“Came on their first Sunday brunch BUFFET, which we were not expecting, but were pleasantly surprised. The American breakfast fare was pretty boring and unexceptional (scrambled eggs overcooked, potatoes undercooked, etc.), but the Mexican food was ON POINT. Chilaquiles, tacos, and omelettes made to order. Fresh pozole and ceviche. Bottomless mimosas and micheladas (I opted to order a margarita, which was extra, but SO WORTH IT. The Guavarita with fresh guava, lime and pineapple was AMAZING.) The service was great. They accommodated my stroller and baby solicitously (and didn't freak out when I accidentally spilled powdered formula on the ground lol). The manager gave us a tour of all the buffet stations (including a chocolate fountain). Waiter checked in on us regularly and refilled drinks often. The chef himself even ran back to the kitchen to grab some cotija for my chilaquiles (note: would be cool to have cotija and queso fresco for chilaquiles as opposed to a shredded blend). Only complaint is that they kept reminding us that we only had 2 hours to eat and then giving us a count down, like “you have 20 minutes left” “you've got 5 more minutes.” Why are you trying to get rid of us? It's not like we were trying to stay until dinner time lol. We had just one plate of food each and there were plenty of empty tables. If you had made us feel welcome to stay and chat, we would have probably ordered more drinks. It detracted from the experience and felt kinda low rent, which made the price per head seem extra. Definitely will go back, but maybe just order a plate off the menu so I'm not being timed while I eat.”
“Tucked into a nice area of restaurants and bar we had to try Steve’s BBQ because of a video we saw on TikTok. My friend and I split the BBQ Mac and Cheese. We got it with brisket, it was actually super high quality and would definitely get it again. I also ordered coleslaw to go cause the pictures looked nice and creamy. But the star of the show was the BBQ Mac and Cheese.”

“We enjoyed this place but at times it does get very busy so there is a wait. I ordered pancakes and cheese omelette. The portions are sufficient to share or take home leftovers, especially if you’re not a big eater. Overall, I would return for pancakes.”

Both of us split a bowl and mushrooms tacos on gluten free tortillas. They splits -plated our food so that was really nice that we did not have to.The Tacos had amazing flavors, we asked to add pickled onions to additional tang. It was great.The bowl with tofu and brown rice, while good could use a little bit more flavoring. We got the dressing on the side that added some depth, but I feel something else can be added to the bowl to up the umami flavors.Overall a good choice. Pricing was a bit on th higher side , unfortunately, in-line with most places these days.Vegetarian options: Very customizable options.”

“First time trying this place, I brought my Aunt and wife for lunch and the ambiance is great open concept with heaters outside if it's cold but the decor is great also the music playing gets you in that relaxing mood. Service is all about the customers and if you have any questions everyone is willing to help. Menu is great because everything is made fresh and if you get the app while you are there, they have a point system and getting points also gives you certain items either free or on a discount. I got the app and in return we received free order of fries, they were delicious they also gave us free fried chips and pickles they made there and I'm not a fan of pickles but they might have changed that because I couldn't stop eating them. My wife and Aunt had the Southwestern chicken salad looked very good and I had the chopped chicken salad that was very tasty as well. To drink we all had the blackberry lemonade and it was very good. I can honestly say we will be back again and try other items on their menu. I didn't get to take pictures of my wife's and aunt's salad I was to busy eating mine, haha. Employees here are all about customer service, thank you for your service my family and will be back again!”

Both were delicious and perfectly flavored without being overly sweet. We also tried a garlic cream cheese stuffed bagel that was both sweet and savory. “I was out in Whittier today and found this sppt that opened a few months ago! I found parking right in front and the owner was super friendly. He also offered samples and they were good. I got the Chicken Tikka Masala and Spinach&Cheese on my 2 item plate with Garlic Naan! Everything was fresh and delicious the Garlic Naan was also huge and amazing. Deffinitely will be coming back for some good lattes and coffee. Also the inside is well and simply decorated and the seating is out of the way of walk way so people dont get crowsed by where you are sitting.”

