If you're starting an evening of debauchery, I think WeHo's oldest gay bar is a good place to start because it has a decidedly low-key vibe compared to its louder neighbors. The popular spot also felt like it skewed older which was fine by me and Jamie W. We skew that way, too. Been nearly a decade since my last review. Not much has changed here. Still the stiffest drinks at a reasonable price. They remodeled the space during the pandemic and expanded the patio. Bathrooms are maybe a tiny bit nicer. Mother Lode is the last true gay dive bar in West Hollywood. Fubar and Gold coast are gone. Trunks changed. During the day this is a 40+ (even 60+) crowd.
