This experience was first class. It is a bigger winery than many in Napa. However we were treated very personally and while we planned to just stay for an hour it ended up being two hours because we enjoyed our time, the service and the sparkling wine so much.We did the Terroir tasting and that was perfect. The property is newly renovated and stunning.

Prescott truly made our experience at Chandon! He was kind, personable and very knowledgeable about the product. He made us feel like VIPs!! He provided a world class tasting experience and I would highly recommend a tasting here. Prescott thank you for your hospitality and Chandon thank you for the bubbles!

I can’t tell you how disappointed we were. We saved Chandon as our lunchtime stop on our wine tour, as we thought it would be the highlight. It was quite the opposite. Although the location and set up are stunning the food and service were awful and this spoiled our tasting experience. It was by far the worst meal we had during our two week spell in Australia. The oysters were dressed with something bitter tasting which ruined their taste. I had to remove the dressing as best I could and then douse the oysters in Tabasco to make them edible. The crab sliders were soft and mushy. My daughter literally gagged on the tuna ceviche. The taramasalata was insipid, and I have never encountered a charcuterie board that was so unimpressive. The prosciutto had a nasty tang to it, the bresaola tasted as if it had been left out of the fridge for a day, the terrine was unpleasant. The highlights of the charcuterie board were the mortadella (which is our least favourite item on the board) and the chicken liver parfait which would have been nice enough if the bread hadn’t been stale. Truly disappointing.

Beautiful seating area for the wine tasting

I really didn't want to leave this review. I appreciate their wines very much and have spent several occasions at the winery. My issue is with the club. We signed up several years ago and looked forward to our quarterly shipment. Life changes and we decided to reduce our expenditures. Called and put our club membership on hold. This was fine for a couple of years. Then a charge and a unwanted shipment. The employees were helpful and wanted to remedy the error. "Just send the wine back and your charges will be credited ". Wine went back 45 days ago and I haven't received a credit. Welcome to cooperate America.

I love bubbles and I wish I could give this place more stars. It's a 3.5 but I am rounding up to a 4. My husband and I were on the way to celebrate our anniversary weekend in Napa. Around 9AM they texted me letting me know that it was extra chilly in Napa that morning and to dress appropriately. We had also checked the weather prior to leaving but I did appreciate their text. The drive up to the grounds was nice. They opened at 10AM and we arrived shortly after for our 10:30AM reservation. They were unable to seat us right away, okay we were early, and we hung out in the shop area. It looked very fancy like a museum. The staff girl gave us the option of indoor or outdoor seating and when we chose outdoor, we got to pick where to sit. She was friendly and brought us waters. It took a while for our pourer to come over to us and begin the tasting.I wasn't fully sure what we had reserved, I just knew it was a classic tasting. I was a bit disappointed that the tasting flight was only 4 wines instead of 5.The pouring started but he seemed a bit detached and robotic with us. Meanwhile, he was friendlier with the other two tables near us. We were not asked if we wanted to order any food to go with our tasting. We let him know we wanted food and he gave us a couple options, a charcuterie or a cheese board. We picked the charcuterie which was just meats. We were on our 2nd of 4 wines and still didn't have our food. I was really stretching that 2nd one. I kindly reminded him about it and he said he hadn't put the order in it but was going to. Then he went on his break and we were introduced to someone else. I forgot his name but he was much kinder and more personable. We had a nice chat with him and also asked him questions about the grounds. The charcuterie portion was good for 2 people. It also came with crackers and warm bread. I wish they would offer a mix of meats and cheese without having to order them separately. Our pourer returned towards the end and gave us our 4th wine. Then he came out with a 5th that had earl grey tea - quite unique to combine tea with sparkling wine. We had view of the grounds. it was clean, well kept, and a bit smaller than I had imagined. The wines were okay, but I didn't like them enough to buy a bottle. He wished us a happy anniversary but the 2 pourers we had did not do or offer us anything special for the occasion. Overall, I was expecting something much grander from Chandon.

Overall, it was a great experience. The Educator who led us through the tasting was incredibly knowledgeable. The tasting pours are very generous. You are also given “small bites” that pair with each glass.

I was looking for a winery that offered lunch to celebrate my joined engagement, bachelor, bachelor party. Most places offer food pairings which is typically described as a small snack. I was looking for a full lunch, which made it a little tricky to do my own research in the area.I discover the togetherness lunch on their website and after clarifying with the concierge's that this is a full meal experience, I knew this would be my first stop for the weekend. It was a little over $1000 for eight people for a lunch that included cheeseboard, carpaccio, rice, shrimp, spinach rolls, dessert, and 4 bottles of champagne. We spent almost 3 hours slowly sipping under a nice overcast. Wonderful service to the table. We had one person who was trained in the educational aspects of champagne, production, and a new hire, who is responsible for filling our water glasses.A wonderful experience for both cost and experience. I would definitely return again for a group lunch.

Added Chandon to our Napa trip and really enjoyed it. Did the 3 tastings then ordered a bottle to try and a cheese board. Very relaxing and beautiful grounds. Worth the visit!
