“I highly recommend their food for dine-in and take out. I've been their customer for 20+ years, although they changed owners, but the chef remained the same. New dishes are also delicious, and I love their Taiwanese cuisine, especially their rice noodles. Some of my recommendations that I typically order are eggplant with basils, fried eggs with radish, onion pork, beef with ginger and scallion sauce, house special chicken in a pot, house special squid in a pot, fish filet in hot bean sauce, and hot and sour soup,“

“Pho Ha is a family owned chain restaurant throughout CA. Not all locations taste the same. Some better than others.Pho Ha Plus is one of the top 3 locations IMO and the ‘plus’ is like an upscale modern version to the others. At first, the prices seem really steep. I get that it’s inflation and CA. In the end, I realized, their prices justify the portions and meal size as well as service. Highly recommend. All the pho are $18, even the đặc biệt. The bowls are deep with lots of noodles and meat. The beef broth was flavorful with the aroma of all the spices. They really take the time into making the broth, creating soft tender meats. There are 6 vegetarian dishes. I got the lemongrass stir fried tofu with vermicelli. The wrong dish came out and they gave me stir fried lemon grass beef. Dang, that looked yummy and smelled so good!I finally got my corrected dish and I was so happy with it. Other places would have a ton of vegetables and herbs at the bottom of the bowl. With little noodles on top and finally the protein. I dislike that plating because i don’t like to mix my food and I would end up eating only the noodles that was on top. It was also deceiving when you would receive mainly veggies.Well, at Pho Ha Plus, everything was proportional. It was not layered on top of each other but rather next to each other side by side. I saw my food and was able to include it with every bite.My mom got the broken rice charbroiled pork with bean curd. The pork met her high expectations. It was tender and had the smokey char marinated flavor. The bean curd was a bit tough for her dentures. Also got the passion fruit tea which had actual bites of passion fruit. Not too sweet or syrupy. They are also known for their 3 layer dessert which they do not skimp on any of the toppings. One recommendation I would like to suggest is to offer uncooked noodles for pho take out. I assumed and didn’t ask. Was disappointed when I got home with wet sticky noodles and not fresh noodles. The reason for deducting one star to a 4.Overall, excellent food, large portions, attentive staff. Plenty of parking. You’re truly getting authentic Vietnamese cuisine made with love and the best ingredients.“

“Hidden gem for Thai food. Chicken, shrimp, and pork is on point with its flavors. The beef’s texture is a miss, and could be better. Always good to see that it is busy with customers bc the food speaks for itself. The open kitchen shows how clean the restaurant is.“

“Food is delish but the price is on the higher side. Recommended to sign up on the waiting list on Yelp if you are planning to eat during rush hour.So apparently, I heard that the chef of President Thai in Rowland Heights moved to this restaurant.“

“The noodle dishes were very good! We had a largish group, so we tried the first three soups on the menu and a couple of the dry noodle dishes, which were all Delicious. The chicken skewers were all bone and not worth the trouble of eating. The lamb skewers were tasty but greasy. I liked the cumin-heavy seasoning a lot.“

“Had a good time hanging out with my friends. Self-service picking ingredients: vegetables, meat, fish balls, shrimps, noodles, tofu, etc. You pay per pound. I feel good with a lot of varieties. After picking ingredients, you can choose soup from four different soup bases. They will cook and serve you in a big bowl. I love marinated chicken gizzards. I tried mild spicy original bone soup. Would love to try the same soup with medium spiciness and also tom yum soup.“

“After having some ok Beef Noodle Soup in Lomita, I had to come to No 1 Noodle House to do it justice. I ordered Beef & Tendon Noodle Soup with an extra side of pickled cabbage. It is so tasty. Spice is nice. Everytime I come here it just hits the spot.“

“Bowl House is fantastic. Service was on-par and the owners go beyond what you expect. I ordered 34 garlic sesame chicken plates and (some sides for me potstickers with ponzu - awesome, shrimp plate - awesome) - and requested all 34 plates to be prepared by a certain time. Not only was it ready, packed, but William and his wife helped me bring the boxes to my van. All 34 plates were eaten and University of Redlands Mens Water Polo players and coaches. They were super thankful. If I am in La Verne, I would come back to Bowl House. It is in kind of an old town La Verne area where you can park and walk around and visit the local shops. Parking was easy. Thank you so much!“

