Came here for a birthday celebration with my family. We've been wanting to try this place so we were all excited! Our reservation was for 830pm. We got seated, ordered our appetizers and main dishes. We ordered the main dishes around 9pm and didn't come out to our table until an hour later. At that point I wasn't really hungry anymore so I took 1 bite of the zucchini lasagna then packed the rest to take home. I ate the lasagna the next day and found a long piece of PLASTIC right in the middle of the lasagna!!! Good thing I chew my food slowly because I could have choked on it!! I would not recommend this place to anyone. Slow service, okay food and ALL HYPE!

The food was about a six out of 10 the service was about a two out of 10 for a party of seven. We were sat at a table for a party of 4. I was told that because we didn't have reservations and they were full we remained in the restaurant for about an hour, the entire restaurant was maybe 10% full. They refuse to sit us in the appropriate seating for a party of seven we spent about $400 but the food was not satisfactory. Service was abysmal. We were given the broken plates, not given enough napkins and cups for each person in the table. We asked for a dessert first my mother in laws birthday, we were told to wait and they never came with the dessert. We were also never asked for an order of drinks until we were finished with our meal.

When I say 5 we mean it!! I only do Best and Worst reviews and this place is in top 3 Restaurants we have ever eaten at in the World. From the romantic ambience to the service to the drinks to the food to the desserts, it is all PERFECT!! Our server "Brian" was the best, super friendly, helpful and made our experience more special. After helping us pick all of the delectable Appetizers we chose the Lasagne for our entree and it was phenomenal. Then we had to try the desserts and to our surprise Brian had prepared for us a custom Dessert Trio that was to die for. I hesitated to even write a review worried people will flood this beautiful restaurant and it will be too hard to get in anymore We will be back frequently until we try everything on this Menu!! Cannot wait.

Loved this place. We made this reservation a couple days before we learned that Michael Chiarello had passed away. Incredibly sad. The food was amazing. The service was exceptional. The restaurant, inside and outside, was beautiful. We had a great dinner and excellent wine with some of our friends after a day visiting wineries and vineyards. Would definitely go back.

I've gone to this restaurant for dinners, lunches, celebrations, birthdays- but my favorite time to come here is during lunch by myself. I prefer to sit outside and sip on my favorite absolutely gorgeous purple hued cocktail (After Spa Cocktail) and contemplate how amazing life is while taking in the scenery. My favorite appetizer is the calamari with squid ink aioli. Amazing! And the bread with the Parmesan cheese dip is delicious. The Spaghetti alla Sophia Loren is so refreshing- it's so tasty and simply prepared but so fresh- almost like the ingredients were just picked from the garden. The raviolo is rich and very filling. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu! And let's not forget what makes a restaurant great.... The service. Everyone is very hospitable and service is always top notch. I highly recommend this amazing restaurant to anyone who is looking for an amazing meal, great cocktails, and impeccable service.

This place was terrible. The service and food. I give it a one star for the iced tea. It was nice and cold. Tried 3 entrées, all were not worth paying even $5 for. One was so overcooked, the cheese was literally black. Glad we now know that the hype was fake.

I recently dined at Bottega Restaurant in Yountville, and it was an absolute delight! From the moment we stepped in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The food? Exquisite! Each dish was a masterpiece of flavor, expertly crafted with the finest ingredients. But what truly set this experience apart was the impeccable service. Attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable staff made us feel like VIPs throughout the entire meal. Bottega Restaurant exceeded all expectations, earning a well-deserved five-star rating. A must-visit for anyone seeking an unforgettable culinary experience in Yountville!

Super small spaghetti portion, we wondered if it was a sampler or the actual dish. Other dishes were small in portion too. Had to ask 5 times for a water refill. The garlic butter with bread was too cheesy and not flavorful. We requested olive oil/balsamic vinegar for the bread 3 times, but it was never served. Service ladies avoided our table as much as they could. All other dishes (veg and non veg) were mediocre at best. Nothing impressive - neither the food nor the service. Definitely not going back there.

My old roommate was visiting from out of state, so we decided to spend the day in Napa. Before wine tasting, we dined at Bottega to fill our bellies. The Hubs and I shared the pear salad and it was a great way to start the meal! All the ingredients were very fresh and not overly dressed. I ordered the rabbit rigatoni, which I highly recommend. The rabbit was a tad bit dry and simply tasted like chicken breast, but the pasta was the start of the show. It was perfectly cooked to al dente and smothered in a rich demi-glace. The sauce was divine! The Hubs ordered the vegetarian fusilli, which had a spicy kick. It was lighter and healthier for sure, but I enjoyed my dish so much more! One kid ordered the Bolognese and the other ordered the steak with truffle fries. They were both very happy with their meals! The service was also great! There was a mixup with the brussels sprouts dish my friend ordered. She ordered the roasted brussels sprouts, but the server brought out the shaved brussels sprouts salad. The server apologized and took care of it right away with no fuss, which was much appreciated. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience. I'll have to try the Spaghetti alla Sophia Loren next time as it's my sister's favorite!
