“Excellent hotel - location, access, staff! It was a wonderful, albeit short stay. The location was very good for us to access a few places of interest. Great parking. Great staff. Breakfast was excellent. Thank you! We hope to be back, especially during the Canadian winter season!!“

“New bar! Loved the atmosphere and vibes. Great music, cool seats, good food menu selection. They have TVs all around and Host the ‘UFC’ and ‘Boxing’ matches. The place was very clean. Jen ‘The Bartender’ was very informative, kind, welcoming and hospitable. Definitely (The New Hot Spot) to check out.Parking: Metered parking outside is free after 8pm. They have free parking in the back of the bar.“

“Driven by this place at least a hundred times. Thought I'd try it after everyone keeps saying how good it is. What a pleasant surprise. Very nice place. Bigger than it looks from the outside. The food was excellent. It's not like a lot of pubs that have a kitchen just to circumvent the liquor license laws, it was legit food. Fish and chips were perfect. Great friendly crowd, no cliques, no hipsters, all cool. I'll definitely go back.“

“Great Food, Great Service, Great Atmosphere They have a private room for small parties. My Networking Group hosted a mixer there. They prepared a buffet for us and provided a waitress to take our drink orders. It was perfect. I would definitely book the room again, hang out with friends, and take the family there for lunch. “I really enjoyed this little pub that my brother Randy brought me to. It had like 30 Taps, great beer selections. I did a flight. Every beer I tried on the flight was excellent, I especially liked the dessert beer that I had, a barrel aged Stout. The bartender had on a Budweiser t-shirt which I thought was ironic considering how much good craft beer they had, I appreciate irony so thank you!“

“Really love the place but a really greasy guy sat next to me at the bar and stank up the whole place, talking about how much his "kids" love him at his "teaching gig" and how the "dues payer" "trashes his trans kid" and whatnot, he spent half an hour listing his credits from various tv, radio, and record contracts he had, yet he demonstrated how unfunny and tone deaf he was. Once i finally got away from this bufoon the staff could not have been more lovely and the food and service was cracking.“

“Was told the kitchen was already closed when we arrived but then a group of 3 that walked in after us was able to order some fries which is what we had wanted. Got an old fashioned and a Diablo. Old fashioned was good and on the stronger side. Karaoke was going on. There were a lot of people but had no trouble getting a seat and it didn't feel crowded. The bartender (I think Mike?) was nice and checked in even though it was busy.“

“Came here on a Saturday night around 10pm. Pretty packed, but it's not like you are crammed like sardines. My friends and I got some food and it was decent, typical bar food. The highlight of coming here was the cocktails. They have a list of specialty cocktails, and they are all very modestly priced (they are also delicious). Overall, a pretty normal, casual bar to come to with friends.“

“Great experience had at Porter's House! This bar is located within the Whole Foods in Porter Ranch! Today I had amazing service from Alex and Xander at the bar! They were very helpful in selecting my drinks! They introduced us to a great combo of ciders to take the sweetness off! Plus they help me fine a good sparkling wine! “Islands is a classic family favorite. I miss the giant birds that they had at the old location back in the day, however the modern day Islands is fresh take on the beachy island vibe of yesteryear. They have a spacious outdoor patio, bar space and plenty of booths inside. The menu has changed quite a bit over time (they have a burrito on the menu now?), but they are typically known for their burgers and fries. Their fries are so good and they always come in a large portion. I can never get enough! I ordered the big wave and the kid's burger for my son. For your burger you have a choice of bun (wheat or white) or you can do it lettuce wrapped. I thought the kids menu had a lot of great options for littles. My son really liked his side of pineapple! However his burger was SO salty. It was saltier than my big wave burger was, so not sure if this was a fluke or the kids burgers are just saltier. Didn't love it. I enjoyed my big wave. It's exactly what you would expect and the veggies on it tasted crisp and fresh. Service was great too! Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. Overall the restaurant was clean and the atmosphere is enjoyable. I come here more for the nostalgia of it but I do crave their fries often!“

“This place is a lot of fun. Especially on the weekends, you can expect to find some live music, pool, darts, and some amazing beers on tap. If you want to catch a good game during happy hour it's a great spot too. There is no food but you can grab a bite at the local Jerry Pizza next door if you feeling hungry and head back over for your favorite beer and fun!!“

“This place was awesome. I was looking for a place to have a drink and found Woodman right off Ventura. The bartender Chad was great. He pretty much worked the entire restaurant and did a fantastic job keeping up with the service and being engaged with the customers. It's a sports bar so they had on the games. I didn't really have anything to eat but the chips and salsa. Being a salsa person it was pretty goods. I'll definitely be back.“