“Went here for the first time today. Was a late lunch and we were the only customers there. My wife ordered the Chnpon ramen I had the fried chicken ramen. We were served promptly by the efficient server. Both our dishes were flavorful and generous portions. Hard to understand the few reviewers who felt the food was bland. My wife has visited Japan and felt this was an authentic Japanese Raman . This is our go to ramen place. Highly recommended!“

“I will never eat at another sushi place again, especially in this area ! Kisetsu is the real deal. The fish is EXTREMELY fresh and the best quality I have had in a number of years. The service is superb and the owner Joel and team bring a fun vibe while in a nice cozy setting. I can't say enough about how good the food is here and a bonus is the affordable price points ! My friend who doesn't historically eat sushi now eats sushi after eating here! We can't wait to come back very soon. Thank Joel and team for such a great experience !“

“Finally got to try Fennel Bistro during my lunch work hours and it was very satisfying. The meats were cooked deliciously and the flavors were spot on. The clay rice was crispy and well flavored. The meat to rice ratio was perfect for my preference. The place is simplistic and clean. Random, but it was fun to see the steam rise from the clay pots every so often inside, and it feels like a huge humidifier. No issues at all with the service, our waitress was very kind to explain how to pick out and order the clay pot combos.“

“As a Taiwanese in California there’s not a lot of really “good authentic” restaurants, but I’ve lived I. Rowland heights for so many years now and this is by far my favorite stinky tofu restaurant ever and they have amazing service, super kind staff, you can sit outside or inside! Super great and love the food!“

“Hidden gem of a chinese restaurant that serves great chinese breakfast/lunch items. This place had two very specific items that you do not often find in many chinese restaurants. One which my gf really enjoyed was called needle noodles which are noodles that are short about 2 inches in length and are pointy on both ends. It was nostalgic for her eating those noodles from her childhood which her grandparents made.As for me my nostalgic dish was snails, yes you heard it right. It brings me back to childhood too. Not french escargo, but fresh water snails that has a hard plate in front of the shell that protects them from predators. Of course you would eat it picking out the meat with a toothpick. There very limited amount of meat since part of the body contains sand and baby snail shells so only the small bit between the hard plate and the before the twisty bit is edible. Don't eat the sandy part or the consequent snail baby shells which won't taste food. It was funny hearing the neighboring tables inquire the staff about the snails which I guess makes sense since not a common dish. It's an acquired taste here in the states, but in chinese supermarkets they sell snail noodles that will have the flavor of the snails, but no meat since it's laborious to pick out the meat ergo pricey. Give it a try if you are brave enough! There was quite a bit of left over snails so I brought it home and made prepacked snail noodles with actual snail meat which was great!“

“2nd time here. The tendon is not chewy at all. Soft and flavorful. The broth has great flavor too. I have had great service both times. I think this is my new favorite spot.I do wish they would give 2 containers for the togo though. I have to ask for 2. Saving soup with everything together is not my favorite“

“One does not simply order Pho from any regular reataurant. During the chill of the winter months, one's pho must not only be hot enough to warm ones stomach, but the flavor must be equally satiating. Ladies and gentlemen, if you have been tired of subpar pho with equally poor service, I am glad to announce yo you all that your search for the best pho you've ever had is over. Not only is the broth steamy hot, but the specific flavoring this family restaurant utilizes is spectacular. You can tell that it is freshly made and that much effort has been expended to curate the best flavored broth I've EVER HAD. As a pho enjoyer, I can't believe I've never been here before. And if that is not enough, the lovely hostess/waitress, who is also part of the family that owns this business is the kindest and warmest soul I've ever had tend me at a Pho restaurant. The service is prompt, warm, and delivered with care. She's also very humorous and will engage with you in a little small talk!God bless this place. Do yourself a favor and warm yourself up with the most spectacular pho you've ever had.“

“I know good Chinese food. This place is incredibly delicious and authentic Chinese food. Shocked that Yorba Linda finally has a great Chinese restaurant, never thought I would see the day. Will be nice to not have to drive all the way to Irvine or Rowland heights to get the good stuff. Give this place a try, you will not be disappointed.“
“Small, hole-in-the-wall place.Service is pretty fast considering there's only a couple people serving. This place's charbroiled meats are so good! Their vermicelli bowls and rice plates always hit the spot and the sides of egg and pork loaf and shrimp paste wrapped in tofu are tasty as well. You do not need the sweet fish sauce because everything is so flavorful by itself, but it's definitely a nice addition! However, I don't necessarily care for the soups here. Their pho broth is a little bland and imitation crab meat in the seafood soup someone in my party ordered was still cold in the middle.“

