He brought back two lattes: the sweet corn latte, topped with a unique corn foam, and the Tiger latte. The sweet corn latte was surprisingly different, but I found the corn foam paired really well with the coffee's flavors. The Tiger latte, on the other hand, tasted like a classic, regular latte—good, but nothing too extraordinary. I’m not a coffee connoisseur or daily drinker, so I just go for what tastes good, and both drinks definitely fit the bill!
He also picked up a couple of bread options: a cream cheese garlic bread and a hot dog croissant. Both were delicious and made for a fun treat alongside the coffee. I hope to visit this coffee shop myself sometime soon to try more of their drinks and baked goods.”

For a first time I got the chicken teriyaki bowl because I don't really care for the veggies, but when you get the plate meals, you get a lot of salad with the meal! Their salad dressing looks like ranch dressing (in case you were curious). I have had both the chicken and beef but to me, the chicken is the best. The staff were all friendly and provided great customer service. Both interior and exterior are kept very clean and there's plenty of parking.”

“I was told about this place from an out of town coworker that has relatives near by. The owner/cook was very hospitable and everything was surprisingly low priced. Tacos were very tasty and well balanced. I would go back definitely. The only thing I didn’t really like was the parking lot cause its entrance is very close to a busy blvd with fast traffic. You have to exit very carefully. I recommend either parking in the back, side street or back in.”

I think it's great they came into a location that has very mediocre Thai restaurants around with decent ambiance but low quality food. Instead of focusing on a dine in experience, this place is all about delicious Thai take out.
The drunken pad noodles and spaghetti are great and Thai level spicy.
The pineapple fried rice is also delicious.

This is inside a little mini mall atmosphere building I would have never found it if it hadn't been I was meeting a friend. By the way the food the barbecue is awesome it is unbelievably good The meat was just so tender and that barbecue sauce was absolute heaven on earth. I love the atmosphere. It was so nice and cool inside parking was a bit of a nightmare but it was worth it to have lunch at the pit and bull. Bathrooms provided an indoors very clean great atmosphere there's a lot of picnic tables set up where you can pick what restaurant food you want pizza or barbecue or there's a bakery in there that has the most awesome desserts I got a cherry pie and an apple pie They were $9 They were a little mini pies. All I can say is I highly highly did I mention highly recommend this place It is unreal awesome 👍🏽😎”

Everything in New China is cooked on request, so the food is fresh. Some dishes can take an hour, two, or three hours to prepare. So order your food about one to two hours ahead when you want to pick it up, and they will prepare it for that time so it is hot off the wok.
We love this place. We discovered it earlier this month, in January 2025, and have already been twice as a group of six. We order way too much food to sample, which still comes under $30 per person.
This is the absolute freshest, tastiest Chinese food around. One of our couples has been eating Chinese around the Whittier area for over 30 years, and they were also there for the first time this month. They were jonesing to go back so soon. We still need to try the moo shu pork. I need to order that one 3 hours ahead of time.
One woman does everything out front, and two or three men cook in the back. The last time we arrived, two other couples were dining, and the service was excellent. That night, there was a notice on the door that said no drop-in take-out (see above about ordering ahead). Service can be slower if several groups arrive simultaneously, but the food is well worth it. If you want, you can take your time at this restaurant with a dinner lasting two or three hours and won't be rushed out. It's a great place to go as a group or a couple.”

Always have a hard time getting a server or anyone who speaks Spanish in any food place here and all over la Habra. My better half is Spanish/Spain he likes to gossip, lol. He is a charmer, boys will be boys. Like I said, great service, great everything, and super clean. I always go during breakfast time. I like the breakfast burger, round tater tots, and only drink Coke Cola.”

“Wow, the taste was amazing - both the pho and the cucumber lemonade. The pho was richly and deeply flavored and was satisfying while still being bright and fresh feeling. The service was very prompt, friendly and helpful - the server understood my not liking overly sweet drinks and recommended the cucumber lemonade as refreshing while still having sweetness. It was, indeed, refreshing and sweet - perfectly balanced flavors. The server also wisely suggested we package the noodles and broth of our leftovers seperately. I almost never eat out, but I would if I lived near Soup Shop.”
