilla creamer. Upstairs is a wonderful bed and breakfast that Martha let us tour. There is no wifi, but if you want to get away or just a perfect place to rest and relax, this is it. There are several different rooms and one honeymoon suite with a bathroom and kitchen. Check out on Air B & B, or I'm going to start a Yelp page for the B & B. Come visit this town and the nice people that have a couple cute antique shops to browse.
