We’ve been looking for authentic Michoacán style carnitas since we moved to Vacaville, and unfortunately there is no option to be had in our new town. Fortunately we came across this gem in Woodland for our carnitas cravings. It’s about 30 minutes away but worn the trip!
I heard about the place from a friend of mine. When I went, they were very busy. Despite being very crowded, and busy, they treated each customer with courtesy and respect. Top that off with great food and fast service, this is my go to spot for lunch. Highly recommend.

The carnitas are delicious, as one might expect. All the meat options are pork based, which is also not surprising. The carnitas are so good, we got tacos and a burrito. A bit expensive, but everything is nowadays and I don't blame them. Horchata was flavorful but a little too sweet for me, I'd still get it again though.Vegetarian options: Good luck lol.
