Went their the other night for dinner the food was served late and slightly cold my waiter was unresponsive to certain request and seemed cold I would not recommend this place and will not be getting my business again !

Great food that tastes like home cooking. Portions are huge, you’ll have leftovers. It’s got a family vibe. Beef Stroganoff on fries was awesome. Best breaded chicken sandwich. Make sure to buy a loaf of bread when leaving. They make their own, amazing.

Best OLIVE Bread ? (will slice for you if you ask) ❤️❤️. Ate here recently and had a great dining experience. Greek Omelette, Salmon Sandwich, Tomato Bisque Soup was all delicious. Love their freshly made juices (can combine them). Hubby had the Cantaloupe & Honeydew combo; I opted for the Watermelon. Both so refreshing. Love being back in the area so we can dine here more often.

THE BAKER BAKERY & CAFE is a terrific "brasserie."(I absorbed a petit French vocabulary watching Gene Kelly, Leslie Caron, and Oscar Levant in the MGM musical, "An American in Paris." Incidentally, the film was photographed in the early 1950's, on 44 sets in Culver City, California, about ten miles South, down the 405.)The servers understand that they are serving quality and respect the customer's subtlety of choice. Chef Adman's sandwiches are thick and delicious. His interpretation of a classic French omelette is, according to my wife, terrific. His salads, also generous, are fresh and crisp. Stopped here on vaca, Food was really yummy I got a salmon sandwich. Bread on the sandwich was delicious. I chose the olive bread. I didn't know my sandwich came with fries. Would have opted for a healthier side. Asked staff about the half sandwich/soup or salad deal options and was given 3 different answers of what the options were which ended up confusing everyone at the table. Asked if we wanted a bread basket that we never got. Give it a shot.

Amazing food, AMAZING service, I highly recommend. We destroyed our food! This place feels like Mom's cooking. Nothing crazy, just organic delicious food. It's so healthy, and an amazing break from all the synthetic and fake food sold these days. I highly recommend this small business!

I have been coming to this restaurant and bakery for many years. Today I went in strictly for a loaf of sourdough bread which I’ve bought many times. The bread had gone up significantly in price from $6.00 to $8.95. I was shocked but thought if the bread is really great today I could accept this price on occasion. However the bread was not great. The crust was so tough it was like chewing on cardboard. I definitely can not recommend them now for bread and I hesitate to go there for lunch where sandwiches would be made on this bread.
