My experience was not bad. The menu didn't tell me what type of beans, rice or anything..and I did not ask (I probably should've, but i don't usually). The service was amazing, but the food was a bit disappointing. I ordered the Burrito Mojato, it had black beans in the burrito, and on the side. I might give it another chance, but we'll see.Vegetarian options: There's good VEGAN options, but they have tofu for a meat replacement. But you can just order anything and just remove the meat, and make sure the sauce is vegetarian also!Dietary restrictions: There's different options, I recommend checking it out in person.Parking: Parking is located on the side of the restaurant. There's a lot of spaces to park. Depending on how busy it is, it may be packed up a bit, but there's still a good amount of spaces to park.Kid-friendliness: For picky eaters or for any other reason, there's a simple quesadilla, create your own burrito, and a burger..(and more). The chairs are not too high, so anyone who's short & kids may sit easily too.Wheelchair accessibility: There's a ramp inside, and it's wheelchair accessible & friendly.

I got food poisoning eating here ,I ordered their beef fajitas and was sick for a whole week and missed a whole weeks work and I was in town for work .. I will never eat here again and I don't recommend any one eat here that's my opinion...

Customer service is horrible. The owner of the restaurant is very disrespectful.. I called because my soup was super super spicy could not eat it I eat here at least once every other week never had a problem. The only way they would give me a refund is if I drove the food back to them which was 20 minutes away from my house round-trip 40 minutes and it's raining outside. He says it's his policy and he does not need to post it anywhere. You just lost a customer and I explained that to him and he did not even care. They were aware the soup was super spicy other customers have been complaining all week. They said it's the chilies they're using and they can't control if they're spicy or not even though I've had this soup about eight different times never was it spicy . The manager is unreal.

El Zarape is like an oasis for vegans in the meat-laden food desert of middle America. You will enjoy the vegan options on the menu without worrying one bit. They serve three vegan filler options for almost every dish on the menu and all three are awesome. My wife’s favorite was the chili verde and the chile colorado has a nice smoky flavor to it. I got the chimichanga with vegan adobada and there aren’t words to describe how happy this meal made me feel. Awesome margaritas too. The server was so well informed on their vegan options that it made the whole dining experience a pleasure. El Zarape will be our top dining choice in Yuba City from now on.Vegetarian options: See above - completely safe for vegans here.

A Monday lunch, my companion was ok with their food Me not so pleased. Chicken was stewed, and heavy black pepper. Just tasted old, not fresh and like it had been stewing like leftover meat from the weekend. Crispy taco was indeed crisp but very greasy. Not at all what I expected from this long establish business. Service was good. Definitely a pass on any return visits.