“This place is one of my absolute favorites in Whittier! The burgers are amazing, and I love their selection of Belgian beers. I am no oyster expert, but I tried them once and they were great! “Delicious!! It’s your authentic Chinese food and they start you off with tea and crispy wonton chips that you dip in sweet sauce or spicy hot sauce. We ordered the family meal and we egg drop soup, eggs rolls for started and a meat patty that was cooked in foil. I really enjoyed the pork chops and orange chicken and both were yummy and sweet. The fried rice was spot on. I would like to try their other dishes and would come again. I only wished they had oranges but the meal was finished with a fortune cookie and almond cookie”

French toast was fantastic as well as the scrabble eggs. I really do like when a restaurant water they server taste good and their's did. With tax and everything came to less than $40.”
“If you're looking for delicious sushi and pho in Whittier, Pho & Roll is the place to go! The Crunch Roll is a must try but their other sushi rolls are just as tasty. If you're in the mood for something warm and comforting, the beef pho is a great choice. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. Highly recommend!”

“I do not give five stars for hamburgers you cannot order rare medium rare medium medium well or well.. if they don't ask you how you want your burger it means one the damn thing is so thin it'll be over in 3 seconds when they flip it.. and in and out has a burger the size of a drink coaster. Nothing to chirp at at all!. The smell that they walked over the freeways to get you to come in when you're drunk after the bar or hungry as hell is ingenious. Their french fries taste like cardboard that has been pressed into the shape of a French fry. Their milkshakes have little flavor. But overall there's still not overly priced since the New World Order has come in with the fake covid disease. And The Taste is decent. They fill the burger with giant pieces of lettuce and tomato to make it look big and the buns are well edible. We got lucky there wasn't a line this time maybe that's why they're getting a favorable review. We all know it's true.. but we still eat there for some reason? LOLParking: One of those lucky afternoons when there was nobody eating there when we walked in walk right in front. But by the time we ordered there was a line behind us.”

Great hamburgers, club sandwich, pastrami, fish tacos, gyros, get the meal with fries and a drink for the best deal.Parking: Parking is all around the restaurant, some spots are oddly placed and probably over 50% use the drive through. So parking is more than adequate.Kid-friendliness: It's a fast food place, kids love it and they serve families all day long. Meal sizes are more teenagers size than little kid size.”

“I stopped at this location on Telegraph to get a chocolate cake dessert. The drive thru was busy so I decided to park and enter the facility. The staff took my order and I received my item quickly. The frosting is very sweet but overall, I enjoyed my dessert. Entering and exiting is a bit challenging as one driveway crosses the drive thru cars and some parking stall are blocked depending on where the drive thru cars stop to get in line.”
“They make really great food. I had the avocado cheese burger combo and it was delicious. They have a drive thru and inside seating. If you eat inside they have free refills. The gentleman who took my order was super polite and nice. Good customer service. They also have good onion rings. This is a great place for good local burgers. The also have a full menu for breakfast and Mexican food.Parking: Parking is available, but there are only about 6 spots.”

“This place was delicious! Meat was very tasty. The tacos were bomba. The quesadilla was delicious, they had fresh made salsas that were all very good! They had fresh curtido and cucumbers! They seemed clean and all the food looked and tasted fresh. I appreciate that they had a table with chairs. I definitely recommend and want to return.”

“This place was fantastic. The food tasted homemade and some of their items were unique in a good way. I loved their Machete and Agua Mineral preparada. The drink was super refreshing. I also tasted the green posole which had nixtamal instead of the canned hominy. I liked that instead of two plain tostadas they were garnished with veggies and refried beans. It makes a big difference in enjoying your pozole. I also sampled my husbands quesadilla which was also delicious. I like that they make their masa based items with fresh masa. It makes a difference over the already, refrigerated, stuff. If there is a complaint it's that you are practically sitting in the kitchen. The dining area is small. It might be best to do take-out. I suspect they will have to move to a bigger location. They hit it out of the park with this place!”

