A Toda Madre Mexican Kitchen

Unfortunately it appears it's more about the appearance of the restaurant than the food. I'm in food service and I must say, you cannot treat black beans the same as refried. It looked like something baby poo. The rice was cold, the server was practically non existent. If it wasn't for the HR Mgr, we wouldn't have had any service. Great service from start to finish. The cafe de oja was delicious. My husband and I ordered completely different breakfasts. I had the French toast with cajeta and fruit with a side of eggs and bacon. The French toast was made just right. It was light and tasted yummy. My husband ordered chilaquiles de mole with Tinga and over medium eggs. The mole was delicious. I kept picking at it. The portions they serve are generous. We arrived in the morning for breakfast so staff was still setting up. Service was quick and polite. Presentation was nice but food was average. Did love the cafe de olla though. I'll be coming back to try their dinner menu.
