“Solid spot for Japanese-Korean food in Whittier. The menu is small but focused which I like. We got the Cheese Katsu meal, Omurice, and Egg Sando. The Katsu was cooked well, not too greasy, very flavorful. The Omurice was my fave, fluffy and the sauce was really good. Another highlight was the Yuzu Panna Cotta we got for dessert. It was citrusy, not too sweet, great texture, we really enjoyed it. Their Matcha Yuzu-ade was refreshing as well. Good service and a relaxed atmosphere. We will be coming back to try some things we weren't able to fit in this time around.”

We started with an Azabu Old Fashion and Lemon Drop Martini....perfectly crafted and served. For appetizers, we enjoyed: Wagyu Dumplings and Spicy Garlic Edamame. For our mains: Toro Uni sashimi (incredible!), and Salmon sashimi. Spicy Tuna and Albacore rolls and the Denver Wagyu Carpaccio (with Hot Stone). Desert: Ube Japanese Cheesecake! If you are looking for that perfect night out, enjoying delicious food in a warm romantic setting, you won't miss here. I will definitely be coming back!”

I hosted my mother's 80th birthday celebration at this aesthetically, beautiful restaurant about three weeks ago, and let me tell you our guests are still raving about it! This place is truly a hidden gem in Whittier.

From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The Oaxaca-style food was outstanding, rich in flavor and beautifully presented. The dessert was a definite hit with everyone, and the ambiance was exactly what we had envisioned-warm, inviting, and perfect for such a special occasion.

Xotchil, one of the owners, was an absolute pleasure to work with-professional, extremely accommodating, and incredibly responsive to every question and request I had. Her team-Liz, Ines, and Raul-were equally amazing: friendly, attentive, and very professional throughout the entire event.

We were also grateful that the owners allowed us to bring in a Mariachi band, a Dueto band, and even a photo booth to make the night even more memorable. It was truly a magical and heartfelt evening, and I couldn't be more thankful for how everything came together.

This milestone celebration meant so much to our family, and choosing this venue was one of the best decisions I made. Thank you to the entire team for your excellent service and for helping create such a beautiful and unforgettable memory for my mother and all of us!”

There is very little space for eating and half the dining area is taken up by supplies. It best just to take your food elsewhere. But a must try with it's huge delicious portions”

“Came to the fairly newly reopened El Bueno Gusto for dinner and happy that we did. As it was a nice night, we chose to sit in quaint patio area. We were brought out tasty chips and salsa and the attentive waitress took our drink order. Just fyi, beer and wine is only served inside.
We ordered the fish tacos and shrimp fajitas. Boy, they were extremely tasty, really fresh flavors. The beans and rice were good.
Prices were reasonable as well!
We will be back to try the asada and other meat dishes.
Looks like they are open for breakfast too.”

Always have a hard time getting a server or anyone who speaks Spanish in any food place here and all over la Habra. My better half is Spanish/Spain he likes to gossip, lol. I like the breakfast burger, round tater tots, and only drink Coke Cola.”

“Hole in the wall but wow that price for a super burrito! Burrito was nothing to brag about. Ordered a super burrito with buche and asada. $26..... They needed to heat it up more, the cheese was not remotely melted, I guess I shouldn't have ordered it with everything, the salad probably cooled everything down. Cause the burrito was not piping hot like how I would have liked it.
That being said omg this is a giant burrito larger than a smart water bottle.”

Great place when you want to munch on some good Mexican food. Atacor is a true gem that has a special place in my heart. Their salsa is one of a kind and kicks up any dish here. If you're hungry, try the Super Burrito it's worth it!”

“I was told about this place from an out of town coworker that has relatives near by. The owner/cook was very hospitable and everything was surprisingly low priced. Tacos were very tasty and well balanced. I would go back definitely. The only thing I didn’t really like was the parking lot cause its entrance is very close to a busy blvd with fast traffic. You have to exit very carefully. I recommend either parking in the back, side street or back in.”

“Been coming here since the 90s when my mom would bring us as kids. We moved a few times and still make the drive. The owner and staff are very friendly and the food is sooooo good. I will post pics next time I go. I always forget and we all dig in. Its my husband's and kids favorite spot too. We come here for birthdays and just because and make the 1 hr 30 minute (thats with no traffic) drive . I love that this is now a tradition for my lil family.
