Veggie Grill

A friend and I were out and about running errands when she had started getting very hangry. She's strictly vegan, so we looked around for the nearest vegan restaurant (no cross contamination) and Veggie Grill was it. Parking here is free for the first hour and half and it's abundant, which is a plus.We arrived and quickly placed our orders. This spot is $$$ BUT its healthy and you get a lot food. I got a Harvest bowl that had vegan chicken, greens, grains, beets, sweet potatoes etc. I loved it. I usually don't mind paying for food that's healthy and of good quality. Clean restaurant, nice staff and straight forward menu. This one was located at the Westfield Village Shops. While I am by no stretch of the imagination a vegetarian, as a Catholic, Veggie Grill has become a great option for when I need to scratch that 'meat itch' but it's during Lent & meat isn't an option. I've tried a few things off the menu but tent to stick to the chick'n options. They have great texture & flavor that is very reminiscent to the real thing.
