Discovered Burd Chicken rice on the SGV Eats FB page and decided to check it out! My partner and I ordered the special - Classic Burd Rice (dark meat) and the 50/50 drink. It was really good! The rice was so flavorful and chicken was perfectly seasoned. The salad could've included a little more variety. I think it was just shredded cabbage. The food was very fresh and loaded with flavor, free infused water that wouldn't cost at some fancy spot, the service was great, the place gave a very friendly hometown feel, not sure if it was the owner or not but he treated like a friend and offered me something complimentary, I love vibe and the food I'll be back!!! Great new spot. I got the mix plate and iced coffee, and both were great. The chicken was tender and the sauces were really flavorful. Loved the coffee as well, it's really bold and roasty.