Unfortunately, we only had $15 cash so all we could get were two mulitas and a taco. The owner told us not to worry and to order what we wanted and that we could come back and pay him tomorrow which is unheard of. We felt bad so told him not to worry and stuck to our original order. Well when we got our food I thought they made a mistake because we had an extra sope and 3 extra tacos. Brought it to their attention and turns out it was on the house! Couldn't believe that. So sweet of them. Food was bomb and the fact that they were so nice and trusting was the icing on the cake. Definitely coming back again and again. Their piña agua was delish.”
“I used Pin Up Cakes for my wedding and loved how my cake turned out! Everything was done online and was super easy. I sent them inspiration pictures of what I wanted and for how many people. I wanted a smaller cake for just me, my husband and our wedding party as we were doing sheet cake for the guests. After sending the pictures, they gave me different options and broke it down by how much each would cost. I loved that they did that!Since I wanted a 2 tier cake, but it was only for 12 people, they gave me the option to make the top tier out of styrofoam to cut costs! They also gave me options on if I wanted them to make flowers out of fondant, or I could bring them flowers and they would put it on, or I could have my florist do it at the venue. This also helped cut cost.I ended up with a strawberry cake with chocolate frosting and it was so delicious! I’m not a big fondant person so I was worried I wasn’t going to like that part, but it was honestly so thin and not super sweet which I was very happy about.”

The steak was so flavorful, the crust on the steak was sooo good and the steak was cooked perfectly. My cousins ribs fell off the bone and the mashed potatoes were soo good. “We enjoyed this place but at times it does get very busy so there is a wait. I ordered pancakes and cheese omelette. The portions are sufficient to share or take home leftovers, especially if you’re not a big eater. Overall, I would return for pancakes.”

“Had an amazing experience today at Mimi's. Came here to celebrate my friends birthday. From the minute we walked in to the minute we left everybody was so friendly so kind. The food was absolutely delicious. We had the French toast and bacon, potatoes delicious and we were so lucky we had Lorena she took such great care of us so very very attentive and warm outgoing. “THIS PLACE IS A MUST SEE. The ambiance of this place is amazing and the reconstruction was done to perfection. I specifically ordered and loved the Pappardelle! It was prepared at our table by Robbie who was so awesome and gave us a detailed description of the whole experience. It was dinner and a show in Whittier!! Amazing!! Brandy was also the best server. “First time trying this place, I brought my Aunt and wife for lunch and the ambiance is great open concept with heaters outside if it's cold but the decor is great also the music playing gets you in that relaxing mood. Service is all about the customers and if you have any questions everyone is willing to help. Menu is great because everything is made fresh and if you get the app while you are there, they have a point system and getting points also gives you certain items either free or on a discount. I got the app and in return we received free order of fries, they were delicious they also gave us free fried chips and pickles they made there and I'm not a fan of pickles but they might have changed that because I couldn't stop eating them. My wife and Aunt had the Southwestern chicken salad looked very good and I had the chopped chicken salad that was very tasty as well. To drink we all had the blackberry lemonade and it was very good. I can honestly say we will be back again and try other items on their menu. I didn't get to take pictures of my wife's and aunt's salad I was to busy eating mine, haha. “The food was great, and the girl who helped us was very helpful. She helped us select the right fish my mother in law, and even came by to see how she liked it. It's casual order at the counter dining, so I felt this was above and beyond. I also like their selection of beverages. A lot of unique flavors aside from the usual drinks. I had the fish and chips, They were crispy and not greasy. I would highly recommend this place and have already gone back.Dietary restrictions: They have things like cauliflower rice and grilled zucchini and asparagus for those needing healthier options.”

So many bookmarks, so little time?.Nostalgic feels, friendly service and the wait to get a seat here is worth it. Ordered the Meat Lovers Skillet that has bacon, ham, sausage, scrambled eggs & home fries topped with melted cheese??The side order was the best though...
