Overall 3.5 stars. We got there about 7:20 pm and thought they closed at 9 pm as that was on google. But they closed at 8 and basically they were rushing us to finish the food and pay the bill as it was after 8 and rushed us out. They didn't even clear up our table and closed up. They don't speak much English and cater to Vietnamese which validates the authenticity of the dishes. We were a party of 3 and ordered several appetizers and the Bun Bo Hue Dac Biet to share. We had the Vietnamese fried mochi dumpling, steamed rice cake with shrimp and pork skin dish, clear cake with shrimp and pork in banana leaf, and the flour cake with shrimp. Overall the food was good and the flavours were light and not too rich but the shrimps in the various dishes except the flour cake were not very fresh and was hard to peel the shell off.

Great family restaurant with Central VN/ Hue dishes expertise. My bun bo hue was great.

We decided to give this place a try after exploring the plaza that has Nok's Kitchen and Tasty Sandwiches. We wanted to eat here to support this restaurant because this place barely has any customers sometimes on the weekend. Also, we wanted to try out a new BBH place. Sadly, this place does not live up to our expectation of what good BBH is. We were excited to try out banh it ram bc I ever had those before in my life, however, the texture of the fried banh it ram was so hard it was more of a hard texture that can break someone's teeth rather than being crispy and crunchy. The flavors were lackluster and bland too. The nuoc mam was the only thing that saved that dish. Rating the banh it ram a 2/5. Now on to the Bun Bo Hue (BBH), the noodles were so hard and not soft and chewy and they tasted like someone just microwaved the BBH soup that was left overnight in the fridge. The broth was so bland and flavorless. I could barely taste any lemongrass flavor and any spice in it. It was that bland. Furthermore, the pork hoc and meats were so chewy, I wished they were more tender, soft, and less chewy. Our family said that this place has the most bland BBH (Vietnamese Beef Spicy Noodle Soup) that you could ever eat. It was that bad. Rating this a 1/5. The drinks were too artificially sweet for hot tea and iced tea. They did not taste natural at all. The only thing that I liked about this place was that the owner was super friendly and welcoming. He was so nice to us. Parking is spacious and the restaurant is pretty spacious and has some decor and paintings but that's about it. Probably not going to come back to this place since they are way other places around in Little Saigon that has much better Bun Bo Hue and probably would not recommend this place to anyone that's craving BBH. You will be disappointed in how flavorless the broth is.

Summary: great food, reasonable price, difficult parking during peak hours, but will definitely come back My husband had a craving for Bun Bo Hue, so we headed to this place to satisfy his request. Our order included Bun Bo Hue, Com Hen (rice with baby clams), and Banh Beo. I asked for the veggies in my Com Hen to be on the side, allowing me to enjoy it to the fullest, although the broth was a bit heavy. The Banh Beo was served with crunchy pork skin and finely minced shrimp on top, accompanied by a side of fish sauce to pour over. The Bun Bo Hue truly stood out, cooked to perfection. Parking was quite challenging on the weekend, as the lot was completely packed when we arrived at noon.

This is my first time trying this place, and I found the service to be acceptable. The restaurant is quite clean. We ordered two dishes and shared them. The Banh bèo chén was delicious and enjoyable. However, the Bánh canh was disappointing. It lacked freshness and seemed to be made with old ingredients. Initially, I thought I might be too sensitive, but when I asked my mom, she shared the same opinion. We won't be returning to this restaurant.

This restaurant offers popular Huế and other Central Vietnam dishes like bánh bèo, bún bò (pictured), bánh khoái, mì Quảng. Providing Central Vietnamese restaurants are scarce, especially outside of Vietnam, this is a decent choice.

Huong Bay is as authentic as they come. Even the staff speak with a thick Central Vietnamese accent.Everything is a masterful recreation of the originals, you can even wash it down with a cold beer at 9am

I like some dishes there. Service is ok since most of the waiters are old guys. It is all good.

My mì quảng was expected to be really good but just so-so! Service is unknown until you ask different person. Waiters should get more training professionally in this type of business. But when I look at the dishes from my friends they all look goodHopefully they will improve next time when I have a chance to come again

The Bun Bo is not bad. Good flavor. Clear crisp broth. Lacks the strong lemongrass smellAnd herb aroma. Once you add the veggie, it's a bit bland. Good portion for the price. The cha hue is good and chewy texture. The banh beo is ok. Very pretty presentation and nice abundant toppings. The dough could be a bit more chewy. Fish sauce is good.
