Just came in here for breakfast and ordered the steak and eggs. I was on the phone when my food was placed on the table and once i got off the phone i started to eat my food. The steak had a really bad taste to it and when I told the server she said she would tell the owner/manager. This guys literally gave me $5 back out from my $15 nasty steak plate and said next time I need to say something right away. I mentioned to him that I was on the phone and he said that it's not his problem or his fault that I'm on the phone. Not only grossed out by the food but the customer service is deplorable. This place needs to go already.

We ate here twice during our stay in beautiful Whittier. The prices are great. Excellent espresso a la mode!

Well, I've passed you by for decades. Never got a pull , but I was invited, brunch time. Ok so I don't care how cute or hip or traditional a place is. The food talks for itself not even short service or attitude, can compete with good food! Been here long and so forth, the plate I ordered left lots to desire, the chilackiles we're cold and dry, when I say dry looked old, the portion of broken rice was mind blowing how much was it about 12/11 dollar's, the beans had no flavor the whole plate had no flavor I was really disappointed to have gone to brunch spending like $25 and still was hungry, I approximately received a good $2.50 of food and I'm saying because eggs are expensive, I personally was disappointed

Excellent neighborhood cafe with an extensive menu that is consistently prepared well. The service is fast and efficient and the menu prices are more than fair and reasonably priced.Vegetarian options: Many dishes can be made vegetarian.Dietary restrictions: Mimo's offers egg whites and other high quality items and the staff/cook accordingly adjusts to the customers dietary needs.

Cute little cafe. I love their outdoor seating. Very friendly staff. I've gotten their greek salad a few times and it is amazing! Comes with dolmas and everything. Reasonable prices as well. An uptown gem! Would highly recommend!

It's a nice little cafe with some friendly staff. The people eating there tend to be regulars who know their order right away and have their place to sit picked out. If you go there once your likely to be a lifetime customer.

I ordered fries and a diet soda, the manager took the order and I went to the cashier to pay. I didn't see who filled my soda, but I noticed on my receipt that it said Pepsi. I am diabetic, and don't drink regular soda, so I asked Leslie (the cashier) to check if my drink was diet. She didn't respond so I asked again. She looked irritated so I tried to explain the reason why I needed to be sure. Instead of checking, she asked who took my order and said, if you ordered diet, then it's diet. So, again, I tried to explain that the receipt didn't say diet so I needed to be sure. Leslie was very rude and took my soda to remade to ensure it was diet. When I tried talking to the manager, he told me it's too busy today to ask staff for "those things". After explaining my reasons, he was neither understanding nor helpful. He walked away, saying I don't know what to tell you...Dietary restrictions: Be careful if you ask them to ensure you need a diet soda.

Nice quiet local sandwich cafe. We dropped in to try their Monte Cristo sandwich, was pretty good. Good fries too. Menu is enormous so we will be back to try some other sandwiches.Parking: Greenleaf in uptown is always a crapshoot to get on street parking next to your choice of establishment, but there is a parking structure close by