“Yesterday was Good Friday. My family and I had originally planned to go have dinner at Grab Crab, but the wait was outrageously long. I believe that when I checked in, we had 18 people ahead of us. So, instead, we decided to go Sosom Ramen Bar & Bossam. Luckily, when we got here, it was nice and empty. We got seated right away, and the order was taken really quickly. This was our second time coming to this place. The first time we came, I dont remember much, but we decided to come back anyway. This round was much rememberable. The waiter was on top of everything, making sure we had refills on our water and gave us extra sides. He checked up on us multiple times to see if we needed anything else. Honestly, the food was just perfect. Like 10 min into our dinner, the restaurant started to fill up. The vibe with the customer everyone enjoyed their food. If you want to try Bossam, this is going to place. I don't think they will let you down. Meat is super tender, and the sauce is yummy. Just writing this makes my mouth water.“

“Stopped by on Saturday noon, but restaurant was not crowded at all. Had a tonkotsu spicy miso ramen. As a ramen lover, the food was OK. I like the soup base and topping but the noodle seems overcooked or maybe it's just the noodle that was mushy and soggy. Tables were unstable, not just one, and I hope that could be fixed.“

“It's good not your typical Korean BBQ. First, the prices are very reasonable. Enclosed but open air on the golf course, kind of like a large patio, so it does not get too smoky like a regular k-bbq restaurant. Banchan side dishes are good quality and well prepared, place is clean and airy. Excellent service, good quality meat, and larger than average portions for the price. Definitely worth a try if in the mood for Korean bbq!“

“Food is excellent, really tasty and would for sure to back. Giving it 4 stars instead of 5 for two reasons.. ambiance is ok, kinda putting lipstick on a pig of a building, but without a full remodel it's a decent job. Second reason 4 not 5 is that I've been to the Santa Monica location and the food / ambience was better, not way better but still better. Yum yum, if you like this type of food and want a casual dining experience, go try it out.“

“I've been looking forward to trying bafang and it did not disappoint! For $13 you can get 6 potstickers and a nice sized bowl of noodles! Although none of the food blew me away I thought everything I had was tasty and was great quality for mall food (especially for the price). The potstickers had good flavor and went well with their sauces but they could be a bit more crispy. The noodles were really nice and chewy and had great sauces! Service was quick and we got our food in about 10 minutes. The worker was nice and explained their menu to us when we asked. Overall a great addition to brea mall and I would recommend people give it a try!“

“Taiwanese fast food self serve restaurant. Lunchtime (Sunday) is very hard to get a seat before 2 pm so take out maybe a better opinion. Noodles are very delicious and al dente. Probably the cheap eats here because no tips included, and come back to try more next time.“

“This place does hit the spot when you are craving some soup. It's a small hole in the wall where there is just 1 cook and a server/cook. The server fries stuff as well if you order anything that needs frying. I like the old man's soup that has a little bit of tendon, beef, and tripe. Little veggies but it is enough for one person. Great on a cold day. Only bad part is that if the server goes out for a smoke, he smokes right by the door and you can smell it inside. They also don't ask if you want anything to drink like water so you gotta tell them if you want anything and not assume you'll automatically get it. Other than drinks, beef noodle soup is good. The tonkatsu ramen was a bit salty but noodles where still good. Will come back for my beef soup.“

“Best fried noodle (no.12) in town and I would say it is even better than a similar fried noodle in Hong Kong ( no matter it is Indonesia or Chinese style). Chicken satay also great with a little bit burn finish, tendered thigh, and the peanut sauce is awesome! However the sticky rice is Soso that the texture is not the best I tried and it doesn't with enough coconut flavour.“

“The service is friendly and kind. The food has wonderful flavors and the best I have found in the area. I've tried other restaurants and they are lacking flavor and freshness. We always order enough for a few days and it stays fresh and flavorful. I recommend this restaurant if you want better than average tasting food. The Orange Chicken is so flavorful. The beef is tender and melts in your mouth. Kung Pao is perfectly spicy. Those are the staples of our orders. We add a new one every time just to change it up and haven't been disappointed.“

“The Hainan chicken rice combo set for 2-3 people is a must-get. The chicken is smooth and juicy, with skin, no bones. It comes with chicken broth, marinated cucumbers, spiced peanuts, chicken broth rice, and two condiments (ginger scallion oil and a sour sweet chili sauce). I also like the potato noodle soup. The soup includes quail eggs, small meatballs tofu skins, kelp noodles, and baby bok choy.“
